Author's Note: Finally! I was able to post the first chapter, took long enough :); I've decided to start/post the second chapter so soon even without reviews because I am so excited about this story I want to get started right away! By the way, this chapter is inspired from Get out Alive by Three Days Grace, an amazing band. When I heard this song I knew it would be the background for the most of this chapter. Please enjoy! ( AND REVIEW :D )



Summery: With the death of the former yellow ranger, Trini, Kimberly returns home only to find out that her past has come back to haunt her.. Not only is her power coin is in existence but she must return to Angel Grove to find out everything Zordon's death brought years ago. But what happens when she does return to her true home and what she thought was a blessing turns out to be a disaster when she is attacked by Elsa, wanting to take Kimberly to none other than Mesogog. He knows Tommy's true weakness, which is the Pink Ranger. Will Tommy and the Dino Thunder Rangers be able to find her? And how long will Kimberly's powers last?



- Part Two - Get Out Alive





-- Outside the Power Chamber --

Tommy pounded the ground with his fists as he yelled out her name over and over. Why was this happening to him? Why was she swept away from under his fingers again?! Why her..why Kimberly? None of this made sense as he tried to think of rationalizations for the events that just took place. How did Kimberly have her powers back? The power coins were destroyed. Why did Mesogog want Kimberly? How did he even know about her... The realization then hit him as he clenched his fingers into a fist as they grinded against the dirt. “Me..he knows I will do anything for Kimberly..it's because of Anton. I told him everything..” He tipped his head up then hearing familiar voices as Conner, Ethan, and Kira came running up behind him.



Conner ran in front of his other two teammates over to Tommy. “Dr. O! What happened?! Why did you rush here..”



Tommy spoke when the other rangers ran up behind Conner. “Mesogog took her...”



Kira took off her helmet as she raised a brow. “Took who, Dr. O?”



The rest of the rangers took their helmets off waiting for an answer.



Tommy stood up and turned to face his three students. “Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger. The one you saw in the video.”



Ethan got a confused look on his face as he spoke, “What would he want with her? It's not like she has her powers anymore, she's worthless.”



That obviously upset Tommy as he moved past them and Conner lightly shoved Ethan with a look on his face screaming ' Why the hell would you say that man? '



Tommy shook his head as he was the last to remove his helmet. “She is definitely not worthless and she is never to be underestimated. He wants her because he knows it will get to me, and besides that fact, she has her powers back, though I still don't know how.”



Kira started to smile thinking that finally she wouldn't be the only girl on the team but her smile quickly faded in the situation. “We should get back and try to locate her Dr. O.”



Tommy nodded and held his wrist up and told Hayley to open an invi-portal. Once it was open the four quickly went through it and disappeared.



-- In Kimberly's Dream --



Kimberly was sitting by a shinning lake as she had her knees up, her chin resting a top of her hands which were resting against her knees. She saw a figure approaching her dressed in a white shirt and tan pants. She smiled and stood up walking over to the figure. She wrapped her arms around him and sighed of relief.



“Tommy...I was so scared.. I thought I lost you forever..”



“Don't worry beautiful, you'll never loose me.” He told her assuringly.



She always felt safe with him, at home, and at peace. She gazed up into his eyes as he smiled down at her but then his smile turned into a frown and he grabbed her by the shoulders and grabbed her arm and twisted it back following with a kick to her stomach, sending her to the ground a few feet from him.



Kimberly winced holding her wrist looking at him. “Tommy.. what's wrong with you?!” She said with obvious pain in her voice.



Tommy laughed as he began fading and a new image appeared to Kimberly. The figure appeared as Mesogog causing a scream from Kimberly.



-- Outside Kimberly's Dream / Mesogog's Lair --



Kimberly woke up screaming as she went to sit up but couldn't as she was being held down by black, tight, restraints. Her vision went from black to a blur and soon back to normal as she winced and gasped as a Mesogog was standing by the bed looking over her as he breathed and panted -like- a dinosaur.



Kimberly had a disgusted look on her face, not showing the fear. “Could use a breath mint, don't you think, dinosaur breath?” She frowned as she coughed.



Mesogog growled, but smirked as he ran his claws through her hair, making a fist and grabbing, pulling her head back. “You think you are so tough, don't you Pink Ranger...” He hissed as he glared at her.



Kimberly's eyes widened as she tried to reach for her pocket, gasping when she felt nothing. “What did you do with my power coin, you freak?!”



Mesogog nodded at Elsa as she walked over and held a sword to Kimberly's neck. “Speak when spoken to but never insult your master like that.” She said smirking.



