Bargin

Hannibal shut the door behind him upon entering his office. Will was already pouring a glass of whisky for himself and Hannibal.

"What's the problem Will?" Hannibal asked taking the glass from Will's hand.

Will took a sip of the amber liquid and set the glass on the desk.

"When I went to Julie's house to get Titus...I was inside putting some of her things in a bag and a black town car pulled up. Luckily I had parked at my house and walked over to her's. I grabbed her stuff and Titus and got out of there."

Hannibal's jaw tensed under his skin.

"Did you see who it was?"

Will shook his head and took another swig of whisky.

     "I didn't...but I have a good idea."

It didn't need to be said. Both Hannibal and Will knew that Mason Verger wasn't the type of man to discouraged. Hannibal sat down in the chair behind his desk. Will could see the hardness in his face as he stared at the glass of him. Without warning Hannibal smashed the glass with his hand sending shards flying like shrapnel. Will jumped back as he watched the bright red blood flow from Hannibal's palm. He stood and threw the left over shards into the fireplace. Drops of blood trailing along the dark wood floor. He looked at Will, his maroon eyes seemed almost black in the darkness of the office. Will had never seen Hannibal loose control like this, a stab of fear hit him like a knife in his very core.

"Hannibal.....we need to end this. As long as Mason Verger is alive he will hunt her like a endangered species. He know's what she is...to both of us. He would proudly mount her head on his wall and watch us break. He's had a taste of her blood and he's not going to stop."

Hannibal leaned against his desk. Everything seemed so uncertain at that moment. There was a heavy feeling in the room that settled on Will like a chill.

"Will....what are you willing to do for her?" Hannibal asked coming close to his side.

     "Anything." Will answered sternly.

     "Good." Hannibal smiled.

Will felt that familiar feeling creep over him. The darkness needed to be let in again and this time....it needed to take over.
