My eyes open slowly. I am sitting on my chair in the Infirmiry, with my hand down my pants. Far down my pants. I pull my fingers quickly out, and glance around to make sure that I wasn't seen. Damn, I need to stop doing that, I think as I stand and straighten my clothes. I know that Sam would never in a million years notice me as anything more than her friend, and her doctor. Clearing my throat, I step out of the Infirmiry and almost run into Teal'c.

"Teal'c! What are you doing here?" I ask quickly; actually, a little too quickly.

"General Hammond has requested your presence at the next briefing, Doctor Fraiser," Teal'c says, in his neutral tone.

I stand, looking into Teal'c's eyes for a moment. "How long have you been standing there Teal'c?"

Teal'c's face, of course, shows no emotion. "If you are wondering, Doctor Fraiser, if I saw you pleasuring yourself, I did indeed."

I feel my face turn a bright hue of red. My stomach is doing flips, because I am sure that I called out Sam's name while I was 'pleasuring myself.'

"If you wish me to not speak of this, I will not," Teal'c adds, after seeing my discomfort.

"Thank you, Teal'c," I say quickly. I turn and walk back into the Infirmiry, not wanting to be in the vicinity of Teal'c at the moment. It's a good thing that I know that Teal'c will keep his word.

Going to the briefing was an odd thing for General Hammond to ask me to do. I am usually not one of the people included in SG-1's missions. However, there are those few times that I have been to other worlds, so I go without too much suspicion.

When I get to the briefing room, it is completely dark. No one is there, not even Teal'c. I wonder for a moment if I am confused on the time; but, no, it iss 1800 hours. Then, I hear a soft, sensual voice.

"There you are, Janet."

I turn at the sound that I have dreamed about for years; Sam's voice, husky, and speaking to me. Husky because of me. However, I have to keep the air of professionalism.

"Sam, are you all right? Have you been infected with that virus again?"

I think she probably has been infected again, because there she is, standing in the doorway to the briefing room, wearing a tight tan tank top, and her army standard fatigues. God, she looks sexy; her hair falling partially over her eyes; the shadows of the light outlining her curves. Her muscles.

She notices me gazing at her, and she smiles a devilish smile. "No, Janet, I haven't been infected by anything. I've just noticed how incredibly hot you are."

My breath catches in my throat when I hear her say that. As she moves closer to me, I can't help but step closer to her as well.

When my hand reaches out to take a loving hold on one of her breasts, it passes straight through her. She fades away slowly, her face lingering the longest, with that teasing smile. "Dammit!" I yell, quite a bit louder than I intended.

I hear footsteps behind me, and I turn quickly. "Janet, are you okay?"

Oh, Lord. It's Sam. This time she looks quite normal, wearing her army fatigues, a black t-shirt, and her army standard jacket. There is nothing sensual about the way she is looking at me, just worry shows in her face.

"Yeah, Sam, I'm fine, why?" I answer, trying to keep my voice from breaking.

"Well, Teal'c mentioned that you were a little ... distressed, so I thought I'd check on you."

Maybe that Jaffa can't keep promises after all.

"Nope, Sam, I'm just great. Actually, I'm heading back to the Infirmiry."

She gives me a look; raised eyebrow, quizzical eyes. "General Hammond wanted you at the briefing," she says softly.

"Oh, yes, that's right," I say, "I guess I'm sitting down then."

Sam gives a quick laugh as she takes a seat on the right side of the table. I take the seat next to her, and I can't help giving her a quick once-over before the Colonel, Teal'c, and Doctor Jackson walk in, accompanied by the General.

God, how am I going to get through this? I think briefly as the others sit down, and the General begins to speak.
