The Premonition. Part one.

Part Two

Paige looked up at Phoebe and then back at Piper and then stood up and tried to find her clothes and managed to pull on her ripped t-shirt that still left her right breast fully exposed and then slid her panties on and then her jeans before trying to say something to Piper, "It's not what it looks like."

"Oh really? Well it looks like you were having sex with Phoebe, so if you weren't, what were you doing naked together on the withwith your face between her legs!!!!?" I did have a premonition of us, well, you know, having sex and I was really upset about it and told Paige and then we fought and then, I'm not sure what happened, but we ended up....., " Phoebe paused for a moment then looked sheepishly at Piper, :"......you know the rest."

"Oh yes, I got quite the eyeful." Piper finally stopped pacing and sat down in a small chair and looked up at both of them totally bewildered, "What were you thinking? Do I have to explain some things to you two?"

Both girls rolled their eyes in unison and Phoebe knelt down beside Piper and put her hand in Pipers hand then took a deep breath then exhaled and began, "I know this is confusing for you Piper, it's way worse for us though. We didn't plan for this to happen. It was some spontaneous thing that probably happened for alot of reasons."

"Reasons!!!?" Piper asked, not sure if she heard her sister right. She got up and started walking out the door and Paige stopped her in her tracks, "I mean my god Phoebe,

"Don't go like this. Please. Just try and remember we both love you and you love us and we can get past this little incident I'm sure."

"Right now I don't want to get past. I just nee be be alone okay." Piper said softly and then walked out the room and down the hall and they heard her bedroom door close and Phoebe and Paige looked at each other and then slowly walked back over to the bed and sat down.

"I'm not sure we should even talk about this? Are you?" Phoebe asked an equally confused Paige.

"I don't know. Can we really just pretend it didn't happen? It was pretty intense don't you think?"

"Yeah it was that." Phoebe agreed and then stood up and walked over to her dresser and stared into the mirror.

Paige stood up and walked over to her and put her arms around her and Phoebe turned and gave her a hug and as they pulled away from the hug they continued to look into each others eyes and without saying another word leaned in and began kissing even more passionately than the first time.

As they all scrambled around the main floor looking for purses, briefcases and other odds and ends Phoebe and Paige ended up reaching for the last bagel on the table and as Phoebe's hand touched Paige's she got another more intense premonition.

This time she was Paige from a distance walking towards her. She was wearing a long black over rain coat and was smiling from ear to ear as she sauntered towards Phoebe.

It wasn't raining out but it was dark and looked fairly chilly out, but she couldn't make out where they were or what they were doing there.

Piper came in before Paige could ask any more questions and the three of them headed off to work.

The day was going by very quickly for Phoebe as she had immersed herself in her work and refused to slow down for fear of what she would start thinking about. She was in the middle of editing on article for her paper when Paige came into her office and closed the door behind her.

She sat down in front of Phoebe's desk and put her purse on the table and reached inside and pulled out a picture and handed it to Phoebe.

Phoebe took the picture and her face went blank and then she looked back at Paige and then back at the picture and she stood up and began pacing again.

Paige stood up and stopped Phoebe's constant pacing and sat her down in her chair and slid up onto her desk and grabbed the picture again, "Look at this Phoebe? It's us. Where did this come from?"

Phoebe wouldn't look at the picture anymore and had no answers for Paige and was beginning to get so confused she just wanted it all to go away.

Paige waited for Phoebe to say something but "Phoebe!! We need to talk. Someone took this picture and sent it to me. And no demon uses the post office to send stuff so this is a human. It has to be. Someone was watching us and now were in big trouble. Phoebe!! PHOEBE!!!!! Say something!!"

Phoebe stood up and walked over to her office door and locked it and then closed the blinds on the windows and sat back down and took another look at the picture.

It was a close-up of the two girls naked in bed kissing and it had to be taken from inside the room since there were no windows in the direction the picture was taken.

Phoebe grabbed the pictures and ripped it to shreds and then tossed the pieces into her purse so she could dispose of them in the fireplace at home.

