Cooter looked at them all in shock, "Ya'll knew about this didn't
you? That's why you were so upset when you found out who had
kidnapped Bo? You knew he had...I can't even say it. You knew he
had hurt Bo like that before, and that he probably was hurting him
like that now too. Why didn't you tell me?" It was Daisy who answered
for all of them, "Cooter it was Bo's decision to make not ours, I don't
know just when he told Luke but since they love each other it's only
fitting. As for me and Uncle Jesse what happened was, Bo got sick and
Luke was out of town and in his fever dreams Bo cried out against Jeff
only we didn't know that. He never said Jeff's name and that got
Uncle Jesse worried that maybe Luke had somehow forced Bo to be with
him. By the time Luke got home Bo's fever had broke so when Jesse
told Luke about the dreams and confronted him about it, Luke suggested
we talk to Bo. So that's how come he told us, if it hadn't been for
the fever dreams Bo probably wouldn't have told us either. I can't
really blame him, it ain't none of it his fault but I know if somebody
had done that to me, I wouldn't want anyone to know either."

do we help him through this?" Cooter asked. Luke looked at Daisy and
Uncle Jesse not knowing what to say, finally Jesse answered the question
"Just like any other bad thing a body might go through we be there for
him. That's really all we can do."

Over the course of the next several months they did exactly that,
they were all there for Bo as much as he would let them be. The most
difficult time had come during the trial of Jeff Miller, luckily since
kidnapping was a federal crime the trial took place in Atlanta. This
meant no one in Hazzard attended with the exception of the Duke family
and Cooter Davenport, Bo was very glad he wouldn't have to tell his
story in front of the town of Hazzard. Even though he knew it wasn't
his fault, didn't mean he wanted everyone to know, for one thing he
knew that if everyone knew there would always be those who thought it
was his fault. And if they found out about his relationship with Luke
they would be completely sure that Bo was to blame for his own rape.
Sitting in the witness box and facing Jeff Miller, telling a room
filled with strangers was one of the hardest things he had ever had
to do, it was almost like being raped again especially when the defense
cross examined him. Mr. Lawson did his best to make it sound as though
Bo were either lying or had wanted to be raped. Although it took all
the strength he had Bo made through the testimony, however as soon as
he left the courtroom he broke down. One of the court baliff's showed
them to a witness room where they could have some privacy, offering to
get them sandwiches and coffee he soon left to carry out his task. "Bo
darlin, it's gonna be okay. You did good Bo, I was watching the jury
while you was testifying there wasn't a dry eye there. He's gonna go
to prison for a long time for what he did to you. You should be proud
you faced him down and showed him that he didn't beat you, it ain't
gonna be easy I know that but from here on out you can carry that with
you. You are stronger than him, no matter what he did, no matter what
his attorney tried to do you stuck to your guns. You told them what
he did to you and because of that he'll be punished for it just like
he deserves." Luke spoke with strength and conviction. Just then the
baliff returned with coffee and sandwiches after he left they were all
quiet for awhile as they ate their lunch. When he had finished Bo got
up and went to look out of the window after several minutes he turned
to his family. "I just wanted to thank all of you for being here for
me, I know I couldn't have made it through without you." He walked to
Luke and took him in his arms, "I am especially grateful to you love,
what you said before well I am glad I was able to face him but it
wasn't my strength that did it, it was yours. Without your strength I
would have never survived what he did to me, even though you weren't
the first time it was your strength then too. All I had to do when I
felt like giving up was ask myself how would Luke handle this, remind
myself that you would never let him destroy you. Knowing that gave me
the strength to go on even when all I wanted to do was give up, to curl
up in a corner somewhere and die, so while your praising my strength
never forget I get my strength from you." Bo ended his speech with a
loving kiss. The trial ended with Jeff Miller's conviction for which
he was sentenced to twenty-five years to life in a maximum securtity
prison. After the difficulty of the trial Bo's recovery continued at
a much better pace, it seemed that after facing his demons in the form
of Jeff Miller Bo reached a turning point and knew he would survive the
things Jeff had done to him.

Two months after the trial Bo asked Uncle Jesse if he could go to
the Boar's Nest for a few hours so he and Luke could have some time
alone. Uncle Jesse left while Luke was in the shower, so it was that
when Luke stepped out of the shower he was surprised to see Bo waiting
for him. "Hi sexy, feel like a roll in the hay, without the hay?" Bo
asked in a husky voice, thick with desire. Luke stepped over to his
lover, "Are you sure? I don't want you rushing yourself, and what about
Uncle Jesse?"

"Love I am very sure, as for Uncle Jesse he went to the Boar's Nest for

"Well if your sure how about we take this party to our room. There
seems to be a bed in there calling our names." Luke gently pushed Bo
towards their bedroom as he spoke. Soon they were laying in their bed
showing each other just how much they were loved. As Luke began to
