Chapter Twenty - Seven
Nightmares and Dreams


Because her throat was still sore she sent him a messiage to him by their link. "What happened to me"? she sent to him. "You've had a blood clot in your brain, i've had to remove it". he told her. Nicola had tears rolling down her face as she sent another messiage. "What about"? she sent and pointed to her tummy. "Our baby's doing just fine, It's a fighter just like it's Dad". He said patting her tummy gently with a smile. "What about you? Are you alright"? She sent stroaking his face. he nodded. "You've done a fantastic job on my leg, I can feel the bones healing right this minute, hun". he said taking her hand and kissing it. "I found two key in your pocket". he said to her. "Tardis, you have to tell him now". She sent to the ship. "You tell him some of it". said the Tardis. Nic nodded "hun I'm not the only one pregnant. The Tardis is too". Nic sent to him "Well she growing a baby Tardis and she didn't want you to know yet as she wanted the surprise you, She only told me when you were talking to Jack outside". she sent him and the Doctor smiled "She's asked me to help with it's growth, all i do is move it to a different room once a month, It started of in the libary as a little music box". She told him. "Wow" he said with a grin as he listened. "The keys showed up in my hand when i touched the box". she explained to him. "That's what happened to me when i first placed my hands on this Tardis, that was a bonding you went through, no matter what happens if you lose those keys they'll find their way back to you". he said kissing her.
"Here drink some water, it'll help you talk". He said holding a cup with a straw in it, she took a sip "I hate water, I like something fruity in it". she sent making a face which made him laugh. "Try saying something"? he asked her with a smile. "So... so ... Doctor... when .. will my mouth be allowed to give the one i love a blow-job"? she said with a smile as her voice got better. The Doctor laughed. "Now if you want, no!". he said smiling "In about a week and you are also gonna have to stay here too". He said getting up with his crutches and kissed her goodnight. "Get some sleep sweetheart". he said to her as he was about to leave the sick bay. "Where the hell do you think you're going"? Nicola asked him. "Well.... I...". He began "You're leg is broken and you were about to walk out of here". she said angrliy at him, "But I...". He tried to say as she relaxed a bit."Hun.Can you please come back to bed for me". she asked him.
he lent over her bed. "Ok, hun". he said kissing her. "Thanks". She said to her love.
The Doctor managed to push the other bed closer to hers and got on his bed. They took each others hands and held them while they fell to sleep. As they slept Nicola was revisiting the courtroom again, only this time the beast did take her away from her Doctor and then raped her so bad he hurt her baby she was carrying now. She removed her hand from the Doctor's and placed it on her presous bump and cuddled it (her body was going through the motions of her dream) she started to cry in her sleep and in her dream she was crying and screaming in pain from her attacker, She shouted out in her sleep "NNNNOOOO"! and awaking the Doctor with a start, he heard her shout "No'ooo Please not my baby". in her dream she saw the beast cut a fully grown baby boy out of her tummy.
The Doctor sat up in his bed and put his fingertips on Nicola's temples and entered her mind and dream. Nicola saw a white knight in shinning armor on a white horse, draw his sword and chased the monster away, and catching the baby as the beast dropped it. The white knight brought his sword down on the beasts head, decapitating him and then stabbing him in the heart. The knight then rode back with the baby in his arms and handed it back to Nicola. "Please sir, let me see the face of my hero"? Nic asked with tears rolling down her face as she took her son. The white knight dismounted his horse and walk up close to her and pulled up his vizer on his helmet, a bright light shone from somewhere and Nicola smiled as it was her Doctor "Who's the horse"? she asked him with a cuddle " The Tardis, She wanted to be my noble Steed, I had no choice". he said kissing her. when they broke apart Nicola looked at the baby in her arms. "Well! I've never been wrong before, whenever i have these dream and i've always been right". She said to the Doctor. "Hun we're having a boy". she said to him with a smile and handed her son to his dad. "Oh' are you sure"? He asked her taking the baby into his arms. "I've been having these sort of dreams since i was five and i knew when someone was pregnant before they even know, the first was a friend who use to babysit Kim and me when we were little. I dreamt that i was playing with a doll and when it got the pretend changing nappies time the doll would have real parts, like for a boy it'll have a penis and for a girl it would have a viginia, it all changed when i turned 16 that the dolls turned real completely". she told him and he nodded to let her know he understood. As they fell to sleep peacefully, both Nicola and the Doctor played with their son in Nic's dream. She smiled as she watched her lover playing with their son and making him laugh. The Doctor looked up with a wide smile on his face "What"? he asked with a grin. Nicola shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. "What do you want to call him"? she asked him and looking at her son. The Doctor looked at his son and studied his face. "He looks like a David". he said as nic smiled "David, Doctor, Clark". she said smiling and kissing both of them but the Doctor more lovingly, "will you marry me"? She asked him, he looked up at her with a shocked look on his face "I thought our souls did all that for us". he said to her confused. "They did, I just something offical that's all and i also want my mum, dad, Kim and Tom to meet you and to know about us". she told him and he could see the dreamy look on her face as she was saying this and with a smile he took her into his arms and kissed her "Ok. Hun, we'll do your way, we'll have a wedding". he said as they broke apart.
The Tardis came to wake them up they thanked her and continued with the dream a bit longer. "Kiss him, hun as this'll be the last time i'll dream about David, we won't see him again until he's born". she said to her Doctor, he picked up his son and he drew Nicola aswell into his arms and they both gave little David a kiss good bye.