"I know okay. I'm just trying to think. None of this makes any sense." Phoebe had got up and walked over to the window and just opened the blinds and stared out at the clear blue sky.

Paige walked over to her and put her arm around here and gave her a warm hug and looked out the window with her and Phoebe just turned into her and began to cry and Paige held her close and told her it would be okay and they stayed in that embrace for a few minutes with Paige running her fingers through Phoebe's dark hair and wiping the tears away from her pretty face.

Phoebe smiled at how sweet Paige was being to her and put her hand over Paige's and held it tightly and gave her another hug and as they broke away from it there eyes met again and soon they were kissing right there in the office with absolutely no concern about who might see them at that moment.

I think you two had better stop doing what your doing." she then took out an envelope and put it on Phoebe's desk, "This is what was in my mailbox at work this morning. Not exactly the kind of thing you want everyone to see."

Phoebe opened the envelope and saw even more pictures of her and Paige either kissing or having sex and then there was a videotape and she didn't have to put that in the VCR to know what was on it.

"Were sorry Piper. It's not like we planned this." Phoebe did her best to try and reassure Piper but could tell she was not having much luck.

Paige was still looking at the pictures and Piper gave her a strange look and she quickly put them down and stood up, "Whoever is doing this wants something or they wouldn't be playing these games. It's obviously some form of blackmail and we can't let them win."

Phoebe moved over beside Paige and then looked over at Piper, "I hope they don't win to, but we better find out who's doing this fast or we won't have a chance."

"I say it has to be someone we know. Someone who has a reason to blackmail us. And the only person who comes to mind is Cole." Paige blurted out quickly knowing Phoebe would not believe it.

"No way. He may be evil but he would never invade my privacy like this or make me suffer by blackmailing me." Phoebe did her best to convince both Paige and Piper as well as herself that Cole was not capable of this.

"Phoebe, get your head out of the sand for a minute. Cole has not been happy since you left him. I really doubt he would let you be happy with anyone else let alone me. So if he did find out about you know, us, I think it might just be enough to make him snap even further." Paige tried to say it as nicely as possible and she could tell it was beginning to sink in as Phoebe had no quit defense of Cole this time.

"Phoebe, I think Paige might be on to something here. It would explain how alot of this stuff was happening when there is no logical way it could have. We at least have to look into this." Piper was looking right at Phoebe when she said this and Phoebe walked back to her chair and put her head on her desk and just sat there.

Finally she sat back in her chair and looked at the two girls, "Okay, let's find out if Cole has anything to do with this. Then if he is we will deal with it. If not we are no closer to solving this than before."

"That's fair enough. Can you still get in touch with him somehow?" Piper asked.

"Not anymore. He pops in when he feels like it but I have no way of contacting him. He has changed since I left him and if he was hard to read before now he's impossible to read. I just can't believe he'd do something like this."

"Well believe it. He is into control. He is not into rejection and he's not into watching you be happy with anyone but him. I think he'd be doing this regardless of who you were with now." Piper added emphatically.

Paige could see Phoebe's face start to get sad and walked over and gave her a big hug and Piper was looking at the two of them and shaking her head, "What are you doing? Stop this. And my god do not be doing that in front of me. I am be no means ready to deal with whatever the hell the two of you are doing now."

Paige pulled away from Phoebe and moved back over and sat down beside Piper, "Sorry." she smiled at Piper and then turned back to face Phoebe, "We better get moving on this before this gets any worse."

Phoebe laughed at the idea it could get worse and as she did the phone rang and she picked it up, "Hello?"

"Go to Pier 60 tonight at midnight and wait for another phone call. You will have all your questions answered then. Don't be late." the voice said and then hung up.

Phoebe hung up the phone and looked at both girls, "Well, we may have out answers as early as tonight if that message was real."

"Who was it?" Piper asked.

"It was all muffled by some kind of device but I was told to meet them tonight at the pier at midnight and all my questions would be answered. So I have no choice. We have to check this out and see if it has anything to do with these." Phoebe said holding up the pictures and the videotape.

The three girls agreed to talk more tonight at home before deciding on whether to bring Leo in on this.

