chapter 1

It was around 3:00pm before the kids came home. As soon as they walked through the magical door that led to the magic school, Wyatt and Sahara sent them into the sitting room. The room had several couches and chairs. There was no television in the room. It was mainly used for family meetings or to sit around with company to talk. The four kids sat on the two couches and waited for their parents to begin speaking.

“Earlier today, we received a letter from an old friend. Our friend has asked for our help. We have agreed to help.” Wyatt said looking at each child in the eye.

“In other words, we will be moving to London, England for a while.” Sahara said. She watched as each of her children looked at one another. She still considered them children even though they were teens. Her heritage gave them the looks of teens but if you counted her demon heritage, they were still counted as children.

“Well, we will miss ya. Hope you have fun.” Their youngest said standing up. Sahara glanced to her husband for help.

“Sit down Allie. When your mother said we she was including all of you.” Wyatt said looking at his youngest. Even though she was the perfect combination of both, she was still much younger than her siblings.

Allie pouted as she sat back down beside of her bother. She resembled her mother the most. Although her hair reached her lower back and appeared to be black. In fact her hair was dominating black with red and blonde highlights. Her eyes looked like her mothers, although a hint of blue would shine through once in a while. Her skin was even the same tan as her mothers. She was at the age of fourteen.

“Now Alex and Adrein, I know we promised you two that you could go to Japan to visit with your grandparents. This decision has not changed that. You can go if you still want to or you can come with us.” Sahara said looked at the two twin boys sitting on the other couch.

The twins both had dark hair like their mother but the rest looked like their father. They were tall and had the build for athletes. In magic, they completed each other. The oldest twin took after their father’s magic while the youngest took after their mother. Although both could use their demonic powers, one was stronger than the other. They were a perfect match. In any kind of training they went through, they were a perfect team. They shared a bond in which was hard to explain. They had telekinetic powers and shared a mind bond. They never went somewhere without the other. They had refused to be apart in anything. That included training. The twins were nineteen.

“We will go to Grandpa’s.” The oldest twin said.

“But we do want to visit.” The youngest added.

“That’s fine. Just be good and let us know when you plan to visit.” Wyatt agreed.

Turning to the next child, Wyatt smiled. Out of all of their kids, his third son was the spitting image of him. He had blonde hair that he grew to reach his shoulders. His eyes looked to be the purest of blues. His skin was a perfect golden tan from living in California. He even took up much of his father’s magic. He wasn’t as strong in his demonic power as his siblings seemed to be. The only other child who was close to him in powers was their older sister. She was the only one who understood him and the one he was closest to. He was sixteen.

“I won’t give any trouble. I want to go to England with ya’ll.” He said.

“I knew you would, Connor. You always like to travel.” Wyatt smiled at him.

“Can’t I stay with Lizzy?” Allie asked.

“No, she just got married not long ago. Let her enjoy her new husband. We want you with us.” Sahara said to her youngest. She knew out of all the children, her youngest would be the hardest. She wanted to give into the little demands her youngest made sometimes but she couldn’t. Not this time. “You will be going to a school with other kids your age. You will learn a new type of magic.”

“I don’t want to go!” Allie said standing up. She was getting really mad that her parents weren’t listening to her.

“Allie, just shut up. For once, just listen to them.” Connor said to his little sister.

Allie glared at her bother but listened to him. She didn’t speak for the rest of the time. When Wyatt and Sahara were finished telling of the plans to leave within three weeks, they sent the kids off to practice their magic or train. Sahara left to fix dinner for everyone, leaving Wyatt alone with their youngest.

“Allie, come here.” He said rubbing his head. She always seemed to give him a headache and make him feel guilty. Like his wife, he tended to give Allie what she wanted from time to time. She was their last born and the most difficult birth for Sahara. Allie slide from the couch and made her way to her father. Wyatt pulled her to his lap and stroked her hair. “Why do you not want to go?”

“Because I don’t want to leave my friends behind. I don’t want to leave the cousin’s either.” She said softly.

“You will be able to make new friends. You will be fifteen soon. You should learn to break away from what you know and learn to stand on your own. But I feel as if that’s not all of it. Now what is really bothering you?” He knew when one of his kids was hiding something.

