Chapter One

Legend

Flora Winters

I do not own Smallville or Tenchi Muyo. This will be a crossover between the two, but will be completely different for multiple reasons…for the most part.

Summary: A demon, a crazy alien prince, and a rich billionaire collide into Smallville’s boring life. MM, LANG, OC, XOVER.

Chapter One

A massive spaceship was flying past planet 004, Mars. The planet was indeed red, the very color of blood. The Romans called it War, the Aztecs called it Love. These aliens have studied the many cultures of planet 003, Earth, which is exactly where they were headed.

“Stasis lock deactivated,” a robotic voice announced.

A great hissing note resounded and a green organic door began to uncoil, revealing an extraordinarily beautiful young man. His brilliant white hair cascaded down his back like a rushing avalanche, and he slowly opened his fierce sunflower yellow eyes to take in his serene surroundings. His skin was the color of golden peaches and warm cream.

He stepped out of his stasis chamber to look around his beautiful garden, and all the many screens that appeared before him, filling his mind with data.

“Have we arrived,” he asked his ship with a honey sweet voice.

“Planet 003, Earth, is coming up shortly, Sir,” the ship’s robotic voice announced.

Those molten yellow orbs lit up like the sun, “Then this is where my cousin, Jor-El is.”

“Yes,” his ship told him, “But…”

“But,” he asked.

“We are unable to detect Lord Jor-El, Your Highness,” his ship told him, “But we are detecting another’s energy sequence.”

His left eye twitched.

“And,” the prince asked, “Who might this life sequence belong to?”

It was as if the ship had to take a deep breath.

“Well,” he asked, eye beginning to really twitch.

“The evil Space Lord, Kai,” the ship said.

The prince’s nostrils flared and his silk robes hissed as he smacked a screen all the way across the blooming garden.

“That bastard,” he roared, stomping his heel, “I’ll capture him, lock him up, and torture him until he dies real good!”

He cackled evilly.

Unfortunately, Prince Donn-El,” the ship said, “The Statute of Limitations sat up by the Holy Council of Krypton will expire very soon, and will be expunged.”

Prince Donn stopped cackling, and hissed, “What?”

The ship took another deep breath.

“The Statue of Limitations sat up by the Holy Council of Krypton will end in five seconds, thus expunging all of Kai’s criminal records.”

Donn blinked, “What?”

A clock suddenly appeared over his head and he looked up. It began to count down from five. The moment it reached zero, all of Kai’s criminal records vanished, along with his smug face.

“What,” Donn practically screamed at the top of his royal lungs, “Tell me why this happened? How can that smug bitch go free? Answer me, Mezzo!”

“The Statue of Limitations sat up by the Holy Council of Krypton…”

Mezzo was cut off by another violent punch at the screen.

“I know,” Donn roared, “Just get me to Earth so I can capture that planet destroyer and man stealer!”

“But the Statute of Limitations sat up by the Holy Council of Krypton,” Mezzo began only to be stopped with a venomous snarl.

“Who do you fear most, Mezzo,” the young and beautiful Prince of Krypton asked in his most pleasant voice, “Some silly Holy Council…or me?”

Mezzo, the ships AI gulped once more.

“Will we use weapons, Your Highness,” Mezzo asked.

“Only as a precaution,” Donn-El smiled wickedly, “We will refrain from firing.”

The demon, Kai, opened his blue topaz orbs and smiled up at Clark with really white teeth. His golden skin just shimmered in the light like warm honey.

“You,” Clark hissed, pointing at him, “What are you doing in my bed?”

Kai sat up, covers pooling around his narrow waist, hair cascading down his broad back like a golden waterfall.

“A big boy like you,” he grinned, talking in a deep, rich voice, “Seems to know how to tire a fellow out.”

Clark began to blush redder than an apple, “Are you naked under there?”

Oh my god! I have a naked man…naked demon in my room…in my bed! Holy shit!

Kai’s grin got even bigger and he simply nodded. He looked like the big bad wolf that had gobbled up poor Grandma.

Clark took a step back when Kai moved to get up, and he quickly covered his face with his big hands.

Kai chuckled, “Why don’t you show me that big sword of yours, Clark?”

