Healing
Ok, I'm so bored right now that I'm going to add more right now!! Yipee!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stood in front of the mirror that occupied the room I was in. I couldn't help but to stare at myself. Now I know why people were staring at me. My hair was shoulder length and blond. It was caked with blood earlier, but a nurse was able to help me wash it out. My deep green eyes looked dull and one of them was swollen shut. My skin was pale and I was covered from head to toe with deep scratches. Most of them needed stitches like the one on my forehead Lana tried to clean. My hands were completely swollen and I had no finger nails in my fingers. They said that one of my arms were broken, but I wasn't able to tell. It moved pretty fine and didn't hurt at all.
Clark knocked on my door, knocking out of trance. I looked at himas he eneterd and smiled. "Like my new dress? It's better than those rags I came in wearing." I triwled around, showing off the extra large hospital gown I worn. My preivous clothes were in the garbage. By the looks of them, it was once a red dress with no sleeves. But once I took it off, there was nothing but holes in it. Pointless to keep it, so I threw it away.
"You look goregous," Clark said with a laugh. He handed me a bag. "It's not much, just some old jeans and a T-shirt of mine. It should hold over until you get some new clothes."
I took the bag and threw it onto my bed. "Thanks."
"No problem. So what's going on?"
I sighed. "Those doctor people want to keep me here over night so they could run some test. The police are checking their missing persons report to see if anyone called in about me. Other than that, I'm stuck here, trying to remember any and everything I can about myself."
Clark sat down in the chair that was opposite my bed. "I wish there was some way I could help."
"You can," I said sitting on my bed. "Get me out of here. I heard the police talking and they said that if no one claims me, then they were going to put me into some institution. Whatever that is, but I don't want to go there."
Clark stared at me intensively. His blue eyes still sparkled even though his face was set. "Maybe you could come and stay at my place, but my parents would have to meet you first."
I smiled wide. "That would be great. Could I meet them tomorrow?"
"Sure." Clark stood and opened the door. "You know, if you remember anything, I'll be here if you want to talk about it." He turned to leave but bumped into standing in front of him.
The guy wasn't that much taller than me. He was dressed wearing an all black suit. His head was bald, something that surprised me seeing as how young he looked. His light green eyes opened wide when Clark looked at him.
"Clark, what are you doing here?"
"Lex, hey. I was visting my new friend here."
This guy, Lex, looked at me. Right when he did, a scene flashed into my head. I saw Lex, and he was bleeding. There was some guy standing over him, holding what looked like a steel pipe. He said something, but I couldn't hear him. I just saw his lips move. He raised the steel pipe and prepared to strike Lex.
When I opened my eyes, I was sitting on the ground. I don't even remember closing my eyes. Both Clark and Lex were next to me, asking me if I were alright.
"What happened?" Stupid question to ask.
"Lex asked if you were alright and suddenly you went nuts. You dropped to the ground and started screaming." Clark's blue eyes were filled with worry.
I looked at Lex. "Have you ever been beaten with a steel pipe lately?"
Lex looked at Clark, then back to me. He shook his head. "No. Why do you ask?"
I shook my head, trying to clear my mind. That scene, vision maybe, it was still stuck in my head. I wanted to be rid of it, but there it was etched. I could still see Lex, bleeding merciless as someone prepare to beat him.
I placed my hand to my head. I was drenched with sweat. "Nothing, forget it. I need some sleep." I wiggled myself free from the two and slowly made my way to the bed. I could Lex and Clark watching me as I climb into the bed.
"Clark, I'll see you tomorrow. Lex, nice to meet you." I pull the covers tight around me, turning my back to the two. After a few mintues, I heard footsteps and then the door closing. Great. Now I was alone to think about what just happened. I saw Lex being beaten. Did that mean something? I didn't even know Lex and I just had a vision. Was it even a vision that I had? I sighed and rolled over in the bed, so that now I was staring at the ceiling. Hopefully, I would regain my memory soon so I could find out who I was and get out of here.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, I'm done. Yea, I know. It's kina of short. But who cares. If you just read this, please, I'm begging you to review. I need your input.
