Another Hand

Round 2
Well, here you go. More of the goodness that marked round 1, and somewhat naughtier. I just desired to make the characters not completely unbelieveable, and to make this scene a little better than the last. I am eager to hear if I succeeded or not.

Pairing: Ryan/Seth (Luke/Zach)

There was silence by the pool. Ryan was staring at Luke. Zach was staring at Seth. Seth was shaking his head and wiping his ear. Luke was shaking his head and taking a swig from his beer.

“Awsome,” Summer intoned solemnly.

“Awesome?” Seth looked at her. “Luke just licked my ear. With his tongue, I might add. How is that awesome?”

“Hello? Luke had no shirt on. And you looked like you were loving it. Your cheeks were all flushed. Very flirty. How is that not awesome?” She replied.

Seth’s hands went to his cheeks.

“Face, it Seth, when you are with Luke, you look hot,” Anna agreed.

“I look hot without Luke,” Seth said defensively. “Luke adds less than nothing to my heat.”

“Quiet. Let’s get on with this,” Luke said, his own cheeks red.

Ryan tapped the deck of cards that was sitting next to Seth. Seth shuffled and dealt. Ryan looked over, and Marissa was rubbing Summer’s shoulders. Summer was rolling her head around like her neck was stiff. Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off the sight for a second, but when Marissa noticed, she stopped abruptly. She smiled at him, leaned her head into Summer’s ear. Her hair hung down like a curtain, hiding her _expression from him. He heard Summer laugh, soft like the rain, and then they both turned to Anna and Buff.

“How many rounds are we going?” Zach asked as he picked up his cards.

“Till the slips are gone,” Ryan replied. “And don’t ask how many there are. You and Seth were writing like you were signing autographs at Comic-con.”

Ryan picked up his cards off the ground. 2 of diamonds. 3 of spades. 10 of hearts. 5 of clubs. Ace of diamonds. Nothing obvious here.

Ryan threw his ante in, and then took two cards. He looked at them and smiled.

Luke took three cards, and glowered at them. Zach stood firm. Seth scowled at his cards, chose two to throw back in, changed his mind, picked two others. Put them back in.

“Just pick, for the love of Pete!” Zach said.

“Quiet. Strategery, you know,” Seth said. He finally selected four of his cards, threw them in, and picked four others.

“Oh yea, plenty of ‘strategery’ in just getting a new hand,” Zach said.

Betting went around the ring for a few rounds. No one folded this time. Buff and Anna walked around the circle, looking at the cards the men held.

“Call,” Seth said. “Full house. Aces over tens.” He looked relieved.

“You threw four cards in and got a full house out? This sucks. Pair of Jacks.” Zach said.

Seth smiled and tapped his cards lying face up on the ground. “Strategery. Look it up. It works.”

“Two pair, tens and treys.” Ryan said.

“Straight! Two, three, four, five, and…” Luke’s voice stopped for a moment. “Shit. I may have miscalculated. Two, three, four, six, and seven of hearts.”

“So not a straight?” Ryan inquired, cocking his head.

“Not so much.” Zach agreed, smiling.

“Crap,” Luke said.

Ryan smiled a half smile.

“Yes! Safe!” Seth crowed, throwing his arms up as if he had called a good field goal. “Draw, suckers!”

“Seth? In the interest of not getting your ass kicked, I’d pipe down,” Ryan advised.

Seth looked around with his hands still in the air, lowered them slowly. “Um, yea. Sorry, guys.” But a smile quickly popped back on his face as the slip draw bag was handed to Ryan.

Ryan drew a slip, as did Zach and Luke. No one said a word. Seth did his best to look uninterested.

“Well, guys?” Summer asked sweetly.

Ryan’s mouth went dry. “Kiss left. Make it hot.” He looked at Seth, whose eyes got very big. “Hey! I’m out of this.”

“Not exactly,” Anna said. “You just didn’t have to draw.”

Luke read his. “Hickey left. Make it hurt. Cohen, if you wrote this, you are dead.”

“I wrote those,” Marissa said. “And I like them.”

“Dead might be good right now,” Seth said.

Zach read his, and sighed. “Blank.”

“Aww,” Buff sighed behind him, tossing her blond hair.

“Who is that chick?” Zach leaned towards Luke and asked.

“You got me. She’s hot, but I’ve never seen her before tonight. Anna’s cousin from Cleveland, I think.”

Marissa walked over behind Ryan and grabbed his hair. She pulled his head back, gently, and kissed him deeply, with her eyes closed. Abruptly she let his hair go, and he almost fell backwards. “Like that, Ryan. Make it hot.”

The other guys were staring at Ryan. Then they stared at Seth.

Ryan moved over towards Seth and stuck his hand out. Seth looked at it. “Don’t leave me hangin, man,” Ryan said. Seth clasped his hand.

“You good?” Ryan asked. Seth nodded. “Let’s do this thing.” Ryan smiled his crooked smile.

“Stop!” Summer said loudly. Everyone was startled out of staring at Ryan and Seth, and turned around towards her. “No one has taken anything off!”

