“The girl in the last shuttle just asked about the war.” The teck who monitored these things announced to his supervisor. It was taboo to talk about the War for good reason. The last thing anyone needed was for the planet to be labeled oppressors. All trade and tourism would stop. It’s probably why the royal family didn’t even know the truth any more.

“Let me see them.” He said. A few seconds later he was scrutinizing them. “Where did they was they were from?”

“Intergalactic safety commission, cave department is what he told me. He had the papers and badge sir I saw them.” The lady who had let them in said.

“Obviously a week minded woman couldn’t tell fakes from the real thing. I know everyone who works that department. I send them gifts and cards each holiday my children play with theirs and it’s all for a very good reason so I know my enemy. He is not who he says he is.” His eye scanned the two girls for a second. “Perhaps the false Safety commissioner should have an accident befitting as that is what he is checking for. Make sure he dies and bring the girls to me. I know some influential men whose taste runs along their lines. I usually don’t go into the slave market but we do what we can.” There was some laughing as switches were flipped.

“If they were fighting another planet it would be listed in the intergalactic records of wars and it’s not.” The shuttle shuddered and started down a side cave instead of following the rest of the shuttles. “Maybe they were fighting them selves.”

“Umm Doctor.” Cat said as she got a bad feeling the shuttle was starting to pick up speed.

“But why call it the Great War then and not just the civil war. They could have even called it the great civil war.” He continued thinking out load not paying attention.

“DAD.” Jenny yelled at him as they took a down ward plunge.

“What?” He said looking around as the shuttle gained even more speed and started scrapping the wall on Jenny’s side. “Oh, we’re in trouble. Why didn’t you just say so? It’s about time things got interesting.” He finely said as they were going at extreme speeds now. They hit a crystal stalagmite and sent it flying up where in came down point first between Cat and Jenny. “That’s not good.” He said pushing the safety release.

“No shit Sherlock!” Cat screamed. “It shorted out the circuits on our seats.” She sent him a glare.

“This is no way my fault.” He said at receiving that look which he had gotten enough times from Donna to know what she was thinking.

“Well neither one of us have been here before to tick someone off.” Cat said before looking at Jenny. “Jen on the count of three lift.” At Jenny’s nod of understanding Cat started to count. “One, Two, Three.” Jen lifted on the safety bar while Cat pushed on the Crystal. It suddenly let lose with enough force to put Cat in the Doctors lap. “Not one word it worked.” She hissed at him as she stood up.

“Not even brilliant? I mean you used the crystal that had cut the wires as a temporary bridge to weaken the safety locks enough to get us out.” He asked with a smile earning him a glare as he then dropped to the floor with his screw driver and went to work on the panels under the consol.

“Well Crystals have been used in computer chips and can hold vast amounts of information just thought it might work.” Cat said trying to sound all smart like him in realty she was just trying to knock the seat bar loose.

“Might want to hurry it up a bit.” Jenny said right before they careened into another wall sending Cat and Jenny to the floor on top on the Doctor.

“Working on it, Get off me and it’ll go faster, just need to disengage the supremacy Overdrive, shift the trans lift wires with the thrust converter and stop this run away train.” Unfortunately what ever he did, not only stopped their ride it opened the window and sent all three of them flying in opposite directions. The force of the crash sent several stalactites crashing to the floor effectively blocking the cave. “Everyone unhurt?” The Doctor asked standing up and brushing him self off while scanning the area for anyone unconscious. That seamed to happen a lot to woman around him the whole getting knocked out thing that is.

“Oww, Slightly hurt but alive here.” Jenny stated slowly standing up and rubbing her shoulder rotating it a bit.

“Cat?” The Doctor yelled looking around not seeing the girl.

“Fine but on the other side of the cave in.” Cat shouted glaring at the wall of Crystals cutting her off from the rest of her companions. “I know I was annoying you two and a burden but you didn’t have to build a wall between us.”

“Very funny Cat.” Jenny grumbled. “If it hadn’t been for you I’d probably never have hooked up with my own father again.

“I thought it was funny.” Cat said with a chuckle.

“Hold on we’ll get you out.” He said jumping over some debris to face the obstacle he had to over come. “Can’t lose you yet Cat I haven’t solved the mystery that is you.”

