Chapter 2…..
The blond smiled gently up at the man who had permanently laid claim to his heart, blue eyes shining with laughter and his lips stretched into the smile that had given him his nickname. Brian felt his breath catch in his chest as he waited for Justin’s answer. The smile on his boy’s face made him realize why Debbie called Justin sunshine.
“Of course I’ll come home with you, but what about Daphne? “
Brian smiled and opened the door to his jeep, handing the boy his cell phone.
“Send her a text message.” He leaned in and whispered into a well-formed ear, unmindful of prying eyes. “I have plans for you, all night.”
Nibbling on that tempting ear, Brian chuckled as he felt Justin shiver. Murmuring gently as he backed away and closed the passenger door.
“My beautiful boy...“ Justin leaned back into the seat and relived the night in his mind. The dance, the kisses and the emotions he had spied in Brian’s eyes. Picking up the phone, he sent a text message to his best friend.
’Sorry to ditch, Brian has plans! :-D details will follow, Luv you, call in morning …Jus’
Brian put the car in drive and slowly started to edge his jeep out of the parking garage. Had they turned around they would have seen a young man with a baseball bat stepping out of the shadows with a scowl on his face.
Justin looked over at Brian, watching him drive as he waited for Daphne to reply. Music was playing gently on the radio. When she did reply a laugh escaped him. So typical her! He read the message aloud to Brian.
“ B*tch you better tell me everything, otherwise I will never forgive this! And tell that hunk of yours that he owes me big! He lost me my date! :´( Luv *smooch* Daph…” He glanced at Brian and met hazel eyes sparkling with amusement.
“That I did…” Justin grinned at the older man and nothing more was said during the ride. That Justin and Brian’s hands were intertwined all the way to the loft was not mentioned either.
The silence continued as they walked into the loft. Brian undressed Justin slowly, kissing him gently to silence any questions. He pushed the now naked boy towards the bathroom. He had some preparation to do.
Justin stepped in under the hot spray, the water washing away the sweat from dancing and the cologne that Emmett had sprayed on that afternoon, leaving only the scent of Justin and the sandalwood-scented shower gel that Brian seemed to like. He leaned his head back and wondered to himself, what would this night bring?
Brian’s preparation did not take long. He had most things done before even going to the prom. Mikey’s words to him had struck a chord somewhere deep inside him. They had made him realize that just because he was thirty did not mean his life was over. Just because he had fallen in love, it didn’t mean he would become a dickless fag.
He was Brian fucking Kinney and that would never change. So what if his attitude had become a bit gentler towards that particular soul. He smiled a true honest-to-god-I-am-happy-smile. He could indulge his romantic (goodness, he didn’t even cringe at the thought) side with his boyfriend sometimes. That was just what he had planned to do.
After Mikey had left and all the realizations had hit he had begun the preparations. Even with the late hour money still talked, you just had to know who to call. Flowers had been delivered, chocolate, Justin’s favorite finger food, candles with a soft scent of rose – all of it was ready. He had even splurged and bought a bottle of insanely, expensive wine because he didn’t drink champagne, it made him sick. Pillows had been laid out on the floor, roses placed in a vase on the coffee table that he had placed close by, together with candles.
All that had been prepared before he changed into an appropriate suit for the night. Then he had gone to get Justin. The plan had been to get Justin to leave as soon as he found him. But somehow the boy had gotten him to do the unexpected, even what he did not expect from himself. They had danced.
Then he thought he would get Justin to promise to come to the loft after dropping Daphne off. But Brian had changed his mind again, not wanting to let Justin go.
Brian bustled around the room lighting candles, reheating food that needed heating.
He placed the ice bucket with the wine beside the low coffee table, setting the food out. He went and removed his shoes and socks, unbuttoning his shirt, hanging his jacket in the closet. He heard the faint sounds of Justin humming in the shower.
The boy could not sing worth a damn, and god help him, he thought it was cute!
He smiled to himself as he took a seat on the mound of pillows.
He looked around the loft that was bathed in a soft glow. The glow came from twenty odd candles scattered around the room. Bowls and vases of roses were placed around the room as well, spreading their delicious scent around the room.
He poured himself a glass of wine and took a sip. It was as good as he remembered. Leaning back, he waited for Justin to emerge from the bathroom, wanting to see the boys face as he saw what he’d done. As an afterthought, he pressed ‘play’ on the remote to his media-center, starting a CD with ‘The Drifters.’ He really didn’t think about what song was playing.
Justin hummed to himself as he stood in Brian’s bathroom, rubbing lotion into his skin. He wanted to be as smooth as possible to please his lover. He wanted to become the center of Brian’s universe.
It was that simple. Slipping into a pair of sweatpants, he moved out of the bathroom. He hummed gently to the melody that he was quickly coming to think of as their song.
“Brian?” He called as he saw that the bedroom was empty. The faint sounds of music crept into his mind. It was their song! He moved out into the loft proper. He halted on the steps that led up to the bedroom. The room was transformed.
The glow of the candles scattered around the room, made the otherwise stark and sometimes cold room feel warm and inviting. He took a deep breath and his lungs filled with the scent of roses. He somehow knew that from this night on the scent of roses would make him weak in the knees.
“What?” He looked around the room and spotted the man he was looking for lounging on the most sinful mountain of pillows he had ever seen, sipping wine out of a champagne flute. Brian held out his hand towards Justin.
“Come join me ... Sunshine …” Brian smiled widely; as he saw Justin’s lips curl into a pleased smile.
“What is the occasion?” Justin asked gently as he walked over to Brian, blue eyes pinning the older man in place. He stopped as he stood right at the edge of the pillows, waiting for Brian’s response.
“Do I need an occasion to do something special…ummm… let’s see you’re eighteen, beautiful and mine? “ Brian raised an eyebrow with a teasing grin. He held his hand out to the blond. The blond in question smiled at the teasing before grabbing onto Brian’s hand and gracefully taking his place by brunette’s side. Sinking down into the pillows Justin sighed and looked towards Brian.
They lay on their sides, facing one another.
Justin took a deep breath and kissed Brian gently.
“Thank you ...” he whispered the words against his older lover’s smooth lips, tasting the small amount of wine that his tongue had stolen from Brian’s mouth.
“You’re welcome…." Brian sat up and took down a plate from the table. It was covered with all sorts of delicious finger foods. The kind of food that was easy to feed another, as Brian showed Justin over the next half hour.
The boys took turns using each other’s chest as plates or feeding each other with their fingers. By the time the plate between them was clean, they were both horny but in no hurry.
