True Chapter One

Title: Were You Ever A Dreamer.

Inspired by: Vox Populi by 30 Seconds To Mars.

Author: Me.

Pairings: Godric/Prue, Sookie/Eric, Wyatt/Tara, Chris/Sam, Jason/Pandora, Bill/Porsche, Jessica/Hoyt, Arlene/Terry, Dylan/Lafayette.

NOTES: Will have Piper/Leo bashing. I had to give the kids a reason to move to Bon Temps, so making Piper and Leo despise their youngest, calling her a freak cause she had so many powers, was the easiest way I could think of.

Chapter One:

Prue looked around her room. Penny had helped her design it. Especially after the teen had found out about Godric. There were beautiful silk screens blocking the private stairs that led down to Prue's study. Two more screens, next to one side of the stairs' screens, that closed off an area for a large wall-mounted big screen tv. Along with pillows to laze about on. On the other side of the room was her bed. One of the biggest beds she could find and it was hidden by silk screens. On the other side of the room from her bed, was her desk. On the side of her room where her tv was, was her private bathroom. It had a walk-in shower AND a tub. On the other side of the wall, of the walk-in shower, was the toilet and sink. She had a lot of windows, but, thankfully, they were treated with the same stuff that every other window in the house had. She had her Merlotte's uniform hanging on the wall by her bed. A pair of platforms, to match the shorts, sat on a shelf next to where the uniform hung. She had art on every bit of available wall space, except for that around her bed. That's where she kept her posters.

How Penny found out about Godric was funny. It was on the girl's seventh birthday, when she went looking for her cousin. The party was at night, which confused Phoebe and Coop. But, with as much seriousness as a 7 year old could manage, Penny put up the good point that a lot of her friends were fairies and other magical creatures. Creatures that couldn't very well be out in broad daylight like that. Penny also whispered to her dad, that it would be easier for Prue's secret boyfriend to come to the party. And when the little girl went to look for Prue, she found her in the backyard, making out with Godric. Penny, much like Arlene Fowler's kids, didn't flinch when in the face of a vampire and asked Godric if she could see his fangs. Prue had been with Godric since she was 16.

Prue stopped in front of her stereo, which sat diagonally, in front of one of the silk screens blocking her bed. She pushed play and smiled. She sighed as the piano intro to Backstreet Boys' Incomplete started. She looked over to her desk, where pictures ranging from age 16 to 24, that she'd taken with Godric, sat. Prue knew what Godric was from day one, before he'd ever got the balls to tell her himself. She picked up the last picture she took with him, a strip of pictures from a photo booth. And in every one, they were kissing. In the first one, it was an innocent kiss. The second one, she had her arms around his neck. And in the third one, she was flipping off the camera, with one arm still around his neck. Godric had actually laughed at that one.

She walked across the room, to the couch she had closed off with more silk screens and sat down. She laid on her side, curling up in a ball, with the framed picture strip in her grip. Penny lifted her head and sighed softly. Wyatt looked to his cousin, who seemed to be staring off into space.

"Prue's being depressed again," She told Wyatt.

Wyatt sighed and sat back, after setting aside the paper work for the high school.

"Can you tell me why, Pen?" He asked carefully, "the others aren't in here to hear you."

Penny bit her lip and decided to take the leap.

"Prue's been mated to a vampire since she was 16," Penny blurted out, "I found them making out in the backyard at my 7th birthday party. A year ago..." Penny looked out one of the many windows of Wyatt's study, curling up in her chair, "a year ago, he had to go back to Dallas..."

Wyatt rubbed the bridge of his nose, wondering why Prue never told her himself.

"She's scared, Wy," Penny spoke in a small voice, "she hasn't heard from Godric since he left. And after what happened to the Newlins..." Penny shook her head, "she feared for him more."

Wyatt rubbed the back of his neck, rotating it in the hopes it would pop.

"Do you know if he has a Childe nearby?" He asked.

Penny laughed, "How do you think she got the cameras in Fangtasia?" the teen kept snickering, "Godric's only Childe OWNS Fangtasia."

Eric had no idea what was coming. But Pam did. She was loving it, keeping it from him. And, oh boy, did it piss him off. Pam stole Isabelle's number from Eric's office and called the woman, on her own cell, outside of the club.

"What do you want, Pam?" Isabelle sighed.

"Just say yes or no if Godric's in the room," Pam spoke.

Isabelle took a small pause before replying to the affirmative.

"Put it on speakerphone," Pam spoke again, not listening to Isabelle's protest, "just do it."

After a moment, Isabelle put it on speaker.

"You're on, Pam," Isabelle grumped.

Pam chuckled, "Good," then spoke again, "You are dead fucking meat, Godric, when the Twice Blessed gets ahold of you. Did you honestly think you could mate his baby sister, then leave her hanging for a year? With no word, not a hello, fuck you, or ANYTHING?"

Isabelle laughed silently at the petrified look on Godric's face.

Penny, Pandora and Dylan managed to haul the depressed Prue off her couch, Dylan laying the picture on one of the pillows on Prue's bed. They left so that Prue could dress, since they were starting work that evening. Prue dressed with no idea what Penny and Wyatt had done. Sam gravitated around the bar. The two new girls were supposed to be starting. The brother of the older of the two okay'ed it for all of them to be there. When Sam asked why, the guy said that he and 'Prue's baby cousin had called out of state, in hopes of reuniting Prue with her boyfriend, who had been out of contact for a year.

"Uh, Sam..." Tara's voice shook him from his thoughts.

"What?" He sighed, ducking behind the bar to get a towel.

"What did you say the new girls looked like?" Tara replied, "cause...damn..."

Sam turned to see the two. One was definitely over 6 feet tall, blonde hair, pale tan, and almost dead, depressed blue eyes. That had to have been Prue, Sam had guessed silently. The other was a considerably shorter, warm faced, and smiling brunette. Pandora pinched Prue, the tall blonde glaring down at her cousin. The shoes made her 6' 6" tall. Men were already starting to stare at her toned legs. Dylan walked in behind them, putting an arm over Pandora's shoulder. Wyatt, Chris, Penny, Patty, Junior, Porsche, and Petal following afterward. Wyatt, Chris, Junior and Dylan hearded Penny, Patty, Porsche and Petal to a couple of booths, letting Prue and Pandora go talk to Sam. More accurately, Pandora did the talking. Prue just stood there and looked around. She'd felt a vampire nearby the second they entered, seeing a black haired man with a blonde mind reader. The girl looking at him.

He's a country boy, isn't he? Sookie heard from the tall blonde girl. Sookie nodded to her and the girl rolled her eyes and chuckled mentally. Prue looked back to Pandora, after the girl nudged her.

"Sam here's a canine shifter," Pandora whispered to her.

Prue chuckled, smiling genuinely.

"Cool," She cocked her head, "we should go for a run sometime."

Sam chuckled.