“It’s just that, what if I won’t be able to transform while we are over there. I don’t want to frighten anyone but I love my kitsune side. You and mom allow me to when we are home. Now it will be different.” Allie said a tear sliding form her face and forming into a purple stone. Wyatt quickly caught the stone. He had forgotten that three of his kids could produce the stones. They had to be careful.

“The people we are going to stay with for a while know of your mother’s demon side. They have seen it before. Well most of them seen it. I promise that once we get settled, we will sit up rules as if we never left home. Maybe a few changes but give it time. You will see.” He said.

“You promise?” Allie asked glancing up at her father.

“Yes, baby girl. I promise.” Wyatt kissed his daughter’s forehead before letting her up. “Now go on and have some fun. Dinner will be ready soon.”

“Alright Daddy.” Allie said as she headed up to her room.

Wyatt smiled as he headed into the kitchen with his wife. They were going to have a time in England.

Over at Hogwarts, Harry smiled as he entered the headmaster’s office with his Godfather, Remus Lupin. He didn’t know what he was there for; after all it was summer vacation. He was just glade that he wouldn’t be going back to his aunt and uncle’s. The headmaster was already seated behind his desk and motioned for Harry and Remus to take a seat.

“Alright Professor, why did you have me brought here?” Harry asked.

Dumbledore smiled, “I have invited some friends to come and help with the war. They will train you during the summer in different combat ways. They do have different forms of magic that they can teach you about.”

“Will they be professors?” Harry said leaning closer. He wanted to know as much as he could.

“No. they will help with the order once school picks up.” Dumbledore was about to say more but an owl arrived carrying a note. Dumbledore smiled as he took the note. The owl took off for some much needed rest. Dumbledore opened the letter; his smile grew as he read the reply.

“It seems as if they will leave in three weeks. Although, two of their children will be coming with them.” Dumbledore said.

“Which two? I haven’t seen them in years. Wonder how big the kids are.” Remus said smiling.

“You know who it is that’s coming?” Harry asked surprised.

“Yes. We became friends the last time they were here. They had three kids when they were here, I do believe that a four was born around the time you were, but I’m not sure.” Remus said.

“Did they know my parents?” Harry asked a little sad.

“Yes. In fact, Sahara was your mother’s best friend. They moved back to the states three months before you were born.” Remus said sounding lost.

“Oh.” Was all Harry could think to say.

“Well, they didn’t say which two will be joining them.” Dumbledore said trying to cheer the two up. “They will be staying at headquarters until I can arrange a place for them in London.”

“So they are moving here?” Remus asked.

“Yes, but only for as long as they are needed.” Dumbledore said.

“What about sleeping arrangements?” Harry asked knowing that HQ was going to be crowded with the Weasley’s staying there.

“We will worry about that when we get there. As such, we better get going. Molly would have our heads if we were late for dinner.” Dumbledore said as he led the other two out.

Four teens sat around a circular table in the middle of an old attic. The attic was filled with past memories and forgotten possessions. The room was tidy and had lots of room to move about. There were a few old couches and chairs placed around the room to sit comfortably. The family used the attic a lot. A book pedestal stood near the tall stain glass windows. It was currently empty. Placed in a circle around the four teens were four white candles. On the table was an old book filled with information, rituals, and spells. This book was called The Book of Shadows.

The teens had the book opened to a newly written page. They each had their eyes closed as they gathered their magic and molded it into one power. A large blue fiery ball appeared above the teens’ heads as it crackled and sizzled with power. A force field formed around the teens and the ball of energy. The teens were so focused on the power and control that they did not hear when someone entered the attic.

“Where did you kids learn to do that?” Wyatt said as he gazed at the amount of power his children held. The teens lost their focus as the shield fell, a burst of blue fire shot out causing everyone to duck. The teens hid under the table while Wyatt orbed out of the way. The burst of fire hit the couch near the teens and another hit the door, right where their father had been.

Wyatt finally orbed back in and looked at the damages. The power serge had been spent as the teens willed it away. Wyatt quickly put out the small fires before checking on each teen. Once he was satisfied that no one was hurt, he let out the breathe he did not realize he had been holding.

“I’ll ask again, where did you learn to do something like that?” Wyatt asked again.

“From Lizzy. She thought it could happen if we put our powers together.” The oldest twin said.

“So this was just a theory?” Wyatt asked.

