Chapter 2
A Very interesting conversation.
It was 4am when vincent woke up, he kissed catherine to wake her up.
"Hi" she grinned "Did you sleep well?" she enquired
"I did, my love" he answered "You have to meet the witnesses for your case today, don't you?" vincent asked out of concern
"Yes, I have" she said in sadness "That poor kid, he's only 8 years old, how was he going to defend himself against a fully grown man"
Vincent looked at her curiously
"Jack, he has autism and learning difficulties, when his mother looked after him there was nothing that concerned the child protection services,
it wasn't the same when his father started looking after him full-time" said catherine
"I wondered if you had been crying today, I felt your despair, Are you ok now?" he asked
"I am, I was with you in your arms and I felt peace, love, contentment, it was the most lovely experience ever" she smiled
"I wish sometimes we could do this all the time, I feel like a part of me is missing when you are gone" she said sadly
"Catherine, last night I felt your contentment. It was truly beautiful and to tell you the truth I could hold you in my arms all night
I feel empty without you during the day. I feel empty here" he lifted her hand to his heart.
"I alas must go back down to the tunnels as I have to teach today, we are reading sense and sensibility." he laughed
"Oh you" she smacked his chest and he laughed more

"may I use your bathroom to get dressed, I really do have to leave my love but can we do something tonight?
Father is eager to have you for dinner again" he asked as he caressed her cheek
"Oh, vincent that would be lovely and give father my love and that I gladly accept his invitation." said catherine in delight
He lifted himself off catherine and got dressed
"I'll see you tonight catherine, come down at 6pm so we can have some quality time before dinner" said vincent
"I will, I love you" she said in earnest. He smiled lovingly down at her
He made his way down the trellis and ran to central park drainage tunnel
As he made his way to father's chamber, Jacob the elder came out, "Hello vincent, how is catherine and is she able to come down here for dinner?" he asked
"catherine is fine, other than being emotionally exhausted, she has to prosecute in a child abuse case. I felt her despair and she looked like she had been crying,
but yes she isn't that busy today so she can make it to dinner with us tonight"
"I am rather fond of her, vincent, if ever you two decided to get married you do know you have my blessing." said jacob with sincererity
Vincent looked down at that point, he was blushing but overwhelmed with happiness and tears of joy
"Thank you father, you have no idea how much it means to hear you say that" He Hugged father and went to his own chamber to grabbed an hours sleep.
catherine continued to sleep and started to dream about finally making love to vincent.
It was 6am and vincent found he was overwhelmed with passion all of a sudden "Oh, my catherine" he smiled as he sent his own erotic thoughts over the link they shared
