Horatio
This isn't love. This isn't how a man is supposed to be towards his child. I don't feel like one of those men either. When I look at my son, I see my son. The demon, when it takes hold, would beg to differ, though. I'm not me in those moments, but I know Kyle doesn't realize that. He thinks it's actually me doing these things.
But it is me. It's all me, isn't it? When I tell him I love him, he's not aware that I mean it the way I'm supposed to. But what can I do? He's deluded himself. He's in too deep. He's too close to me, but at the same time he's slipping away.
My fate is to lose, be denied, or destroy love.
Lose Marisole.
Be denied Yelina, despite our circumstances now.
Destroy my bond with Kyle.
