rountine meet and greet- the encounter

Sam pushed timidly at the curtain. She hadn’t seen O’Neill since the accident. She stepped through the curtain that covered the doorway and paused taking in her surroundings. O’Neill lay on a bed in the centre of the room, arms and legs splayed out in every which direction. Tears ran from he eyes, he was ok. The Wound was completely gone, he was fine. The local doctor had removed his fatigues and replaced them with a light cotton pair of pants. The room was warm. Carter could see tiny beads of sweat covering O’Neill’s chest, hiding amongst the thin covering of hair that dusted his chest. Candles lit the room and incense burning slowly in the corner. She edged towards the bed. A small seat sat beside it. She sat and watched him silently. Very rarely did she get time to properly see him. She allowed her eyes to wander over faceface. His stubble was rough and unshaven, his cheekbones, soft but defined, his sideburns, cut short just below the top of his ear, the hair, now different shades of browns, greys and whites was soft and clean. She traced one finger through the scar above his left eye, a reminder of old battles he had fought. Her gaze travelled down to his chest. It lifted slightly as he inhaled. She watched the hairs of his chest move as he breathed. The hair lightly covered his pecks. Very faintly she could see a trail of hair travelling from between his pecks, past his belly button and down into his pants. His nipples peaked slightly as a cool breeze sifted through the room. One arm lay above his head as the other bent, his palm lying on his chest. The hair of his under arm was soft, warm and dark. His arms, muscular, strong and smooth were dusted with fine blonde hair and light freckles.
He shifted slightly in his sleep. His eyelids fluttered softly as he dreamed. A single tear escaped Sams eye as she watched him. She loved this man more than anything in the world. She watched him as he shuffles around as he dreamed. He seemed scared and agitated. He flung the sheet off in the movement, his sweat intensified. He called out; she couldn’t distinguish what he had said. His body tossed and turned. In worry Sam pout her hand on his damp shoulder. He was scared.
“ Colonel, Colonel it’s ok, your dreaming sir.” She crooned to him, trying to calm him. His panic increased. He kept on saying something; she didn’t know what to do.
“Sam…no Sam!” he called out.
“Colonel, you’re dreaming, it’s just a dream.” She tried to wake him, shaking him lightly but he didn’t stir. He was truly scared. She had never seen him like this before. She was scared.
Suddenly he sat up, shoulders hunched, sweat trailing down his chest, his breathing ragged and uncontrolled. He opened his eyes. He was crying.
“Colonel, it’s ok, it was just a dream.” Carter said softly trying to calm him. He looked at her, tears streaming down his face.
“Oh my god Sam, I thought you were dead!” he said through tears. Shock hit her, he had said her name, he had been dreaming of her. What did she do now?
“Sir, its ok.” She said, she wanted to comfort him, to take him into her arms. His tears wouldn’t cease; his body shook with fear and grief. She couldn’t help it, what else was she supposed to do? She reached one hand to him, wrapping it around him and pulling him into her. He collapsed against her shoulder in tears. Fatigue and exhaustion had brushed away his usual manner. She held his head to her shoulder waiting for him to clam.
“Sam, I’m sorry.” He said through tears.
“Shh, its ok.” She said, she raised her eyes up to stop tears from falling, he couldn’t see her cry. She wanted him so much, to be able to have him in her arms like this forever. She knew he was only using her name because of his state; he would never get so worked up over a dream usually.
He looked up at her. His dark eyes bore straight into hers.
“I’m so glad your ok.” He said.
“Sir it’s you that’s hurt, I’m fine. Honestly.” She wiped the tears from his face softly with her hand, “It’s all ok.” She told him. She stared into his eyes. She knew she shouldn’t but she couldn’t help it. Nothing could tear her eyes from his. Tears streamed from her eyes, she turned away to hide them.
“Carter, what is it?” he said sitting right up, slightly startled by her response. He was thinking straight again, he had called her Carter. She knew the one moment she had to finally hold him was over.
“Nothing sir.” She said, head still turned away.