“Really comforting Doctor to know I mean so much to you. Just brings tears to my eyes.” Cat sighed until she heard a shifting of debris behind her. Turning around she scanned the area looking for the source of the noise. “Is anyone there?” She asked loudly so the Doctor and Jenny could hear her. All of a sudden a large Crystal mass on the side of the cave moved rather quickly causing her to scream before it grabbed her and silenced her.

“Cat!” Jenny screamed at hearing the other girls scream. The Doctor quickly scanned the area looking for a way to his other companion when the sound of weapons powering up reached his ears.

“You need not worry about your friend. The Crystlitis have a tendency to keep there captives alive to breed with. You two on the other hand are about to meet you end in a very nasty and rare cave accident.” The well dressed business man said as he stood in front of about ten armed guards.

Jenny turned to look at he father and gave him a wink. “I can’t believe you. This is your entire fault, getting us killed!” She yelled at him.

“What? How is this, my fault?” He asked confused as she backed up toward the guards.

“Well you’ve been here before right? Or was that a lie too. Said this was routine. That you just had to check things out and we would have a nice holiday.” She yelled now almost in the middle of the group of men that were watching with amusement on there faces.

“Aww Well let me tell you, You spoiled little brat if you had listened the last time we were together you wouldn’t be so ignorant and be an actual help on this instead of just being in the way.” He yelled back advancing on her like any angry father would do until he was once again right in front of her and they were both surrounded by the army. “But you know what it’s all good because I know something about you these men do not.”

“Yea what is that Father!” She yelled at him.

“That you are really good at fighting. NOW!” He said turning his screw driver to take out as many guns as he could while she spun and knocked one out of another’s hand before flipping and relieving more of the soldiers from their weapons. Once a whole was cleared he grabbed her hand and pulled. “Now we run!”

“Yay more running.” She said as they ran down the corridor and ducked around a bend.

Cat sat next to the wall of the cavern she had been dragged to staring at the creature in front of her. It was at lest seven feet tall and though it looked humanoid it was also slightly transparent and rose colored like it was made out of crystals. He, as she was pretty sure it was a he, sifted forward and held his hand out to her. Sitting on his palm was a very detailed carved statue made out of crystal. She couldn’t help it she inched forward to look at it closer, a gasp escaped her lips when she realized it was a carving of her, The Doctor and Jenny sitting in the shuttle.

“Oh it’s beautiful.” Cat said smiling. “May I?” She asked reaching for it. He nodded his head and pushed it toward her.

“My brother likes you.” A voice said that almost sounded like bells tinkling. The girl that stepped out from behind the large guy was astonishing. She looked almost completely human but her skin was rose colored and her hair looked like it was made out of strands of amethyst. “Our men were created for strength and fighting so speech was denied them. They communicate with us through telepathy.” The girl explained she walked over to Cat.

“Well thanks I think but I really need to get back to my friends.” Cat said pleadingly.

“Oh I’m sorry but the evil ones army was on the move. More then likely your friends are dead.” She said sadly. “They kill anyone who goes of the main caverns. It’s been like this since they drove us off the surface to this under ground prison.”

“Well I still need to try to find them.” She pleaded looking from the girl to her brother. “You see ones a fighter and the other one is really smart if anyone can escape these bad guys you speak of it would be them.”

‘Then we shale search for them but if they are dead would you at lest consider staying with me as my wife.’ Cat heard in her head.

“My brother says…”

“I heard what he said. I will give that honor great consideration if my friends are in fact dead.” She responded and laughed lightly as it was obvious he puffed up his chest at what she had said.

“How did you hear my brother?” The girl asked her with wide eyes.

“I have no idea. Which means the Doctor can’t be dead because he’d be upset about dieing before figuring me out.” Cat laughed causing the girl to smile and stand up.

“Well lets not keep this Doctor of yours waiting. To have capture the heart of a woman such as your self he must be a great man.” She said.

“Oh were not together or anything like that. Just friends.” Cat quickly corrected. “By the way my name is Cat.”

“And I am Ame my brother is Cyro.” She said as they started heading down a corridor.