Kimberly rolled her eyes as she looked at Elsa. “Oh some master right, do you enjoy taking orders from an extinct dinosaur like him?” She winced then as all that comment got her was a slap in the face.



She couldn't take holding the question burning her mind, she had to release it. “What do you want with me?!”



Mesogog smiled as he turned around facing the other side of the room. “Tommy.”



Kimberly's eyes widened then as they shook with horror. “No...” Tears started to form in her brown eyes as she thought of every time she was a mistake in Tommy's life.



-- Dr. Oliver's Basement / Command Center --



Tommy sat down by Hayley as they were scanning the area for the Pink Ranger. Conner, Ethan, and Kira were watching from behind them.



Tommy shook his head as he placed his hands on his face. “This is pointless, we all know where she is.”



Hayley frowned and looked over at him. “We can't exactly go in there, not with Trent's evil double. It will be a death trap waiting to happen. Do you remember last time?”



Tommy nodded as he turned to look at the other three rangers. “It's best if you guys go home. We can't do anything really until morning. Will one of you let Trent know what's going on?” He asked as Kira said she would.



He had also told Hayley to head home but she insisted on staying to try and find the Pink Ranger. He soon went upstairs, locking the basement door from his main level of his home and quickly going upstairs to his bedroom. He walked over to his closet and turned the light on, moving some boxes still unpacked out of the way until he found an opened box laying under some clothes. He took it out and sat down on his bed as he opened it up. Inside the box was full, filled with photo albums, a teddy bear, and some letters.



He turned the pages of the photo album looking through the many pictures as he sighed deeply. “Kimberly...how could we have grown so far apart... and why didn't I just listen to you at the funeral...”



**FLASHBACK**



Tommy was unlocking the door to his home as he was sorting through some mail. He had just come from a meeting at Reefside High School, he had gotten the job as the science teacher. He was very happy none to say the least but his mood was about to take a rapid change. He sat down on his couch as he sorted through the bills until he found a letter. He lightly smiled seeing it was from Katherine Cranston.



Katherine and Billy had married a few years back after meeting up again after Billy returned from Aquitar.



Tommy opened the letter expecting to hear they had a child or how their live was going.



Dear Tommy,

I know it's been awhile and for that I am sorry. I am not going to try and halt what this letter is really about. I am sorry I could not do this in person but I just had to finally tell you...after as many years as it has been. After I first came to Angel Grove, still somewhat under the control of Rita, I started to be very fond of you as you already know. Tommy..I made a terrible mistake.. I purposely wanted Kimberly out of the picture. I had already replaced her as the Pink Ninja Ranger and then took what would have been her spot as the Pink Zeo Ranger.. I wanted more.. I wanted you. I had been writing Kimberly already.. pretending to be Aisha, Adam, Billy, and Rocky.. just writing her letters how I had been replacing Kimberly in every way possible..but I saw that still didn't stop your relationship..so I wrote two letters.. the letter you received from Kimberly was actually from me.. I also sent her a letter saying that you wanted to break up with her, that you wanted to date me, and that she was just like a sister to you.. I am so sorry Tommy...for everything.

Tommy's eyes had widened as he threw the letter to the ground and clenched his fists. Kimberly was telling the truth..Kat ruined everything..no..calm down Oliver. He thought to himself and sighed. “She may have started the break up but I didn't do anything when I received that letter, I didn't try to call Kim or fight for her..I may hate Kat for the letters but the ending of our relationship was my own doing..Kim tried to mend things at Trini's funeral..God.. Tommy you are so stupid.” He thought holding back tears.



**END OF FLASHBACK**



Tommy had tears fall from his eyes as all the memories flooded back to him...and after the events that took place in just the past few hours, it was all overwhelming. He placed the photo album on the stand next to his bed and soon drifted off into a needed sleep. What few hours he would be able to get without wanting to rush into Mesogog's lair and sweep Kim into his arms and destroy Mesogog.

**THE NEXT MORNING**

The whole night Kimberly had been struggling to try and find a way to escape and trying to make it miserable for everyone there, screaming, and demanding things. Some of the comments she made were, “Wow! Doesn't a -prisoner- get any thing to eat?!” She knew how to annoy people but when it was dealing with hard heads like Mesogog, nothing of that nature would work.



However, being that she was a very small person, not to be taken lightly either, she had managed to free one of her arms as she waited awhile to see if anyone would enter the room she was in. It appeared they were all gone. She used this as a chance and pulled on the restraints until she was free. She closed her eyes only expected that witchy woman, Elsa to run in and grab her but that didn't happen. She eased herself off of the bed and started to look around for her communicator and power coin.



Kimberly ran her hand through her brown hair as she sighed to herself and whispered, “Where is it.. it has to be somewhere around here..I have to get out of here..alive.”