“No,” he snarled, backing away even more, “I’m not like that. I don’t even know you.”

“You idiot,” Kai snapped, suddenly dressed to smite, “The crystal sword.”

“Oh,” Clark said, suddenly feeling a little relief.

Wow, Kai looked hot in all that black leather.

Huh? Hot?

Kai watched him walk over and pull it from out of his pack. He smiled wickedly. All three magical sapphire gems were around the hilt. Soon he would have all his powers again.

“Give it to me,” Kai commanded, holding out his golden hand.

“No way,” Clark said, suddenly remembering how it had burned this guy in the cave, “It’s mine.”

Kai instantly pouted something fierce, “But, I need it.”

Clark suddenly felt sympathy. That was one gorgeous, heartbreaking pout.

“Nope,” he said, shaking his head.

Kai’s eyes began to glow like molten blue gems, “Give me the sword, boy.”

“Fine,” Clark yawned, holding it out, “Take it.”

Kai smiled and reached for it. He gripped the blade. It burned like hell, he cried out, and was blasted back onto the bed where he laid panting.

Clark chuckled.

“Damn it,” Kai hissed, sitting up, rubbing his hand.

“You can’t touch this,” Clark teased.

“Please,” he begged, “My gems are on the hilt. Please, give them back to me.”

He was such a good actor. He actually let a tear fall.

Clark made a face, “Now hold on.”

“Please,” Kai begged, sinking to his knees.

“You tried to kill me, and you blew up my school,” he said, “What makes you think I’m going to help you do more freaky stuff. I know the old legend. These jewels are the source of your evil powers.”

“Oh,” Kai smiled, waving it all away as he crawled towards Clark, “That was just me having a little fun. I wasn’t really going to hurt you.”

Clark made a face, putting a hand on his hip, “Uh huh.”

“Honest,” Kai smiled.

“I don’t believe you,” Clark said.

Kai snarled.

“If you think I’m bad news,” he said, pouting even more, “Just you wait until “he” shows up.”

Clark looked down at him, “He?”

Kai sighed, and laid back.

“He’s the devil.”

8888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

“Achoo,” Donn sneezed at the top of his lungs, looking around, “Are we there yet?”

88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

“He’d rather blast you into a million pieces than to look at you,” Kai said, wrapping his arms around Clark’s knees, “He’s a royal bully.”

“Hey,” Clark snapped, wanting him to let go,” Stop that.”

“Give me back my jewels,” he said, “And I’ll leave you alone.”

“How about I ram this blade up your ass,” Clark suggested with an impish green glint in his eyes.

“You sure do know how to turn a Beast on,” Kai chuckled, suddenly knocking Clark flat on his back, pinning him down, “Give me my jewels!”

Clark growled and then he was on top.

“You’re crazy!”

That was when his door opened.

“Oh my god,” Jonathan gasped.

Isn’t he supposed to be in Metropolis? When did he get home?

“Dad,” Clark stuttered, suddenly seeing what the situation looked like, “This is not what you think.”

“Martha,” he yelled down the steps, “You owe me fifty dollars!”

Clark blinked, “Huh?”

“Oh,” Jonathan said, “We’re going to run into town to get some butter. We’ll be back soon.”

The door closed.

“Wait,” Clark yelled, “What? This isn’t what it looks like, Dad!”

Kai was once again on top, “Give me my jewels!”

The two of them wrestled around the room, nearly breaking everything in sight. The more they fought, the more pissed off they got at each other.

“Give me my jewels,” Kai screamed, hurling a bolt at him.

It bounced off the sword and sat the bed on fire.

“Shit,” Clark cried, “Just look at the mess you’re making!”

“Me,” Kai ranted as Clark quickly put out the flames with his hands, “If you would just give me my damn jewels!”

All of a sudden the whole house began to shake violently.

“Stop doing that,” Clark yelled.

Kai looked up, “That wasn’t me.”

“Kai,” A loud voice boomed from above, “I know you’re in there! Come on out now! Give yourself up this instant! I command it!”

“Shit,” Kai hissed, “That damn ice bitch is here already.”