“I think we lost them.” Jenny said as they stopped yet neither of them looked tired.

“Yea now how to find Cat?” The Doctor mumbled to himself.

“Well you’ve scanned her enough, you even did it once with you sonic screw driver.” He looked at her knowing where she was going but if he interrupted her she might stop stating her opinions and he’d never know if she was learning. “Can’t you scan for her unique energy field?”

“Yes but Crystal, which this entire planet is made of has an energy field as well. It would just drown out hers no matter how powerful Cat’s is.” The Doctor informed her stirring the pot a little to make her think.

“Could we boost it? Use the cables whirred through the caves for the tours as a make shift booster. I mean they have metal and power they should be able to work as an high powered antenna.”

He smiled at her. “That’s my girl. Not as fancy as I usually make it sound but it works.” He laughed. “To bad I didn’t grab some parts from the wreck to make a portable scanning device.”

“Let’s see you’d need a monitor, a power supply, wires and converter.” Jenny said. “Like everything found in the new high power guns they were using.” She said handing one of said guns over.

“Brilliant!” He said hugging her before proceeding to take apart the gun. “See your obsession for weapons came in handy for once.”

“Still waiting for your obsession of women to come in handy.” Jenny said with a smile.

“Hey!” He said before shacking his head. “Anyhow we have a signal. This way.” He said marching down another tunnel.

“This way.” Cat said turning down another tunnel.

“How can you tell?” Ame asked as they followed her.

“Kind of like a pull in my stomach.” She answered throwing a smile over her shoulder.

“Good you can lead us to your friends.” The man in the suit said as he stepped out in front of her with ten guards that were in different states of hurt. “I’m surprised at you Ame. You and your brother usually keep your people away from are areas as you know the penalty.” At this the men took aim at her.

“No.” Cat said a second before she felt her self be picked up and everything went blurry. She couldn’t breath it was like and felt like everything was pushing against her. Knowledge that she was moving didn’t help the feeling that she couldn’t move. With in seconds they were in another cavern and she was gasping for air.

“Cyro you know phasing while carrying someone else tires you let alone two beings. What were you thinking?” Ame said chiding her brother who was laying on the floor.

“He can rest for a bit but we all know they’ll be after us. We have to keep moving.” Cat said looking around. “Total of eleven guys, one leader no gun, two others didn’t have a gun either and all ten solders were pretty beat up. Means they had a run in with Jenny and she is still alive and if she is still alive The Doctor is still alive. They should be trying to find me so I need to help them find me.”

“We must also warn our tribe. By Cyro saving you from them and us being in their caves it was declaring war again. There are not enough of us this time to stand much of a chance. We’ll be whipped out.” Ame informed her.

“Oh I’m sorry. Why didn’t you leave me then instead of bring this down on your self?” Cat asked looking worriedly at the two.

“It is not our way.” Ame said with a smile. “We help those in need and with Cyro already courting you he has to prove to you he can protect you and provide for you if you chose to stay with us.”

“Oh.” Cat said softly. “Well then there is only one thing to do.” When Ame looked at her she smiled. “Fix this messed up planet so your people can live in harmony with the others. Or move their ass off world I haven’t decided which yet.”

“My brother says he has chosen his future wife well as you will make a good leader to our people.” Ame said though Cat was blushing.

“Trust me dear that is not all he said.” Cat said softly blushing even harder. “Anyhow right must find The Doctor. Umm. He’s taken several scans of me says I’m unique….. Stop saying stuff like that while I’m trying to think.” She said turning to chide Cyro who made a noise that almost sounded like a laugh.

“He says your blush is cute.” Ame informed her.

“Anyhow.” Cat said trying to focus. “He said my energy field was close to his own and I can hear your brothers telepathy. Maybe if I focus I can send a telepathic message to him or at lest boost my field so he can hone on it better.”

“Then just think at him very hard. Imagine what you want to say is compacted into a little ball and throw it at him with all you might.” Ame explained.

“Sounds easy enough.” Cat said.

“We are born with telepathy and use it our entire lives. For you it wont be easy and can hurt.” Ame said slightly worried.

