Sweet Dreams
CHAPTER 2 : Sweet Dreams!
"Hey Coop! Hey, who's that?" Summer asked as she stamped on the tips of their cigarettes.
Marissa let Jan go, Jan instantly missed their embrace. *Busted!* She thought.
"Hey Summer! This is Jan Bristow. He just moved here!" Marissa said smiling.
"Summer Roberts, Jan Bristow. Jan Bristow, Summer Roberts." Marissa introduced them.
But when Jan wanted to reply to Summer, lights went on and his mom came out of the house!
"JAN BRISTOW! What did I tell you about smoking?" Sydney Bristow yelled at her only son.
*Oh my GOD, here we go again! Two girls already liking my boy!* She thought.
"Mom... so nice of you to join us; this is Marissa Cooper and this is her friend Summer Roberts.
Meet my mom, Sydney."
Sydney smiled. "Hello there, you two, I'm really sorry for what my son did, but...." She started...
"DID?! Sorry, Mrs. Bristow, Jan didn't do anything! Well, he was indeed smoking, and then I joined
him for a smoke and later my friend Summer came and decided to keep us company." Marissa interrupted.
Sydney looked at Jan. "Well? Is this true?" She prodded for an answer from her son.
"Yes, mom." Jan said. But his mom wasn't buying it. "Summer? Did you keep them company
before I came outside?" His mother asked Marissa's friend who had apparently joined the two...
"Yes, definitely, Mrs. Bristow!" Summer said. "Okay." Sydney's eyes softened up and she smiled.
"It's getting late. I just thought about telling you that, Jan."
Jan smiled. "Well mom, nothing to worry about: I still got my watch 'round my wrist and my cellphone in my jacket pocket, but thanks anyway. Say goodnight to dad for me." Jan said to his mother.
"Sweet dreams, all." With that said, Jan's mother disappeared again and headed right up the stairs to her bedroom where her husband had just gotten into his bed.
"What kind of trouble did he get himself into now?" Michael asked as Sydney leaned over to kiss her husband. "He was outside smoking, Michael." She told her husband. "Well, that isn't so bad now, is it?"
Michael asked as he watched his wife undress herself and slip on her nightgown. "Right?"
"With two girls." She said as she got under the covers. "You're kidding! After Lana and Lois, you'd figure he'd understand by now." Jan's father said. "Now their names are Marissa Cooper and Summer Roberts." Jan's mom said with a sigh.
"Well, I'm on my way to visit Seth Cohen." Summer said as she hugged her friend Marissa first and then her new friend Jan. "It was nice meeting you, Jan. Take care." Summer said and away she went to the Cohen's. Jan watched her walk away until she was out of sight, then turned to Marissa. She smiled at Jan.
"Jan?" Marissa asked as she got closer to him again.
"Yes, Marissa?" Jan said, as he watched her come closer.
"Could I stay at your place tonight? In the guest room?" Marissa asked him. "You see, my mom and I... we're having issues." Marissa explained to her new guy next door.
Jan didn't have to think twice, nor did he want to pry information from Marissa about her issues with her own mother, although he was surprised that Marissa Cooper wants to sleep in the guest room.
"I don't see why you can't stay the night." Jan said with a smile. "Let's get inside."
Jan leads Marissa up the stairs to the guest room after they went into the house.
Marissa softly kissed Jan's lips. "Thanks, Jan." She says as she gives him a hug.
Jan returns the kiss and hug, then says goodnight and goes to his own room, thus
leaving Marissa all alone in unknown territory.... the Bristow's guest room.
As Jan leaves the guest room, Marissa undresses, but leaves on her bra and panties... while Jan Bristow takes off everything from his body and gets under the covers in his own room. Marissa climbed into bed and closed her eyes as she hoped that sleep would come.