“Yea, wasn’t sure it would work but just imagine what we could have done if Lizzy was here.” Alex said.

“Instead of just sending spells she learned.” Adrein added.

“I know you miss her but she has her own family to look after now. She will always come when you need her most.” Wyatt said sitting on the largest couch as his children sat around him.

“The twins won’t be so easy to reach.” Connor spoke from the right side of Wyatt.

“They can orb if you call for them. Did you forget that you all can orb? You children have been orbing since your mother had you.” Wyatt said looking at each teen.

“You know Grandpa and Granddad would not allow them to while they train over there.” Allie said from Wyatt’s left. The twins were sitting on the floor in front of their father.

“If it was important they would.” Wyatt answered.

“I would rather go with them instead. Can I?” Allie said trying to get out of moving.

“Your time to train with your Grandparents will come in time. You are still going with us.”

“Allie, you know you can visit us anytime you want.” Adrein said pulling his little sister down to his lap.

“You kids have always been able to orb. Whether or not you choose to use that power is up to you. In a way you can never be apart no matter how many miles are between you. Besides, we aren’t going to move there permanently. Come on, diner is ready.” Wyatt said standing up. Each teen stood up and followed their father out the door. Allie was the last one to leave as she changed forms. With a swish of her silver and black tail, she followed her brothers.

After dinner, the teens left for their rooms. Wyatt and Sahara had added to the house once Wyatt’s parents had left them the house. They expanded as much as they could and added two more bedrooms; one was a guest room for anyone who stayed over. Wyatt and Sahara sat in the living room watching a movie. It was the only time they could get for each other. Sahara laid snuggled into her husbands’ side as they formulated a plan for their arrival in London.

The two had not heard word of where they were to meet since sending their reply a week ago. As they relaxed, an owl pecked on the window. Sahara slowly untangled herself from her husband and opened the window. She took the note from the owl as the owl flew away. She took the note back to her husband and read it with him.

Dear Friends,

I am pleased that you will be arriving soon. It has come to my attention that you do not take the muggle transportation and may need assistance on a location to meet. I have arranged for an order member to meet you upon your arrival. I have also arranged for you to meet in a remote part of the international airport. As you know, I am currently looking for a place for your own but for now I have arranged rooms for all of you at HQ. I look forward to talking with you in person. Please inform me as to what time to expect your arrival so that your escort will be waiting.

Sincerely,

A. D.

Sahara glanced over at Wyatt and smiled. They already had time set. It was only the matter of sending a reply. Wyatt took the note and wrote a short reply stating on the time they would be leaving. He used his powers to send the note back. With a smile he got comfortable again with Sahara secured in his arms.

The movie finished around 11:00pm. Sahara yawned as she stood up. Wyatt proceeded to turn off the DVD player and TV.

“I’m going to check on the kids before heading to bed.” Sahara said giving a quick kiss to Wyatt.

“Alright, I’ll meet you up there.” Wyatt smiled pulling her into a romantic hug.

Sahara smiled before pulling away and heading up the stairs. Wyatt watched her as she put a little more sway into her walk than needed until she disappeared at the top of the stairs. He straightened up the living room and made sure all the doors were locked. He then orbed up to their bedroom. He pulled out some sweat pants and headed out to the bathroom for a much needed shower.

Sahara knocked on the door of the first room. It happened to be the twins’ room. She carefully opened the door and peered inside. The room was extremely messy. Clothes were everywhere. There were two beds located near the window. A nightstand table was placed in the middle of the two beds. A long desk that took most of the room ran along the right wall while self after self of weapons hung on the left wall. She smiled when she saw the twins fast asleep on one of the beds. One of the boys was at the head of the bed while the other was at the foot. A board game was placed between them. She carefully walked into the room and quietly picked the game up. She placed the game onto the desk, careful not to mess with the game pieces. She took the blanket from the opposite bed and placed it on one of the boys while she used the blanket from the bed to cover the other twin. She smiled once more before closing the door and heading to the next room.

As she did before, Sahara knocked on the door and carefully peered in. The room belonged to her youngest son. On contrast from the twins’ room, the room was clean, nearly spotless. A desk was facing the window with a desk lap. The bed sat against the right wall. Posters were hug on the wall. Bookshelves lined the left wall. An old looking book laid on the top most shelf. Sahara made her way into the room and smiled down at her son. He had fallen asleep while reading a book. She carefully placed a bookmark to keep his place as she placed the book onto the desk. She covered him up before slipping out of the room. She smiled as she realized how peaceful her children looked while asleep. She frowned when she saw the light on across the hall.

