Something’s in the air
Something’s in the air
Hammond watched as the wormhole engaged and SG's 1, 2, 3, Atlantis, Major Davis and Martouf came though laughing and joking. Hammond smiled inside as he watched the newest team acted as if they'd always been there. Secretly Hammond had watched them since they'd found their way home. In particular he'd been watching Major John Shepard and the ever-annoying Dr Rodney McKay. He'd once joked with Carter at the party for her and Jack's promotion about how much they reminded them of Jack and Daniel.
It seems that was more then a joke,
Weir had once dropped hints after Hammond brought it up on just how close they where. Weir had been shocked when Daniel had let her in on his and Jack’s little secret so it was no shock to her when she walked in on Shepard and McKay in his lab. Secretly both men where her cup of tea. So walking in to McKay’s Lab and seeing the two men of her dreams half dressed and getting it on hot and heavy had filled more then a few of her thoughts.
Weir, Hammond, Jack and Daniel had come to an unspoken promise that would stay with them. They’d promised that Atlantis being not only civilian run base, but it was also millions of light years away from Earth so the Don’t ask don’t tell unofficially would not exist. On Atlantis people were free to be with whom they wanted. This had led to a few unexpected pairings. McKay and Shepard being the strangest but Ford and Beckett where a close second.
It had also led to a lot more transfers then any other base in history.
“I take it the talks went well?” asked Hammond as he joined the others on the ramp
“Yes general” said Dr Weir with a smile
“Well tie up your lose ends and then you all have two days of R+R dismissed people” Hammond smiled as Jack and the other saluted and then left.
Smiling he returned to his office.

Two weeks later
“Doctor?”
“I’m sorry general,” said Fraser as Hammond watched her tend to the men.
Over the last two weeks 5 men had been admitted to the infirmary suffering from vomiting, back pains and dizziness.
“They are all the same?”
“yes, he’s the fifth, so far Major Shepard, Major Davis, Major Kearney, Lt Ford and now airman Forrest have all been taken ill and I haven’t a clue why all I know is all five men where part of the treaty talks on Atlantis two weeks ago” said Fraser.
“Ok what do you suggest I do?”
“It’s my onion General that you recall everyone from that mission so I can check them because we could be looking at a lock down situation”
With that General Hammond got on the base phone and ordered Airman Davis to recall all teams. 10 minutes later Hammond was in the gate-room when SG1 returned
“SG1 report to the infirmary please” said Hammond over the speaker
“We need to anyway Carter and Daniel don’t look so good” said Jack then suddenly both Sam and Daniel blacked out and collapsed on the ramp.

2 hours later
“Jack” groaned Daniel as he came too
“You ok Danny you blacked out on us, gave us all a scare” laughed Jack worriedly
“Sammy”
“I’m fine Daniel just feeling a little woozy that’s all” said Sam who was sat on her bed
Just then Janet entered the room followed by Weir and Hammond, Sam tried to salute but almost collapsed.
“Whoa there Colonel” said Jack as he caught Sam
“Sam” said Janet as she helped them put Sam on the bed
“I’m sorry to ask this Sam but when was the last time you and Pete slept together?” asked Janet
“Couple of days after the mission why?” asked Sam
“I don’t know how to say this but you’re pregnant and if I didn’t know better I’d say you’re not the only one”
“Pregnant” said Sam shocked as Janet drew the curtain giving Sam some time to think before she went to check something.
Not long later Janet returned and she called to Hammond
“Doctor” asked Hammond
“Sir as you probably heard Colonel Carter is pregnant, well I checked her symptoms against the other and there the same. I ran some tests and as impossible as it sounds their all pregnant sir even Dr Jackson” said Janet as silence fell over the infirmary.