Ryan took off his shirt quickly, slipping it over his head. His shoulders, broad and muscular, looked like they might be a little burnt. It was hard to tell in the moonlight and candles. He threw his shirt at Luke, who threw it in the pool.

“Don’t fuck with me, Ryan.”

“As I said before, hopefully not.” Ryan grinned, and he was beautiful.

Seth stood up quickly and slid down his shorts. He was wearing boxers with the American flag over them. Stripes across the front, stars on his butt. Luke got up, unbuttoned his shorts, and let them fall around his ankles. He was wearing white boxer briefs that hugged his legs closely. His outline was easily seen beneath the boxers, and he quickly sat down cross legged and leaned forward.

“Damn, Marissa. I see what you meant,” Summer said to Marissa, just loud enough to be heard by all. Marissa laughed. Luke and Ryan both looked pained.

Zach took off his sandals and tossed them aside.

“Hey, no fair!” Seth said.

“You want to see me in my underwear, Seth?”

“I do!” Buff said.

“Who are you?” Zach asked.

“Long story. You’d never believe it.” She replied.

“She’s with me,” Anna said. “You’ve been hanging out with her all night and you just now thought to ask?”

“Behold the power of blonde hair,” Seth said, looking sideways at Ryan as he was said it.

“And beer,” Ryan added, not noticing.

He looked at Seth. The circle of friends became quiet again. Ryan was standing up, although no one could remember his getting up. He held a hand down to Seth, who grabbed it and pulled himself up. He was slightly taller than Ryan, and Ryan leaned his face back slightly. He put his hand behind Seth’s neck and pulled Seth towards him.

“This is just us, ok dude? What’s done by the pool stays by the pool,” he said to Seth.

“Um, yea. I’m certain that this will never be discussed again,” Seth said without conviction. Summer giggled.

Ryan leaned in.

“Ok, Ry, breath mint? I mean, not that you need one. I need one. I need a breath mint. Anyone? Someone? Certs? And seriously, shouldn’t we blow some candles out? Cause this is way too lit. And how long does this kiss last? I did win last hand. I don’t think that I need to be kissed. Seriously, I’m good...Tryin’ to cut down…Ack! Timer! Someone, timer!” Seth said in a rush.

“Timer!” Zach responded, setting the stopwatch.

Ryan wrapped his arm around Seth’s waist and pulled him in. Seth was surprised by how hard Ryan’s muscles were. Thighs against thighs, hips against hips, Ryan’s hands tangled in his hair, Ryan’s breath in his face, warm, soft. Bare chest warm on bare chest. Ryan gently stroked Seth’s cheek, then moved back to his hair. Seth’s mouth was slightly parted, and he let out a slight gasp without realizing it.

“Fuck,” Luke said.

Ryan turned his head to the left a little, and pressed his lips to Seth’s. Seth idly thought that they seemed a little dry. Ryan did not force himself on Seth, just steady gentle pressure. Seth was sure that he was going to fall down. Ryan gently touched his tongue to Seth’s; Seth had forgotten that his mouth was open. It was soft, sweet.

Seth moved his hands finally to embrace Ryan as they kissed. They traveled down Ryan’s back to the small of his back, right above the band of Ryan’s shorts. Ryan paused, as if surprised, then just continued. Were the rules for kissing your best friend different than for kissing Summer? He was not on steady ground here, theory wise. He moved his hands back up again. The blood was rushing through his temples, his heart was pounding. He couldn’t breathe. His skin felt hot. Was he falling? He realized that Ryan had dropped him into a dip, and was still kissing him, their mouths joined. Ryan was a fantastic kisser, Seth thought, surprised. And his bicep is huge, he thought immediately afterward, not surprised.

“Time!” Zach called.

Ryan brought Seth back up to a standing position. He was flushed, and his hair was tangled from where Seth’s fingers had been caught in it. He was breathing a little harder than he had realized. He turned to Marissa with an inquiring glance and a raised eyebrow.

“Next time, I get to lead,” Seth said, trying to recover his cool.

“Only if you think you can dip me without dropping me, dude,” Ryan said back.

Round 3
Ok, so here is the long awaited next chapter in the continuing saga of naughtiness and debauchery by the Cohen’s poolhouse in the moonlight. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, here they are again: Luke, Seth, Ryan, and Zach, not to mention a few more of the OC’s best denizens. Is there alcohol? Oh yea. Is there nudity? For the first time of the stories, yes, someone does get nekkid. Maybe not the way you think it will happen. Is there boy kissing? Hmm. Is there contact between Ryan’s hand and Zach’s butt? Hmmm. Well, read and see, gentle reader. Oh, just so you know, the other two stories can be found a few pages back. If folks want, I can re-link to them just so everyone has a chance to catch up.

Once more, my idea here is not just for general PWP, but to hopefully stay somewhat in character and to also provide some humor. Hope I succeeded.

Round 3
Rating: R. Do not read at work.
Pairing: L/Z, with a little S/Z, R/Z spiciness.