“Could of kept that to your self until I was finished.” Cat said before sitting down on the floor and closing her eyes. Trying to keep it simple she thought of only one word and sent it. ‘Trouble.’

‘Trouble!’ Was the thought the Doctor suddenly got hit with like a tone of bricks causing him to stop and rub his head and blink a couple of times. “Ow.”

“Dad you okay?” Jenny asked.

“Yea just remind me to get Cat telepathy lessons before she kills me with the power of her mind.” He grumbled his eyes widening a bit. “Good news is we were able to get a lock on her. Bad news is she said Trouble which means either the locals aren’t friendly or she ran into our friends you gave black eyes too.”

“Well let’s get to her and find out.” Jenny said pushing him in the shoulder so he would get moving.

“I have a feeling your little friend draws trouble to her.” The Doctor said.

“Doesn’t everyone who travels with you?” Jenny asked.

“Well yes but don’t spread that around wouldn’t want anyone to know.” He said smiling as they kept moving.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.” She said rolling her eyes.

Cat almost passed out from trying to send the message she could only help they had received it. Opening her eyes she came face to barrel with a gun. “Sorry dear no escaping this time.” The one she had dubbed ass said.

“Really? Here I thought you were normally thick headed enough to let anyone escape you. Maybe it’s just your dumb.” This comment earned her a slap that sent her across the cave floor.

“Very funny now I suggest you behave or I’ll have to kill your friends here.” He said pointing to Ame how was kneeling next to an injured Cyro. “I must say he tried to protect you. Never thought the beast had it in him.”

“I only see one best here and it’s so not him.” Cat hissed glaring at him earning her another slap.

“Oh you see I never thought hitting a woman was a sign of a man. Though someone might be tempted with her mouth but really there are just so many more important things then her, like the meaning of life, the Universe and everything in it, or where to get really good Fish and chips.” The Doctor said leaning on the wall at the entrance to the cavern.

“Really Doctor I think I’m a little higher than the Fish and chips.” Cat said spitting out blood from her split lip.

“Doctor is it?” The Ass said ignoring their conversation. “Why did you come here? You one of those do gooders all set on helping the Crystallites rise above their oppression?”

“No actually we came to see the caverns and have some fun but since you pointed it out.. Why not!” The Doctor said. “So easy way, you put down your guns and try to work something out with them. You know maybe give them half the planet you take the other half start trade and all that good stuff. Or we can do the hard way where you get hurt and your government ends up falling.”

“Well Doctor you don’t give me much options do you? You seam so sure of your self yet I’m the one with the guns.” Ass stated.

“Yes but see I have a secret weapon.” The Doctor said smiling. “Well two no make it three secret weapons that is.”

“Oh and what would that be?” Ass questioned.

“Well there is my Daughter she has a thing for guns and was created for fighting loves it even. Big disappointment to me you can understand.” He answered.

“Thanks Dad, love you too.” Jenny said stepping out from behind him with her gun drawn.

“Also several years back your ruling family had a nasty problem with a parasitic bug that was controlling them. Took care of that for me and they owe me. I’m sure they don’t know what is going on down here or they would have stepped in by now.” The Doctor said still smiling.

“Yes Doctor they have no idea that my men keep the locals in line and steal there beautiful art for sell in my gift shops and they’ll never know as you’ll never get out of here to tell them.” Ass said.

‘Send them a message like you sent me.’ Cat heard in her head at the same moment the Doctor made eye contact. “Yet you’re forgetting my third secret weapon.” The Doctor stated moving his head to the right keeping their attention on him while Cat slipped into a sitting position.

“And what would that be please enlighten us.” He said smirking as if he didn’t believe The Doctor had anything.

“Her.” The Doctor said cocking his head twored Cat.

‘Leave them alone!’ Cat shouted at them with all her might and just them. She managed to see them all clutching there heads and falling to the ground right before she passed out.

Cat blinked and looked around an unfamiliar room and groaned. It felt like someone was splitting her head open with a jack hammer. “Hey now sit up slowly.” Jenny said helping her up into a sitting position.

“Where am I?” Cat asked.

“The royal palace of New New Tokyo. Dad is handling the talks between the royal family and Ame who is acting as spokes woman of her people.” Jenny said with a smile handing her a glass of water. “Tall and brooding over there hasn’t left your side. He looked like he was going to crush dad when he carried you here.”

