Bleeding


The Doctor took Nicola into his arms and kissed her. “I’ll teach you how to read her signals soon, honey”. He told her, who smiled at him. “I’ll talk to you like this until you learn”. The TARDIS said in the back of her mind. “Ok, Thank you”. Nicola said out loud and told her love what the TARDIS has just said to her. “She likes you”. He told her. Nicola smiled “I like her too”. Nicola said to him. “Apart from my sister Kim and my Brother in-law Tom, she’s my first true friend and you know what I feel like doing”. She said to him. He shook his head ‘no’ “running around, jumping up and down, crying, laughing and pulling my hair out. Cause I can’t believe how lucky I am. Oh! I am sooo Happy”. She said spinning around. “I’m the luckiest man around, Hun. It’s you who’s swept me off my feet”. He said walking over to her and giving her a kiss and cuddle. Then he walked back to the consol and pulling and twanging and stuff.
Nicola watched him working with a smile as she sat at the captain’s chair. She had a burning question to ask him something, but every time she plucked up the willpower to ask him, she bottled out of it. (She wanted to learn how to fly The TARDIS). In the end she gave up. “I need the loo Hun”. She said as she got up and walked over to him and kissed him. He nodded. “ ’You ok”? He asked concerned, “I’m fine”. She said and she walked out of the control room and walked to their bedroom. She went in and used their toilet, as she pulled her knickers down, she saw a lot of blood on them, that she screamed in panic. “What’s the matter Nic”? The TARDIS asked her. “Can you get The Doctor, tell him to hurry”. She cried desperately. “I think I’m losing the baby”. She said crying out loud, she fell to the floor and put her hands around her tummy. "Please be alright". she cried. "He's coming Nic". The Tardis said to her sounding concerned for her friend. The Doctor came running into the bathroom and saw Nic on the floor covered in blood crying and cuddling her belly. she looked up at him, "Please, save it". and she passed out.
And a few minutes later she woke up to fine herself on the massive bed in their room.
She looked around her and saw the Doctor sitting on the bed next to her, “Hun”. She whispered. Making him look up. “Oh! Honey, your awake thank God”. He said taking her little hand into his big hands. “I…Is”. She couldn’t say it and started crying. “The Baby is going to be fine. I forgot to tell you, a Time-Lady has two of everything, two hearts, two stomachs and two wombs, when one womb is occupied the other continues with periods and such. The baby goes unharmed”. He told her with tears. “But”. She could tell there was a ‘but’. “But, it can be painful to you and can leave you weak from all the blood coming out”. He said to her. “How long does this go on for”? She asked. “Not long, a week and then again next month”. He told her, and then he kissed her. “I guess I’ll stay here then”. She said with a smile and pulling him closer to her.
“Help me to the loo please, Hun”. She said trying to get up, he helped her to the toilet, and while Nicola was sitting on the loo, she put three sanitary towels in her knickers. When she was done she got up; flushed the toilet. The Doctor came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She closed her eyes at the nice feeling. The Doctor turned her around and kissed her then he bent down and kissed her tummy, he then stroked it. “Come on, sweetheart”. He said leading her back to bed. “I want you to have as much sleep as you can get”. He told her as he tucked her in, Nicola grinned. “Ok, but when I get better you teach me how to fly my friend”. She said to him with a smile, he gave her a smile back. “We’ll see. You get better first and then we’ll talk about it some more”. He said kissing her. “Ok, Hun”. And slipped down and closed her eyes. “Have a nice kip, Hun”. He said kissing her forehead. “Thanks my sexy hunk”. She whispered and wrapped her arms around his neck.
