Chapter Twenty-Three
The TARDIS’s secret
“I’ll be there too and lots of guards around the cell he’s in”. Jack said to her. Nicola nodded. “When’s the trial”. She asked him. “Tomorrow at 12 o’clock”. Jack said getting up. “I’m going to show Jack out, Hun”. The Doctor said to her. “Why don’t you relax and float around with The TARDIS for a bit. She’ll look after you”. He said to her. Nicola settled down and nodded and thanked Jack for coming to see her. “Ok sweetheart. I’ll see you tomorrow”. Jack said walking out of the room with The Doctor they left.
Nicola started to relax a bit and moved deeper into the covers; she cleared her mind of thoughts and floated out of her body. (Her body’s eyes were open still and she was breathing). “TARDIS”? She called her friend and floated out of the room. “TARDIS”? She called again. “In the control room”. Said The TARDIS.
Nicola floated there. When she got to the control room; she saw the TARDIS’s spirit working on something. “Hi”. Nicola said still a bit upset. “Are you aright”? The TARDIS asked, looking up from what she was doing. Nicola shook her head. “Did you see The Doctor bring an unconscious male alien aboard”? She asked The TARDIS in tears as she watched The Doctor lead Jack outside. “Yeah, I just saw Jack’s people take him away”. Said the ship. “He raped me, he hurt me and he made me have his children, you saw them the eight children we left on Atreks”. She said with tears rolling down her face. “He’s got a trial tomorrow and Jack and The Doctor want me to go so I can get some closure on this rape thing". Nicola said. "He did WHAT"? The Tardis said looking angry. (The Doctor was outside The Tardis talking to Jack. so he didn't know she was getting mad.) "He raped me. He injected me with something to help me cope with a fast pregnancy I think. He then raped me. He hurt me so much". Nicola said sobbing. "HE RAPED YOU". The Tardis said turning from green to yellow. Nicola nodded and saw the doctor come back inside. "When I screamed for help, he punched my head until I was dizzy and I didn't know where I was. But I knew he was there, his heavy rough body on top of me". She continued. As the Tardis kept listening the angrier she got.
The Doctor turned around and stopped when he saw the tardis had turned from green to yellow. 'Oh no, she's making her get mad'. He thought.
"Nicola hun, If you can hear me, calm The Tardis down before she pops, you don't want her to go red". He said out loud. Nicola could see the Doctor's worried face. "I hope they find him guilty tomorrow". Nicola said to The Tardis. "Thanks for listening". She continued, "What are friends for"? "The Tardis said with a smile. "Too share the burden each other has". Nicola smiled. "You know if you've got a burden or any other problems, any at all come straight to me and we will have a girlie chat, just the two of us". She said and saw the Tardis fade slowly back to her nice green colour. "Alright I will, thanks". She said to Nicola. "Are you going to go back to your body"? Asked the Tardis. "I think I’ll stay like this for a bit longer, no morning sickness". She said and they both laughed. "I've got a secret Nicola". She said moving closer to Nicola. "If I tell you can you keep it to yourself". She continued. "I promise, what is it"? Nicola asked. "Us TARDIS's was grown in The Doctor's world of Gallifrey". Explained the Tardis. "I've got a Baby Tardis growing in the library and when she's fully grown, you can have her". She continued. "Please don't tell him yet (Meaning The Doctor), I'll tell him when the time is right". She said to Nicola. Nicola nodded. "Oh wow, what's she look like? Don’t worry I won't say a word to him". Nicola said. With a smile the Tardis said, "follow me and I will show you". They both floated towards the hallway to the library, Nicola followed as The Tardis lead her inside and up to a table with a little music box on top of it. "Here she is. I need your help in helping her to grow bigger". Tardis said looking at Nicola. "What? I'd do anything to help you and your daughter. After all that is what she is, as your growing her". Nicola said with a grin. "It feels like we're both pregnant". She laughed "I need you to move her to a different part of the ship as she'll change her form once every month, the move will help her to get taller". The Tardis said. "She won't be heavy, will she"? Nicola asked thinking about her baby growing inside her. "Maybe when she gets bigger, but not at the moment, no". The Tardis answered. "Ok, I’ll do it. But when I start getting bigger myself, you have to tell the doctor, about little Tardis, ok". Nicola said. "Ok". Tardis said.
Nicola remembers the Doctor giving her a key to for this Tardis and thought. "Tardis, the Doctor gave me a key to get in and out of you, what about junior Tardis, in the library"? She asked her friend, who said, "When you first touch baby Tardis, two keys will appear in your hands". Nicola nodded,
"I better go back, your secrets safe with me, honey". She said to the Tardis. "Thanks". Thanked the Tardis with a smile. "Just do me a favour, when I move her. Make sure the Doctor is to busy in the control room or doing something else please". She asked hugging the Tardis. who nodded?
