Part 2 - In the jungle
Hey guys, sorry it’s been so long!!! Cheers for the reviews, they’re what spurred me on to carry on going!
Sawyer walked through the jungle clutching his book, a look of mild anger on his face. It was night now, and after a few hours he had decided to walk back to the beach, taking a fairly scenic route in an effort to calm down completely. Unfortunately for Sawyer the route had become a little more scenic than he’d set out for and he was beginning to think he was lost. He looked to his left, he thought he’d seen something flickering in the corner of his eye, “Shit!” he said to himself quietly. What with all the trouble they’d been going through recently all he needed was to be found alone in the jungle. He crouched down and walked towards whatever it was, drawing his knife from his back pocket, he began to see flames through the trees, someone had set up camp there. He crouched in the bushes about 10 feet away and listened contently to see if he recognised any voices.
“I’m sorry I ki…” was it her? He shuffled closer, he could see two figures sitting by a fire, with torches lit around them.
“I’m not…” said the second voice. Sawyer moved as close as he could get, he was crouching on a small hill covered by vines from above, he could now see that the two people sitting by the fire were the two he was hoping it wasn’t. She was staring at Jack who looked up and met her gaze. She shuffled towards him on the log, and her hands moved up to touch his face. Sawyer felt himself gripping the knife as hard as he could. Jack leaned in and pressed his lips up against Kate’s and the two sat motionless for a few seconds, trying to savour the moment. Sawyer felt the knife press up against his leg as he watched them, anger boiling within him. She pushed in closer, slowly opening her mouth to let jack’s tongue slide past her lips. Blood started to trickle out of the cut sawyer was making in his leg as the woman he had fantasised about since landing on the island explored the doctor’s mouth with her tongue, gliding it across his teeth before meeting his own and letting out a soft moan. Jack’s hands had found their way to the bottom of her shirt, he pulled it up slightly, revealing her midriff as they fell back onto the log. Then there was a loud shout from behind them, as the figure of sawyer collapsed into view, his whole right leg covered in blood.

Sawyer had his arm around Kate’s waist as they hurriedly left the restaurant through the back door. They had seen the doctor character leaving, and had decided to pursue him.
“You go on, I think he’s just in front,” said Sawyer crouching behind a bin. “Stop him, get talking to him, I’ll catch up.” Sawyer picked up the think plank of wood that was laying next to the bin and watched as Kate approached the doctor, twirling her hair with her finger as she started to talk to him.
“Just wanted to say… thought what you did back there was really…” Sawyer jumped out from behind the bin and ran towards them, wood in hand. He swung it above his head and brought it crashing down into “Doctor Jack Shepard’s” shoulder blade. There was an almighty crashing sound and the Doctor fell to the floor. “Now listen to me,” Kate had changed completely from a warm bubbly woman to a complete bitch, and Sawyer loved it. “what happened to the suitcase that the man you helped was carrying?” Jack Shepard twitched on the floor, the left shoulder of his suit now covered in blood.
“I-i-I didn’t see…” Sawyer looked up at Kate and she nodded, smiling a little.
The plank was raised into the air again before being smashed into his right leg. Jack’s whole body convulsed and he let out a scream.
“We’ll ask you one more time Doctor, what happened to the suitcase?”
“H-h-h-his wife took it to the hospital with her…” Jack’s leg had been broken with the force of the hit, and he was starting to shiver.
“Damn it!” Shouted Sawyer bringing the plank of wood down again, this time into his left arm.
“Alright!” Jack shouted with the little energy he lad left. “She didn’t go to the hospital with it… s-s-she went home.” Sawyer was now grinning widely, he looked up at Kate again and could see that she was to. Sawyer lifted the plank of wood one last time and brought it down into Jack’s head, killing him in a splatter of blood which covered Kate’s black dress.

As Sawyer re-joined the real world he looked into the eyes of the man he had just bludgeoned to death and smiled, before slipping back into his dream.