“The Doctor carried me here?” Cat said rubbing the back of her neck.

“Yes after examined you to make sure you didn’t blow out your brain. He only meant to stun them you knocked them out cold and the leader well lets just say he’s in a comma. He carried you here but tall and lurking over there followed and hasn’t let you out of his sight.” Jenny explained.

“His name is Cyro and he basically purposed to me.” Cat admitted with a slight blush.

“Ah well poor devil have to explained to him that your already committed to us maybe after we get you figured out I’ll help plan the wedding. If you still want to that is.” The Doctor said coming into the room smiling before running and jumping on Cat’s bed. “Have I told you your brilliant lately?”

“Not in the last couple hours.” Cat said laughing lightly at his enthusiasm.

“Well your brilliant. Knocked out eleven men with the power of your mind. Some training and I’d bet you could use telepathy like someone born to it plus who knows what other little tricks are still hiding in the brilliant mind of yours.” He said kissing her forehead causing her to wince.

“Not so load or fast. This is worse then having a hangover.” Cat grumbled.

“It’s side effects of using something never been used before on such a large amount of people. It’ll pass and the more you use it the less it’ll hurt.” The Doctor informed her. “Anyhow everyone has agreed to a blending of the two societies on this planet. Slowly over time so as not to frighten the populace. Everything will be fine here now so as soon as your ready Cat we can be off.”

“Oh poor Cat that means you have to say goodbye to your boyfriend.” Jenny teased.

“Be careful Jenny one might think your jealous.” Cat said smacking her arm lightly.

“Come now Jenny lets leave the two love birds alone.” The Doctor said giving Cat a wink.

“Your incorrigible!” Cat said throwing a pillow at him as he ducked out the door. Jenny made it out too with out getting hit either. With a sigh she turned her eyes to Cyro who had been sitting there watching them.

‘You need not say anything little one. I may not be able to talk but I am not blind you belong with them. There will be a time when you will discover the one you are meant to be with. The time will come when the melding of souls will save all. Goodbye little Lady.’ With that Cyro stood up and left the room leaving a very bewildered Cat.

With a sigh she pulled back the covers and felt relieved that she was still dressed. Wincing she stood up and walked to the door right as she reached to open the door it was opened and there stood the Doctor. “So you ready to head back to the TARDIS and go some where else?” He asked with one of his brilliant smiles.

“Depends where were you thinking of dragging us?” She asked leaning against the opposite side of the door that he was leaning on.

“Oh I was thinking of an Amusement park. You know since this vacation spot didn’t work out the way I planed.” He stated.

“Dose anything go the way you plan it?” She laughed.

“No it never dose.” He said. “But it’s always great fun.”

“Tell you what we’ll go to this amusement park but if you say Brilliant just once I get to choose our next three stops.” Cat said with a smile and held out her hand to shake on the deal.

“That hardily seams fair what do I get if I don’t say that word.” The Doctor said scratching his head behind his ear almost like a puppy looking for attention. Cat had to bite her lower lip for a second to keep from laughing at him though she couldn’t hold back a smile.

“What possibly could the all powerful Time Lord want form little old human me?” She asked.

“How about all the training I want to put you through and testing with out complaints and or whining.” He said looking down at her.

“Sounds like a deal.” She said with a smile still holding out her hand this time he took it though he used it pull her into a hug.

“Come on then let’s get out of here Before Jenny and the crown prince run off together.” He stated as they walked down the hall together.

“I take it he’s a fighter.” Cat said laughing.

“Yes in charge of an army with a lot of weapons at his finger tips.” The Doctor said with a chuckle.

“Oh know we defiantly got to get her it might turn into love with that combination.” She said grabbing his hand and dragging him off down the hall at a full run.

A/N That is the end of the first episode. I'm already hard at work on the next Episode. I'm not one of those authers that say review and get a new chapter or plushie or anyother bribe I can think of. But I will say Reviews make me wright faster. And I do like hearing what you think good or bad. All those warnings were for later chapters as I don't know what I'll do next. Ideas welcomed too.