88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

Donn poked at the monitor in front of him that showed him the tiny little Earth structure.

“Are you sure this thing is on?”

If Mezzo had eyes, he would have rolled them, “Yes, Sir.”

“All right,” Donn giggled, “Fire a warning shot nearby.”

“I thought we were going to refrain from firing,” Mezzo said.

Donn’s left eye twitched, “Just do it!”

88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

A loud explosion shook the ground. It blasted Clark along with Kai right into the closet when the window exploded inwards.

“Oh my god,” Clark yelled, crawling off of Kai, to run to his now shattered window.

He nearly fainted at the sight of the huge spacecraft hovering over his house. The damn thing was massive. It had all kinds of glowing lights.

“Kai,” the voice called again, “Come on out of there! I don’t want to get trigger happy!”

Clark saw that the truck was gone.

He dropped to his knees, “My parents are going to kill me.”

Kai crawled out from under the clothes, got to his feet, and put his hands on his hips.

“Now do you believe me?”

Clark turned to look at him, “Uh huh.”

“Will you give me back my jewels so I can shoo that devil away,” he asked.

“How,” Clark asked.

Kai smiled wickedly and Clark gulped.

“Simply point the sword hilt towards me,” he said, “And pray for the jewels to return to me.”

Clark blinked, “That’s it?”

Kai nodded.

“I said come out,” that scary voice roared, “Don’t make me come down there, Kai!”

“Hurry,” Kai ordered, “Pray faster!”

“Who do I pray to,” Clark asked, getting even more nervous.

“I don’t know,” Kai yelled, “Who do worship on this pathetic piss pot? Whoever the bitch is, he or she doesn’t have any imagination whatsoever!”

Clark made a face. He wasn’t religious. He didn’t know.

“Forget it,” Donn said, fighting for patience, “Just pray to me.”

“Huh,” Clark asked.

“Kai,” that voice boomed, “Now see what you’ve made me do? I’m using my pleasant voice!”

Clark shivered.

“Just do it,” Kai yelled.

Clark quickly closed his eyes and began praying so the loud mouthed demon would shut the hell up already and save his farm. A blue sapphire on the hilt began to glow, and it vanished from the hilt.

Kai opened his eyes, sighing, only to growl, as he looked at the gem on his left wrist.

“What the hell,’ he shrieked, grabbing Clark’s collar, “You only gave me one!”

Clark smiled, “Exactly.”

Kai’s jaw dropped.

He started to laugh, “Well, that’s okay.”

The spaceship above them fired another shot, closer this time. The whole house shook with it.

“Quick,” Clark yelled, “Do something!”

Kai raised up his left hand, sapphire blue jewel all aglow with magic.

“Awaken,” his voice echoed, “Awaken, Starflare.”

“Who,” Clark asked.

“The other demon in the legend,” Kai said.

“What other demon,” Clark yelled, “I didn’t give you permission to go and summon another demon!”

Kai’s right eye twitched, “Permission?”

Clark growled at him.

Prince Donn-El cackled with glee as he kept firing the proton canon wave. It was so much fun. He was going to get that damn demon that led his man astray.

“Sir,” Mezzo said in a reasonably calm tone, “My sensors are picking up another object quickly heading this way.”

“On screen,” Donn yelled.

It was another spaceship. Apparently it had risen from a great lake.

“Ah,” Donn hissed, “There you are you vile battleship!”

“Your orders,” Mezzo said.

Prince Donn-El chuckled maniacally, “Blast it from the sky!”

888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888

Clark’s normal, boring, little world was crashing down all around his ears. Why, oh why did he have to go into that cave?

“Come on, Clark,” Kai laughed, taking his hand in his, “Let’s fly.”

Clark cried out when began to float up off his feet along with Kai to suddenly vanish like mist.

Lana Lang sat up in her bed, to feel the ground vibrate. She let out a yawn, getting to her feet.

She walked over to her bedroom window to look out. Apparently there were two giant spaceships battling each other over the Kent Farm in the distance.

She cocked her head to the side. It was all kind of pretty. She watched them suddenly vanish in blurs of golden and green light up into the sky.

She yawned, and crawled back into bed.

Why did I have to have that burrito?