She continued to look around quietly until something sparked in her eye as she ran over to a table and nearly screamed of excitement as she found her belonging, including her Pink Power Coin. “Yes!” She yelled .. quietly. She placed the communicator back on her wrist and prayed it would work. She pressed the button as her body was engulfed in a pink light as she teleported out of the lair, not fully sure of where it would take her, she just prayed it would take her out of this place.



Mesogog walked into the room laughing devilishly with Elsa. “Once she morphs, the evil of the Pink Dino Gem will consume her..” He continued his plotting as he looked at Elsa when he saw Kimberly appear in Reefside, just near the high school. He looked over at Elsa and smiled. “Teach her a lesson, and make -sure- she uses her power coin. Once she does everything is ours!” he laughed evilly as Elsa disappeared in an invi-portal with several tyrannodrones.



Mesogog then turned to the white ranger. “Make sure Elsa does her job, if not, attack the Pink Ranger.”



The white ranger nodded as he prepared for the attack.



-- Outside Reefside High school --



Kimberly smiled as she reappeared, the pink light fading. “Thank you Andros..” What she truly didn't know was it wasn't Andros who had recovered the Pink Power Coin or the communicator, it was a set-up from the start. If she would have only read the package which clearly said -Anton Mercer Industries,INC.- But it was easy to miss, especially with a letter like that. She began to walk away from the tree she landed by when all of the sudden she heard screeching and she turned around to see Elsa appear with more tyrannodrones. She rolled her eyes as she held her hands out.



“Didn't you learn from last time? You can't obviously defeat me without your -master-.”



Elsa smirked and held out her sword. “Or so you think! ATTACK!” She yelled as the tyrannodrones ran towards Kimberly.



Kimberly instinctively went to take her power coin out of her pocket by stopped. “I need to conserve energy.. I don't know how long the power will last.”



She started to run towards the tyrannodrones and quickly jumped up twirling into the air as she kicked two of their heads. “Ki-yah!” as soon as she landed she quickly punched her way through as they continued to get up.



“Definitely not putties, I'll give you that, but that won't stop me!”



“Come and get me bone brains!” She yelled as she did several back flips until she swung her leg hitting Elsa's face sending her back and then flipped forward and grabbed at Elsa's legs flipping Elsa over as she flipped right side up.



A voice from the distance came as the tyrannodrones blew up in an explosion. “Still can't cut it, can you Elsa?” He said as he appeared behind the brunette. “My master tells me you are into white.”



Kimberly was at first frightened but then rolled her eyes. “Oh please, like you could pull white off?”



-- Dr. Oliver's Basement / Command Center --



Hayley gasped as she turned around to yell at Tommy. “I found her!” She yelled as Tommy came running over seeing this. Hayley then frowned, a report coming up on the computer with the readings of what was in Kimberly's pocket. All Tommy could do was smile.



“I'll handle this myself.” He said morphing into the Black Dino Ranger.



Hayley then stopped him. “Wait.. something dark is coming from Kimberly's power coin. You have to hurry Tommy, don't let her morph. I have a bad feeling about it.”



Tommy nodded. “Alright I won't.” He said disappearing in the insi-portal.



-- Outside Reefside High school --



Kimberly jumped away from the white ranger as she grabbed her coin from her pocket. “You have -no- idea who you are dealing with.”



As soon as she said that, Tommy appeared through the portal. Elsa tried to stop him but he continued to run towards Kimberly.



Kimberly smiled as she held the coin out. “It's morphing time!”



Tommy's eyes widened in his helmet as he outstretched his hand and tried running faster. “No! Kimberly!! STOP!”



“Pink Ranger Power!” Kimberly yelled as she tackled the white ranger in her uniform, powers fully back.



Once she heard Tommy's voice it all went dark for her as her figure stopped. A light mixed with black and pink appeared from her chest as her uniform started to shape-shift. Her old power uniform was soon mixing with a dino ranger uniform similar to Kira's, except pink of course and the emblem on the chest of the uniform had her past powers on it, the Pterodactyl, the Crane, and now the Stegosaurus, all 3 different shades of pink mixed with white and a black outlining.



Tommy ran over to Kimberly grabbing her arm, lightly, and frowned taking his helmet off. “Kim..it's me. Tommy.”



Kimberly still remained motionless. “Who's Tommy? I don't know any Tommy.” Her voice sounding slightly deeper.. and dark.

So...how was that?! I had so many opportunities for cliff hangers here but I couldn't resist. I just had to make it to the fight. I tried my best not to rush it but many chapters will exist of the Dark Pink Dino Ranger.
