Wish Today was Just like Every Other Day
That night she felt the need to take a long hot shower, she had to get some stuff straightened out in her mind. Well one a name for him, maybe he could pick one out. She thought opening her bathroom door to be surprised by her new guest.
"OHH My god, I am sorry! Uh,-
"Hello dearie! Hope you don't mind me usin' your razor?" He teased standing in a bright pink towel,which was wrapped ever so well around his waist. He had the lines that drove most women wild on his stomach. She blushed and tried not to look but he was so gorgeous naked...well kind of naked.
He knew she was impressed, he always knew he was good looking. That didn't seem to change from doctor to doctor. She went to speak but stumbled over her words, he leaned forward and smiled real big.
"Docto-I mean...Oh god...sorry." She covered her mouth. His eyebrows furrowed at her expression, he stepped forward and set the razor down on the marble counter behind him. He leaned forward.
"Rose, shh" He hushed " You can call me what eva' you like." He leaned in cocking his eyebrow. His eyes were filled with excitement. Not sexual excitement, but he was brand new again. All over, that feeling of adventure was alive in him.
She laughed and looked up to him " So you are kind of like...when I first met him? The doctor, well the..you know what I mean?" She motioned.
"I am, yes I am new. Very, very new. BUT!" His eyes perked up " I still have all the memories he had in his brain up into he made me." He corrected clicking his tongue, he tossed in a wink to charm her.
She smiled big " So you remember everything we did?" She smiled.
"Yup" He nodded.
"Where were we trying to go when we went to 1800's and met queen victoria?" She asked biting her lower lip.
He smiled and laughed, " 1979." He cocked his eyebrow again an sat back up.
"You do remember..." She exclaimed happily.
"Told ya'" He winked going back to the mirror to shave.
"Doctor I, I'm...mean..." She covered her mouth and felt the tears welling up again. He sighed and walked over to her. He was still dripping from his shower.
He wrapped his warm hands around her shoulder and leaned in. " Rose, I know this might take time getting used to. Its going to take some time for me as well" he paused, laughing " You can call me what ever you like.Since really I didn't have a name when you were-
"David...what do you think of that?" She blurted out.
"David...well...I like it. It kind of fits me, you know?" He smiled trying to get her to aswell.
She looked up and smiled " Yeah it does have a ring to it." She smiled cheekily.
