Chapter 2
Between
kisses and caresses, they jumped into Clark’s bed and took off their clothes
with the same rush as they got there. Lois arched her back so Clark could pull
off her jeans as he threw them to the floor.
looked at him and smiled before taking off her tank top and bra and helping
him to take off his shirt and jeans. They sat closer as Clark pulled her into
his arms and gave her a deepening kiss. He never thought their relationship
would change so much in the last few months. They had went from friends to partners
at the Daily Planet. From partners to a couple which easily jumped to lovers.
Clark never felt so happy and at peace in his life. It was as if he took all
the weight he was carrying on his shoulders in the last years and could finally
be happy. And Lois was the reason he was so happy.Lois
was the reason he was smiling most of the time lately and for no reason at all.

it did.” Lois’ smile betrayed her. She couldn’t stop smiling
and couldn’t stop her sighs. She was too happy and nothing in this world
could change that. “So, you guys spent the night here?”“Since
you were with Clark, we figured it was the best chance to have the apartment
for ourselves.” Chloe explained with a grin. “It’s okay, isn’t?”“Of
course it is, cuz.” Lois said with a smile before hugging Chloe. “But
a little warning would be good when I’m not here. You know… I don’t
want to catch you guys in… awkward situations.”“Well,
you wouldn’t. We just watched TV.” Jimmy explained with a dorky smile.
“Right.”
Lois crossed her arms with a suspicious look. “It’s okay, Jimmy. I
know you two are sleeping together. It’s no big deal.”“But
it’s true, Lois. We only watched TV this time.” Chloe explained with
a dorky smirk. “Jimmy brought The Big Sleep DVD for us to watch.
Because the surprise he tried to do for me seven months ago, didn’t work
out since Lana was shut out and…”“Oh.
Really? You had the apartment all to yourselves and all you did was watch TV?”
Lois teased Chloe with a smirk. “Lois…”
“I’m
joking. I’m joking.” Lois laughed with a smile. “God, nobody
understands a good joke anymore? Anyway, I’ll go to my room because I’m
really tired.”“Really?”
Chloe raised her eyebrow with a mischievous smile. “Looks like your night
was a good one.”“You
have no idea.” Lois answered before noticing Jimmy was still there. “Anyway,
I will fill you in later. I’m really tired.” She walked to her room
before slamming the door.She
jumped on her bed feeling exhausted and was already missing Clark. Why in the
hell does he make me feel like this already? I was with him only five minutes
ago. Lois was lost in her thoughts when she heard a loud noise. She noticed
something fall into her room from the sky leaving a hole in the ceiling. “What
the…” She frowned and looked at the thing that was on the floor. It
was some kind of ancient artifact that she had never seen anything like before.
Even in museums. She approached it to take a closer look and noticed the thing
had an oval red shape making Lois wondering what it was. Suddenly
the artifact opened letting a red smoke fill the room. The smoke entered Lois’s
lungs and was absorbed into her body making her cough for a while before she
