Chapter 2
Eugh, he was doing it again.. staring at me.. with those hungry, smoldering brown eyes that nearly made me shiver from their intensity. Oh how I wish he wouldn't.. it was difficult enough to pretend to ignore his heavy, masculine presence that so often distracted me, during court, during recess.. in the cafeteria.. all together he made me feel like such a child, but I couldn't help that strong surge of attraction to that snake with legs. At least the court session only had about a half hour left, just thirty minutes left of that silken baritone voice of his.. that knowing smile when he looked me up and down.. I swear he could read every one of my thoughts, see each and every fantasy in the back of my mind, and I couldn't stand him for it. "Oh Miss Miller.. moment of your time?" Thankfully, my back was turned when the very man I was inwardly fussing over called for me from his desk, biting my lip sharply to keep my calm composure I turned slowly and made my way towards him, making sure to sway my hips slightly from side to side.. that would show him he wasn't toying with a little girl. "Yes, Mr.Fielding?" "So polite.. some of the other pages could learn a lesson from you.. anyway, I was wondering.. since you always seem to sit with Harry and the rest of your employers, why not sit with me sometime?" That fresh beast..
