Clark glanced at the clock on the wall of the Talon. Lex was twenty minutes late and he was getting jittery. The three cups of coffee he’d already drunk out of nervousness certainly weren’t helping matters either. He sighed and was debating whether to wait just five more minutes when he saw his lover enter the Talon quietly, looking flustered. Lex’s eyes skimmed the crowd and lit as he found Clark.

Clark stood as Lex walked to the rather secluded table. They met in an awkward moment. Clark wanted to kiss him, could tell he wanted to be kissed; but such a thing in the middle of the crowded coffee shop wouldn’t work.

Lex touched him on the bicep, a compromise. “Come on,” he said, laughing. They sat. “Sorry I was so late. Traffic was insane-”

Clark smiled. “No problem. I, uh, I was fine. How was your conference?”

Lex sighed. “Ah, more mind-numbing stockholder’s meetings. Try listening to Metropolis’s wealthiest discuss how to further expand their portfolios for four days, and see if your brain doesn’t melt. Four days where I could’ve been…” He licked his lips. “So how was school?”

Clark shivered as the mundane, rather rhetorical question was joined by Lex brushing his leg against his. Lex’s face was completely normal, but his eyes were dancing mischievously. It was their game, to tempt each other, and to do it in front of everyone. Clark forced down the desire to wipe that smirk off his face, throw him on top of the table and-

“Hey, Lex. Would you like some coffee?”

Clark started, thrown out of his fantasy when Lana suddenly appeared by them. He could see Lex biting back a laugh and could imagine his thoughts. Poor, naïve Lana… she had no idea what she’d just interrupted. Clark couldn’t help but snort, causing Lex to start laughing, which made Clark laugh harder.

Lana looked between the two of them. “Is there something I should know? What’s so funny?”

Lex composed himself first. “It’s really nothing, Lana, just an, um… inside joke. Some espresso would be great, and to go, please.”

Lana nodded, gave them an odd look and left.

Clark raised an eyebrow. “We’re going somewhere?”

“Just the mansion.” Lex grinned. “It’s a school night. What kind of person would I be if I kept you out late?”

“And this has nothing to do with that pool table idea we were discussing before you left?”

The pool table was one of the few flat surfaces Clark and Lex had yet to cover in their continuing sexual escapades. Almost three weeks, and they’d covered everything they could think of, including Clark’s bed, every bed at Lex’s mansion, the study floor, the top of his desk, the backseat of his car, his swimming pool, and finally the loft in the Kent’s barn. Clark was very satisfied with the last one; it was his goodbye to Lex before his conference- the first time since they’d gotten together that they wouldn’t speak to see each other daily- and he was proud to say Lex had reached new levels in his vocal abilities. The pool table was really an old daydream of Clark’s, and it’d intrigued Lex when Clark had mentioned it.

“Ah.” Lex smiled seductively and leaned forward, lowering his voice as he said, “Would that be the one where you first pin me to the table, tear off my clothes, and suck me off before… what was it? Throwing me onto the table and fucking me raw?”

Clark nodded, trying to ignore how hard hearing Lex say anything about sex made him. He returned the smile. “I’m disappointed in you, Lex. I would’ve thought you’d have added to it during those long, lonely nights in Metropolis. Tell me, when it was dark, and you were alone in your bed, did you think about me? Think about switching those roles, maybe? Was I the one being fucked into oblivion?”

Lex didn’t respond, merely met his gaze hungrily, assuring Clark that he’d been right about his dominant boyfriend. Clark could see the effect of his words on Lex, how they sent a shiver through the more-experienced man. He loved this. He loved finally speaking his emotions and desires and not having to care what anyone thought. He loved being seductive, and saying ‘fuck’, and exploring sex… thoroughly.

Of course, there were the quieter moments. When they weren’t racing each other to the next orgasm, and it shifted from sex to making love. Not that it could ever be just sex with Lex. He loved Lex, loved everything about him.

Lana appeared at their table once again. “Here you go, Lex,” she said cheerily. “Best one all day, I promise.”

Lex nodded appreciatively. “Thank you, Lana. Would you join us for a minute, if you aren’t too busy? When I talked to you the other day you mentioned some kind of deal with the bakery. What were you thinking?”

While they discussed business, Clark did his usual check around the Talon. He did it anytime they were together in public, quickly scanning the crowd to make sure no one had noticed anything. No one had so far, but it never hurt to be certain. Clark should know by now that even the most guarded things could be discovered.

He sighed inwardly as he thought about his secret. Keeping it from Lex had always been hard, but now that they were together, it was ten times worse. Lex had shared so much with Clark, so much of his past and his own closely hidden secrets. Clark wanted to tell him so badly. He didn’t want to hide it from the one person he’d ever really loved.

He watched Lex sip his coffee, watched his tongue dart out to sweep his bottom lip, and felt himself get harder. God, hurry up, Lex, he thought impatiently. Clark drank the last of his own coffee and reached across the table to grab a napkin. Along the way, he purposefully ran his fingers along Lex’s hand and almost grinned when he noticed the subtle tremble in Lex’s voice, always so smooth.

