“Amy, Lindsay, are you two about ready to go?” Grissom called from the living room.
“Yes, where are we going Uncle Gil?” Lindsay asked.
“To the amusement park…unless you protest.”
“No, the park is cool.”
“Alright, lets go.”
Catherine looked at Sara as Grissom left with Lindsay and Amy.
“I never thought I would see the day that you had children, Sara, at least not with Gil.”
“Me either.”
They sat on the couch.
“Cath, did you have problems with Lindsay?”
“Did I? Sara, I still do. Ever since Eddie died it hasn’t been easy. At least you have Gil.”
“Yes I do.” Sara smiled. “Thankfully. He is so good with them.”
“He has always been good with Lindsay. She thinks the world of him.”
“So does Amy. She loves him like a dad.”
“What does she call him, Sara?”
“Grissom.”
“Why doesn’t she call him dad?”
“I’m not sure. I will definitely have to ask her.”
“I’m sure Gil wouldn’t mind.”
“I know he wouldn’t.”
“Has Sam started talking yet?”
“Sort of, just mumbling for the most part. She says ‘mama’ and ‘da’ and ‘am’.”
“They are so cute when they are small…then they grow up.” Catherine laughed.
“Are you trying to scare me?”
“Is it working?”
“Not really.”
“Then no.”
They both laughed.
“Yes, where are we going Uncle Gil?” Lindsay asked.

Catherine looked at Sara as Grissom left with Lindsay and Amy.
