.
Susan was totally confused. For some reason thoughts of Lorien entered her mind. He had saved John's life, quite literally. He had done the unthinkable. It had been a real life miracle to her.

"Computer play message from Marcus Cole on Babcom unit." His cheerful
and smiling face appeared on screen.

"Good morning Susan. Just informing you that I've received some rather
unusual information about a coming Shadow attack on Nexus 47 colony. I
had thought you would want to join me in checking this out. Unless duties do not permit, I will assume you will be meeting me in Docking Bay 12, Whitestar 9 at 0615 today."

The message ended. Susan Ivanova who prided herself on knowing about
everything that went on, on this station had absolutely no idea what
was happening. Unless.....

"Computer what is today's Earth date?"
"Today's Earth date is June 16th."
"And what is the Earth year?"
"The Earth Year is 2060."

She thought. She stopped thinking about it long enough to look for other proof.
Literally running to the bathroom, she looked at herself in the mirror.
Though officially 'recovered' she still had bruising on her face and neck.
At least she should have. Her face and neck were clear. The dark
circles under her eyes, outward signs of her distress over Marcus, were
no longer there either.
Again, words spoken to Stephen in what must have been a dream came back
to her. (I could've tried one more time. I could've done that for him. Now I can't.)
"The hell I can't," she thought smiling like a fool.

Susan walked back over to her communications console. "Computer, send
message to Marcus Cole, audio only."
"Ready," the computer answered.
"Marcus I will meet you onboard Whitestar 39 at 0615 SHARP. If you
are late I will leave without you. Ivanova out." She smirked. she mused.
She practically danced in her shower. Never had she felt this uneasy,
on edge, or alive before. If she had dreamed the future then she certainly remembered going on this mission. It was essential to confirm Marcus' source of information was correct.

Marcus and the Minbari crew of Whitestarwerewere ready and awaiting her arrival when she stepped onto the bridge.
"Good morning Susan," he said as he came bounding over to greet her arrival.
she thought,
"I see nothing good about it" she snorted, and took her seat.
He relayed her orders to depart and they left the station docking, and entered a jump point.
"Our estimated time of arl isl is 2 hours and 25 minutes Commander,"
Marcus reported. But Susan wasn't listening. She heard only the sound of his voice, and felt her heart leap for joy.
When she didn't immediately respond, Marcus figured she was just
ignoring him again. , he decided.

Her newly discovered feelings for the Ranger coupled with her mild
telepathic abilities, enabled her to 'feel' him looking at her.
Without actually intending to do so, Susan swung her chair around to
face Marcus, catching him watching her before he could turn his head. He colored a deep shade of red at being caught and was actually fearful of her reaction. And yet..........she wasn't reacting at all the way he thought she might.
Susan Ivanova, sometime Ice Queen of Babylon 5, was smiling at him
quite warmly. On her face was a mixture of curiosity and mirth.
Marcus thought.