“No it’s not nothing Carter, your crying.” He said, turning her head towards his with palm. His hand was soft; it sent a shudder through her back. Their eyes met, softly, longingly.
“Carter, Sam, what’s wrong.” He asked, his eyebrows rose in concern.
“Its nothing.” She repeated. His brow wrinkled as he looked at her. He stared into her eyes, He moved ever so slightly closer to her. His gaze drifted to her lips and back up to her eyes. He got closer and closer. Their lips met. She melted into him. She knew it was wrong but she couldn’t pull away. Her hand reached for his cheek, the stubble tickled her palm. She sighed. His tongue softly touched her lips, begging them to part, she couldn’t help it, and she opened her mouth to him. Caressing his tongue with hers.
Suddenly she pulled away.
“Jack, we can’t,” she said, staring down at her feet almost in shame.
“Shh, was all he said.” He pulled her in again and softly kissed her. She couldn’t pull away this time, she wasn’t strong enough. She let herself fall into him; she ran her hand down his bicep. She opened her eyes and found he was watching her, tears had returned to his eyes.
“Jack?” He soothed her, silencing her questions with a kiss. His arm feel down to waist, he pull her to him. They now lay together on the bed.
She allowed her hands on explore his chest as he caressed her back. Their kisses quickened. He rolled so he was on top of her.
“My god I love you Sam.” He said as he kissed her neck. She stiffened in surprise. He felt her reaction, and smiled to himself. “Sam I’ve always loved you. Ever since you first walked into that debriefing room and harassed me for being sexist.” He said, laughing through his kisses. She pulled his head to her and looked into his eyes.
“I love you too.” She said now crying; he smiled at her and kissed her. She ran her hand down his back, his spine arched as she sent shivers through him. His hand ran down her waist and up to her breast. He was soft and gentle, her body reacted to his touch, and he felt her nipples harden. She rolled him over, now on top of him she kissed his neck and pecks. Her tongue encircled his nipple; she licked down his chest and massaged his belly button. She got an instant response. She felt him stiffen. She grinned up at him, and moved to his face to kiss him, allowing her pelvis to rub against his groin. He groaned at her touch.
She kissed him and he rolled her over again. His hands crept to her t-shirt. He pulled it over her head. He sat her up; taking off her bra he kissed her. He pulled away to look at her. His eyes wandered down over her breasts to her toned stomach and back to her eyes. She was embarrassed, he could tell, she was red.
“God you’re beautiful Sam.” He said. Pulling her close. Their skin met, Sam felt a shiver run through her, tiny goose bumps covered her skin. He smiled into her kiss.
She ran her hand down his chest and to his pants. She stroked him, causing him to gasp. She smiled as he reacted to her touch. He lay her down again. His hands fell to her fly; he gently unzipped it and pulled her pants away from her. Again he saw her cheeks redden. He reassured her with a kiss.
Her confidence returned and she too slipped her hand to his waistband and pulled away his pants.
The both lay there completely naked in each other’s arms.
“Are you ready?” he asked her. She nodded and moved to allow him into her. She let out a groan as he did so. They both paused staring at each other. He kissed her, deeply and lovingly.
“I love you so much.” He said, tears now in his eyes. She smiled at him, wrapping her legs around his waist pulling him even deeper into her. He moved his pelvis back and forwards. She groaned into his chest, kissing him softly. Their bodies moved in unison. She knew this would probably be the only time she could love him like this, but she didn’t care, she didn’t care what the consequences were of this encounter it was all worth it, he was the love of her life and she could finally share this with him. She arched her back as they neared climax. His breaths grew deeper and less controlled, he thrust into her shuddering as he came. She followed close after. He collapsed onto her, breathless. She raised his head to kiss him.
“I love you.” She said.
“I love you too.” He smiled down at her. He rolled off her to lie next to her. He drew her to him, she rested on his chest. Hand caressing the hair. Tears of happiness again rolled from her eyes, she hid them from him but he knew. They both fell asleep, so happy and content to finally have each other, even if just for one night.