Smooth like chocolate, smooth like velvet… smooth like sex, skin on skin. That was his Lex. His. His, his, his, hishishishis.

Clark was still relishing in the word when Lex turned to him. “We should probably be going,” he said casually, and glanced back at Lana. “It was good seeing you, Lana.” They all stood.

Lana smiled. “I’ll come by with the dues tomorrow. See you at school, Clark.”

“Bye, Lana.” Clark turned to face Lex and found him watching Lana with an odd look on his face. Clark rolled his eyes. “What is it now, Lex? Wanna go discuss the worth of every bean in the Talon and just enjoy the sight of me going insane?”

“Do you ever think about her anymore?” And there it was. The question Clark knew would come eventually. Lex had always known the depth of his feelings for Lana. He realized that Lex wasn’t looking at him because he was probably too afraid he’d see something he didn’t want to see.

“Lex. Lex, please look at me.” Lex complied reluctantly. “I do, sometimes. I… Old feelings die hard.” Clark glanced over his shoulder and then back, smiling. He lowered his voice so only Lex could hear. “But I’m with you. I want you, Lex. I… I love you. I think of Lana, and I think of you, and… there’s no comparison.”

Lex gave a small smile, and his body tensed. It was obvious to Clark that Lex was fighting to the urge to kiss him. Suddenly, Lex broke out in a larger grin, his eyes glittering wickedly.

“Clark,” he said huskily, “I don’t believe we’ve christened the Talon yet.”

Clark grinned back. “Where?”

“The supply closet. Come on. We’ll pretend we’re going out the back way.”

Clark followed Lex, unable to keep the smirk off his face. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t get off on getting away with this in front of everyone. The perfect little farm boy, Clark Kent, about to fuck a Luthor right under their noses.

Lex glanced at him and raised an eyebrow. “You look smug.”

“Just get to the damn supply closet.”

“We’re here,” Lex announced, giving him an amused look. “And no one’s the wiser.” He tried the doorknob and cursed. “It’s locked.” He glanced around. “Maybe we could lock the men’s room or-”

Clark- having become slightly uninhibited due to the unbearable pressure building in his pants- tried the knob and easily broke the lock. “Lex,” he said, “look. Come on.”

Lex followed him inside, shaking his head. “I could’ve sworn that was locked.”

Clark shrugged. “Must have been stuck or something. I, uh, think it’s broken, actually.”

“Hmm.” Lex still looked suspicious, but in a second it was gone, and he was sliding the chain lock in securely. Turning back to Clark, he smiled. “Can’t have anyone interrupting, can we?”

Clark smiled back, moving to press his body against Lex’s. “What would they be interrupting? Please, be specific.”

Lex’s lips were on his suddenly, devouring him. Clark felt his body weaken as his hands moved across it, tracing along his skin. Lex laughed softly at his eagerness, breaking off.

“Get on your knees, Clark,” he murmured, his voice firm. Nothing could stop Lex’s inner megalomaniac.

Clark obliged, despite the sudden tightness of his jeans.

Lex arched an eyebrow at his unmoving form. “What are you waiting for, Clark?”

Clark slowly unbuttoned Lex’s pants and dragged the zipper down. He licked his lips, finding Lex had gone commando, having obviously expecting this.

Clark closed his eyes as he took Lex in his mouth, the taste of precum coating his tongue as he licked along the full length of his cock. He marveled at the amazing feeling of Lex, like silk-covered steel… With one hand he gripped Lex’s inner thigh, brushing his rough thumb across the smooth, pale skin; the other he slipped under Lex’s shirt to playfully tease his nipples as they rose against his hand. The cock in his mouth grew harder and Clark pulled back, taking only the tip. He held Lex’s slim hips with both hands and began moving in a fast rhythm. He saw Lex biting back a moan that surely would’ve given them away and grinned to himself.

He felt Lex shudder under his hands and moved faster, knowing he was approaching orgasm. Clark took his cock entirely in his mouth and suckled roughly, dragging his teeth across the sensitive skin.

“God, Clark,” whispered Lex hoarsely. “Harder…”

Clark tightened his hold on Lex’s hips and brought one hand down to tease the base of Lex’s cock, trailing across it lightly with his fingertips while Clark ravaged him with his mouth. He was rewarded when Lex growled in his throat, his head thrown back in pleasure and his hands gripped the metal table behind him for support.

“Fuck! Oh, God, that’s-” Lex’s voice hitched. “Harder, Clark… Oh, God, Clark… Clark!”

Clark felt his lover explode into his mouth, his body shuddering as he released. Clark pulled back, licking his lips clean. He stood and kissed Lex harshly. Lex responded in turn. Clark wrapped his arms around Lex’s body, pulling him up closer. He’d been kissed before he was with Lex, a few times: Chloe, Tina, Chloe again. But Lex’s kisses… they set his body on fire. Lex’s kisses made his blood race through him and his every sense go on high alert while everything around him seemed to dim.

