After a few hours in each other’s arms. They both got up. “Honey”? Nicola said as she picked up her clothes. “Hhmm”. He said looking for his trousers and pants. “I was thinking”. She said. “About me I hope”. He said drawing her into a kiss. Then went back on the search for his trousers. “About both of us actually”. She said pinching his bum. “Keep doing that and we won’t leave this garden”. He warned her, who stuck her tongue out at him. “Can we stay like this”? She asked him. “What naked”? He asked. She nodded.
"It’s not like we’re in public or something, and when we do step outside we’d be dressed, or if mum and dad came along for a ride one day. But as it’s just us plus the pets and the TARDIS herself”. She said walking over to him and gave him a cuddle and kiss. “I don’t see any harm in it”. He said sweeping her off her feet and kissing her. “Do you know how much I love it when you do that”. She said to him and he smiled. He walked out of the garden room with her in his arms and took her to the swimming pool and with an evil grin chucked her in. Nicola broke to the survive of the water and screamed. (She couldn’t swim and he didn’t know). “Help”! She screamed. As she ducked under, drawing water into her lungs. She came to the survive again and looked to The Doctor who was laughing, “I…CAN’T…” and went under for the last time. She sent all her last thoughts and memories up to him. Of a six year old nearly drowning at a swimming pool in her hometown and another of her nearly drowning in the sea, Then she sent the words to him. “I CAN’T SWIM, I DON’T KNOW HO~”. Then everything went blank. He got the message and dived in and got her up to the air, but she was limp. “Don’t do this to me Nicky”. He said blowing into her mouth a few times. He felt for a pulse, then felt her two hearts, one was beating very slowly. So he breathed into her mouth again. “Come on Nic”. He said as he did it again and again then. “Oock! Oock!” she coughed bringing up water. “Oh Nic honey, I am so sorry, I didn’t know”. He said as he moved her on her side so she could get the water out. As he rolled her back onto her back, she put her hand on his cheek. “It should be me saying. Oock; sorry I was… embarrassed for not being able to swim, I’m not afraid of the water or anything I just don’t know how to swim”. She whispered as her throat burned with pain. “I’m sorry”. He said and he started to cry. “Don’t blame yourself for this please, honey”. She said with tears in her eyes, he looked at her. “I should’ve told you before, when we were on Atreks, but I thought you’d make fun of me, like when my old school friends use to do when they found out”. She said to him. “I would never make fun of you. Never”. He sobbed as he moved her hair out of her face. “I’m sorry”. And they fell silent for a bit, both hearts beating together.
