Summary: Ryan sees an ad for the Renaissance art exhibit in the paper and gets his lovers to join him.
Museum
Ryan was excited. Tim and Horatio had promised to take him out to the Renaissance Art exhibit this Saturday at the Miami Art Museum. He knew that both of his lovers enjoyed these outings so he was quite happy to spend some time looking over old classics with them before they spent the rest of their weekend at their home.
Meeting his lovers at their townhouse, Ryan got into Horatio’s Jeep and they headed off to the exhibit. As they drove, Ryan and Tim began talking about the benefits of different types of gene alterations and why so many people want them. Horatio smiled at his lovers’ enthusiasm and tapped Tim on the shoulder when they arrived.
As the trio walked in they missed seeing Calleigh and Eric entering as well. Both knew that Speed and Ryan were in a relationship, and wondered why Horatio was with them as well.
Ryan was in his element. Art had been a form of release for him due to his OCD tendencies and he could see things that others couldn’t in the paintings. As he grew up, art was the only thing that didn’t cause his OCD to go into overdrive, making his family ecstatic. As he talked away about the paintings and the message that the painter was trying to give off, Ryan missed the fond look that Horatio and Tim sent his way.
Horatio led them towards a secluded area and kissed his youngest lover and smiled down at him when he was done. Seeing the adoring look in Speed and H’s faces made the smaller man blush. None saw Calleigh and Eric looking at each other with raised eyebrows.
Smiling, they left the trio to their viewing, and decided to call it a day, they made a vow to themselves that they would protect the trio’s secret and left the building.
Back in the art room, Ryan was trying to will his blush away as H and Tim smiled at him. Sending a shy smile their way, he slipped past them and went back to his art. Tim chuckled at Ryan’s predicament and promised him that he would help him get back at Horatio for making him blush.
As the day went on, Horatio and Tim took turn snapping pictures of Ryan and his paintings. The openness on his face was a sight to behold, and Horatio was glad that it was still there. After Ryan’s Uncle Ron had passed on, their young lover retreated in on himself. After many talks, tears and bruises, Ryan was finally coming back to how he was before.
Walking back to the Jeep, Horatio was glad that they were going to be at the town house for the weekend. The smirk that Tim and Ryan shared made him shiver in anticipation.