“Turn around, Lex,” he breathed.

“What?”

Clark gripped Lex’s arms and swung him around. He was getting harder by the second, and he wasn’t it a begging mood. He yanked Lex’s expensive pants down to his ankles. He flashed over and grabbed the bottle of lubricant from his discarded jacket and was back before Lex could’ve noticed he was gone.

Clark hurriedly unzipped his pants, pulling out his rock-hard erection. “My turn, Lex,” he whispered in his lover’s ear. He grinned as he sensed the shiver pass through Lex.

Tossing the bottle onto the floor, Clark thrust a finger into Lex. Lex bucked into his chest at the sudden intrusion, biting back a moan. Grinning, Clark reached around and under Lex’s shirt, brushing his rough thumb over his nipples.

“Tell me, Lex,” Clark murmured huskily, “how many times did you imagine us screwing during your conference?”

“Clark, dammit…”

“Tell me, Lex,” commanded Clark. He pushed another finger in Lex. He heard Lex mutter something. “What was that?”

“Every day,” he growled. Clark grinned, satisfied with Lex’s submitting. “Every second. I couldn’t stop, I still can’t. Happy? Now will you please get on with it already? You’re hitting me just right-”

Without warning, Clark withdrew his fingers and thrust into Lex, all the way to the hilt. He heard Lex stifle a yell and didn’t care; he moved in and out in a slow, hard, torturous rhythm. He gripped the table to steady himself and drove harder. He dropped his mouth to Lex’s neck, brushing his lips over the smooth skin.

“God, Lex… I’ve missed this…” Clark’s breath hitched as Lex began rhythmically contracting on Clark’s cock. His knuckles grew white as he clenched the table’s edge.

Lex rocked back to meet his thrusts. “Come on, baby,” he murmured. “Come-” his voice cracked as Clark hit his prostate- “in me.” Clark felt his knees weaken with Lex’s voice and thrust faster, seeking release desperately. He felt a familiar tingling in his back and forced himself to calm down before he overtly used his powers. That was his last coherent thought as the orgasm hit. Clark keened low in his throat and bit Lex’s neck gently to stifle it. His heart raced and his mind went blank as he spilled into Lex and Lex came at the same time, arching his back and gasping and ‘beautiful’ was the only word Clark could use to describe it.

Gradually, Clark’s breathing slowed and evened out. He slid out of Lex and automatically zipped up his pants. Lex did the same. He leaned over and kissed Clark lightly, a satisfied smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

“If all homecomings are like this, I should go away more often,” he said.

Clark pulled Lex against his body and kissed him again. “Don’t even joke about that,” he replied laughingly once they broke off.

Lex smiled and glanced at his watch. He sighed and said reluctantly, “Looks like we’ll have to do the mansion another time. It’s getting late, you should be heading home. Did you bring your truck?”

Clark shook his head. “No, I walked here. Think you could give me a ride?”

“Yeah, sure-” Lex stopped all of a sudden, staring at something behind Clark. Clark spun around and froze. The metal table he’d be holding onto… the edge looked crushed, as if squeezed by someone extraordinarily strong who’d completely lost control. Clark’s mind whirled.

“Didn’t you see that before?” he asked, praying his voice was casual.

“No,” said Lex absently. “You did?”

“Uh, yeah, I felt it earlier,” Clark lied.

“Hmm,” was all Lex said.

He knew. Clark could tell. Lex knew that hadn’t been there before, and he felt like dirt lying to him. Worse than dirt. Slime. No, worse.

“Come on,” insisted Clark. “Let’s get out of here before someone notices we left, but didn’t get to the car.” He pulled Lex out of the door.

The ride to Clark’s was pretty much silent, though not entirely awkward. Clark spent the time brooding. This was bound to happen again, he knew. What if the next time it was worse, and he hurt- No, he couldn’t imagine hurting Lex. But, who knew the ways in which his abilities would develop. After the thing with his heat vision at the beginning of the year, he couldn’t afford to take any chances.

He had to tell Lex.

Oh, God, he had to tell Lex.

They arrived at the Kent home. Lex turned to Clark and smiled, a loving smile, a smile that nearly broke Clark’s heart because he knew what he had to do.

“When can I see you again?” asked Lex calmly, completely, beautifully oblivious.

Clark forced himself to speak. “Uh, tomorrow, actually. I can get my parents out of the house. Can you come over? There’s something I need to talk to you about. It’s… sort of important.”

Something flickered in Lex’s eyes for a moment before fading, something Clark couldn’t identify. “Of course. Should I be worried?”

Clark smiled as best he could. “No, don’t worry. I’ll see you tomorrow, around four thirty?”

Lex nodded. “I’ll be here.” Clark leaned across the seat and kissed him once more before smiling and getting out of the Porsche. He waved at Lex and began walking to his warmly lit house.