Piper was about to leave and saw Paige standing close to Phoebe and she grabbed her by the hand and dragged her out the door with her.

Phoebe smiled at Piper and waved to Paige and then sat back down and got back to work.

That night they had another quite dinner and since Leo had joined them it was even more awkward and quiet than the last one.

Leo was very aware of this and finally asked Piper what was going on.

Piper looked at Phoebe and Paige and shrugged her shoulders as if to ask what she should do and Phoebe took that opportunity to jump in, "Leo, you can tell there is a bit of tension between the three of us now and were sorry about that. Really we are, but were just going through some sister issues and are slowly working to resolve them as soon as possible."

Leo could tell double talk when he heard it and he once again looked at Piper and asked her to tell him what this was about.

Piper did not want to get in the middle of this but she was and yet she knew she couldn't tell him the truth and yet she hated lying to him so she was not pleased with the situation she had been put in and both Phoebe and Paige were pleading with their eyes for her not to say a thing and she gave them a fake little smile and turned back to Leo, "Well there isn't alot to tell honey. We are having a bit of a disagreement and we will work through this. We always do."

"I don't want to pry but this seems different somehow. But, I'll give you some time to sort this out if that's what you want."

"Thanks." Piper said softly and then reached out and touched his arm and gave him a warm smile hoping that was the end of that for now.

Paige and Phoebe just let out a sigh of relief, finished eating and quickly headed back upstairs so they wouldn't have to lie to Leo either.

Once in Phoebe's room the two girls were giggling as they closed the door and they both lay down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling.

Paige turned to Phoebe and put her hand on hers and held it tight, "I do like this you know."

Phoebe turned to face Paige, "Like what?"

"This. Being with you. Just holding your hand. Just the little things. I never realized how much they mean to me."

"I do to." Phoebe agreed then leaned over Paige and looked into her eyes and just smiled and let her hand run through Paige's now thick red hair, "If I keep looking at those sexy lips of yours I'm going to have to kiss them you know?"

"Is that right? Well, who am I to stop you?" smiled Paige as she leaned up and met Phoebe's lips with hers and kissed her softly and put her arms around her and began kissing her very hard and deep and before they could get any further Piper once again came barging in.

She saw the two girls kissing and threw her arms up in the air in disbelief, "What the hell is going on with you two? Are you in heat or something? Please tell me this was a premonition and you had no control over where you put your lips anymore?"

Phoebe and Paige both got up and walked over to Piper and sat her down on the bed and tried to calm her down.

"I want to say sorry, but I can't. I'm not sorry for what just happened. I am sorry you had to barge in and see it again though, but that's another thing. I think what Paige and I have discovered is that we have real feelings for each other. And if these premonitions were supposed to be stopped they would have been. But I sa's f's fate that we ended up well getting together and exploring our true feelings." Phoebe explained to a very disinterested Piper.

Paige then took her turn, "Phoebe is right. I think we've always had this chemistry together. Right from the first time we met. I was drawn to Phoebe in a way I can't explain. It was more than just a physical thing and more than just a blood tie or bond. I know this is not easy to hear and lord knows it's not easy for us to accept either, but I think we were meant to be together. Destined to be together even."

"Okay, that's enough." Piper snapped then stood up and faced the two girls, "This will not happen. So you better get your hormones in check and stop playing kissy face and concentrate on finding out who is doing this and then and only then will we talk about this. And until then keep your clothes on. Is that clear?"

Phoebe knew it was not wise to argue with Piper when she wo seo serious so she just nodded like a good little girl and so did Paige and Piper let out a small sigh and was about to leave and again turned back to look at Paige, "Hello? Paige, time to go. There will be no sleep overs allowed until we sort this all out. And even then I am not sure there will be, but you two have to promise you will not have se..... I can't even say it. You won't touch each other until this is over. Now stay in your own rooms until we leave at 11!!"

"Okay Piper. No touching. Got it." Phoebe said with a hint of a smirk.

Paige smiled at Phoebe and then was dragged out of the room by Piper and led to her own bedroom and Piper went back downstairs and tried to have a quiet evening with Leo until they had to leave.