Sahara knocked on the door before opening the door. Laying on her bed was her youngest, still wide awake. Unlike the boys’ room, her daughter’s room was done in purple and soft pink. She had a large bed placed in the center of the room. A vanity was placed in front of the large windows. A desk with a TV and DVD player sat at the foot of the bed. Allie was currently watching music videos and sketching. She also noted that she was in her kitsune form. Her tail was wagging like crazy and her ears were flattened against her head in deep concentration. Sahara cleared her throat, successfully gaining her attention.

“Mom! I didn’t see you standing there.” Allie said sitting up and closing her sketchbook.

“You should be in bed.” Sahara said sitting next to her daughter.

“I know but I couldn’t sleep.”

“What is keeping you up so late?”

“Just wanted to finish something since it’s not a school night.”

“Well, you need to get some sleep we have packing to be doing.”

“I thought we weren’t leaving for another two weeks.”

“We are going to leave early. Just in less than a week since the school is letting out early.”

“Oh.” Allie replied as she turned off the TV and crawled under the blankets.

Sahara picked up the sketchbook and placed it on the night stand. She then tucked her in and kissed her forehead.

“You know I can tuck myself in.” Allie said with closed eyes. Sahara just smiled at her daughter as she drifted off to sleep. Her smile grew when she watched her burrow deeper under the covers, leaving only the tops of her black and silver ears. She quietly left the room and headed on down the hall to her bedroom.

Sahara smiled as she heard the water running in the bathroom. As quietly as she could, she slipped in and looked around. Finding what she was looking for, she slipped back out unnoticed. She then headed to the bedroom and dropped the pants she took onto a near by chair. As she began to change, two arms wrapped around her. She smiled as she leaned against the strong chest.

“You know I was going to wear those pants.” Wyatt said to her.

“Really? I didn’t think you needed them.” Sahara replied.

“You don’t really need those either.” Wyatt replied as he took hold of her night clothes and dropped them onto the floor. Sahara turned to face her husband. Wyatt was dripping wet, wearing only a towel. Sahara placed her fingers at the top of the towel as Wyatt led her over the bed.

Wyatt began to kiss Sahara as he slowly undressed her. She moaned into the kiss as their passion took hold. Wyatt slipped his hands under her and pulled her up further onto the bed. Sahara wasted no time to loosen the towel and toss it across the room. Wyatt laid over her leaving nothing to hide. He took his right hand and began to run his fingers along her flat stomach while he used his other to play with her breasts. Her moans increased as the pleasure rose. It wasn’t long before she felt him at her entrance. She gladly spread her legs wider for him. Wyatt clasped beside of his wife and held her close. They both lay content in each other’s arms.

Dumbledore was sitting in his office in a staff meeting. The meeting was going well until a note appeared in blue lights. Everyone stared at the note expecting something to happen. Dumbledore smiled as he picked the note up and began to read it. He knew who the note was from.

“Well, it seems that our friend’s will be arriving at 3:15pm in a week from now.” Dumbledore said.

“Why so soon? That doesn’t give much time to finalize everything.” McGonagall said.

“Well, it seems as if their children are getting out of their school earlier than expected.”

“So where are they to arrive?” Snape asked.

“At the muggle airport.”

“Who will meet them?”

“I’m planning on Remus and Harry to meet them. They will be staying at HQ for a while.”

“It seems as if you have everything planned out. Only one little over site. What about Sahara and her heritage that her children could have inherited?”

“Well, all their children received traits of that heritage but the demon heritage is to be kept from everyone until Sahara and Wyatt feel it is necessary to bring it up. It will be a difficult year for the children going to a new school and all.”

“Don’t tell me that I will be the one to tutor them to get them caught up for their level?” Snape continued.

“Well, I haven’t thought of that but thanks for volunteering. I know who much you would like to see your old friends.”

The meeting ended with much on everyone’s mind. Snape headed to his dungeons, cursing himself of opening his big mouth. He could have avoided them but he had to say something. After all, what was he to say to people who left him when he needed them most?
