The Trial

Nicola's hair was standing up on end. "Are you ready, Hun"? The Doctor asked her. Nicola looked nervous again and said, "I have a bad feeling about this trial today, Hun". As she and The Doctor moved out of the library. "Everything'll be fine". He said putting his arm over her shoulders as they walked into the control room. They went to the door to the outside world. Nicola took a deep breath "Good luck, Nic". The Tardis said as Nicola looked over her shoulders to look at the Tardis. "Thank you, Tardis". She said out loud. "Come on sweetie". The Doctor said as he opened the doors.
The weather was miserable, it was raining. The Doctor lifted his jacket over both of their heads and led her to the torchwood underground building, once inside they took the elevator down to underground level. When they walked inside they walked over a little draw bridge and saw a hand a glass box, "Good golly my hand". The Doctor said looking at it. "Yeah some little boy picked it up at Christmas a year ago, thinking it was cool". Jack said from above. "Hee, Hee. What did his mother do"? The Doctor asked. "She called the police and the police called us said it was crawling around their office, where they took it". Jack said folding his arms over his chest. "I'm glad you're felling better, my dear". He said to Nicola as she and The Doctor went up. "Thanks". She smiled. "This way please". He said showing them where to go for the trial.
When they got inside, guards and other members of torchwood were inside. 'The Cell' that held the alien was in the middle of the courtroom. The alien sensed Nicola as she entered the room. He started pacing inside the cell like a lion waiting for its prey. Nicola saw that he was naked and shivered as she saw his cock grow bigger she looked at The Doctor with fear. "He's going to get out, Doctor, if he still see's me as his 'mate' nothing is going to stop him from getting to me". She whispered to him as they sat down. "If he gets out then I’ll stun him with the sonic-screwdriver ... again". he whispered in her ear. "besides he'll have to get through me to get to you, I won't let him hurt you again". he said wrapping his arms around her. The beast growled when he saw this and said with a growl "GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY MATE". making Nicola jump in fright. The Doctor looked at the creature in the cell with anger. "I CAN DO WHAT I LIKE TO MY WIFE". he said to it. Nicola looked at The Doctor with arw and so much love and smiled "Wife"? and she giggled. The Doctor turned to her. "That all i see when i look at you, hun". he told her and then they both kissed.
They were so into each other that they didn't hear the sound of smashing glass. The next minute The Doctor was thrown onto a table away from Nicola, when Nicola screamed he punched her in the back of the head and knocked her out, he then picked her up when she fell to the floor out cold and put her over his shoulder. He told the guards to let them leave or he'd kill her. The guards keeping their weapons up one of the guards said. "You can't get out". he said pointing his gun at the alien.
Nicola was slowly coming around. (The alien had turned away from The Doctor thinking him dead) she saw she was on the aliens shoulder in a firemans lift sort of way. she looked up and saw The Doctor waking up with pain. she used her mind link to The Doctor to talk to him. "Hun, are you ok"? she sent to him sadly. The Doctor looked up to see the alien with his back to him demanding the guards to let him go. He saw Nicola was over his shoulder and was looking at him sadly. "I'll be fine. Huney". he sent back. "He'll kill me and the baby if he got the chance". she sent with tears in her eyes. "I won't let that happen". he sent to her. hhe tried to move, but his leg was broken. "Aahh". he sent through the link. "Don't move hun". she sent him.
The Doctor took the sonic-screwdriver out of his pocket and turned the controls to strong stun/knockout. "Do you think you can catch this"? he sent showing her the screwdriver. "I'll try". she sent. "when you get it. aim the blue light you see at his back and press the black button".
he sent to her. "Ok". she sent holding out her free hand. The Doctor threw the sonic-screwdriver to Nicola, who caught it. who caught it The Doctor sent a loud yes to her as she caught it, she smiled and then with all her hate, rage and anger hit the beast in the back and pressed the button. he screamed and fell to the ground, Nicola fell with him. But as he fell backwards he landed on Nicola's head and she was pinned and so she couldn't breathe, she struggled to get him off but he was too heavy for her. "NICOLA"! screamed the Doctor, ignoring his broken leg he got up and limped as fast as he could toward his love, with the help of the guards and Jack. (he'd just came into the room) they lifted the big alien off her. When the Doctor pulled Nicola away from the beast, she wasn't moving, he felt her two hearts they were both beating but very slowly. "Come on, hun"? he said breathing into her mouth, but the next minute she was kissing him, when they broke apart she said. "I'm sorry hun, it's just when i knew i couldn't get him off me, I went floating about for a bit, when i saw you giving me mouth to mouth, i came back". "oh hun". The Doctor said with tears rolling down his face. "I'm so sorry, I thought you'd be safe". he said whincing as he sat on the floor again in pain. "I'm not afraid of him anymore thanks to you". she said kissing him and then she slapped him. "ouch, what was that for"? he asked. "I thought i told you not to bloody well, move". she said looking mad. she wripped his trousers away from the skin. "Sorry hun, but when i thought he killed you". he said whincing at the pain. "I had to get to you. Pain or no pain". "Pain...PAIN! Your Bloody Leg Is Broken, Hee! How much more bloody PAIN do you need". she said as she saw his bone sticking out of a bleeding wound. The Doctor looked pale, she took a hold of her blouse sleeve and ripped it off her arm. Then looking into his eyes "Hun This is going to hurt like hell". she told him and he brased himself as she tied the sleeve tight above the wound, The Doctor cried out in pain. "I'm so sorry luv". she said cuddling him tight. "over 900 years old and i still cry like a baby". he said to her with a small grin. "I don't care, you're still the man i love". she said kissing him.
"Doc, Nic". said a voice behind them, it was Jack, they broke apart and looked at Jack. "The Judge says the beast is too dangerous to live and he is going to get the chop". he told them and they both nodded.
"Do you need any help getting back"? Jack asked. "I would like that, thanks Jack, does your sick bay have a wheelchair we could borrow"? she asked him. "I'll go and get it, while you put splints on that leg". Jack said handing her some bambo sticks and a couple of scarves, she nodded her thanks and strapped the Doctor's leg up. "I don't know how i'm going to fix you up, hun, I've never done this before". she said to the man she loved. "You're doing great at the moment". he told her with a kiss.
When Jack came back with the wheelchair the Doctor said "Could someone apart from Nic lift me". At which she gave a hurtful look, and he saw the hurt cross her eyes. "Hun I love you very much and while you're pregnant I don't want you lifting anything that's heavy and that includes me, and besides you can still push me in the
wheelchair". he told her with a smile which melted her hearts away and the hurt she felt and she nodded.
