Sitting in a dark room with only the light from the computer monitor showing, reflecting off his glasses, Chuck rubbed his grizzled chin and stared what he had just written, feeling slightly sick about what Sam must be going through right about now. There was a knot in the pit of his stomach from the raw emotion that he was trying to pour onto the page over it but it was something he felt he HAD to do, that there was no way around it. This was going to signal a huge shift in the plot of the story and it had to be done to get things going the direction he needed them. But what he was putting Sam through was nightmarish and he knew it. No one wanted to be on the end of a true sexual assault, especially one done by a demon who would do anything to accomplish the goal of binding them forever. It was rotten, he knew that. Hence his feelings of guilt over the matter. Taking a sip of the amber liquid in the glass that was always present on his desk when he wrote, he made a few small changes in the text that he was reading through, correcting some errors that he had found. But, overall, despite the nature of what he was writing, he was pleased with how it was going. Unlike some times in the past where it was struggle to get down on 'paper' what was in his head, this was flowing very well. In fact, he was sure that it was some of the best work he had ever done in his life. Though Sam had given him fits working with him up to this point he was now cooperating just fine so it was smoothing out. He just had to get over this hump and write out the distasteful scene then he could move on to ensuring things went just how he planned. After all, the hard part was over by now so there was just a few more nudges to go and he could make his race towards the end. Finishing the last of what was in his glass, he poured himself a couple more fingers of the potent drink from the ever present bottle. After taking a small sip he sat the glass down in its anointed place then cracked his knuckles before focusing intently on the screen. Putting his fingertips on the keyboard, he stroked them softly as he stared at the last couple lines he had written. Nodding, knowing for sure where he was going from here, he muttered, “Sorry about this, Sam. I promise it'll be over soon. But it's gotta be done! Let's get to work then, shall we?” After that, his fingers began to fly over the keyboard as the rest of the nightmarish scene began to unfold on the blank part of the page before him. He was sure it was going to be one of those all nighters he pulled when the ideas were flying quick and fast, demanding to be written. It would, most assuredly, tire him out but, in the end, it would be worth every bit of it. As the wind kicked up outside, driving the cold rain against the side and windows of the house, Chuck couldn't hear any of it. He was too intent on what was coming to him to be pulled out of it for anything. He was, after all, someone with a true purpose and he had to fulfill it.
Struggling against the demonic strength that kept his arms behind his back, Sam desperately tried to free himself but knew it was a losing battle. The body Ruby was inhabiting belonged to a naturally strong being to start with but add in her inhuman strength and the truth was that he probably wasn't going to get free from her grasp. There was one huge meaty hand clamped over his mouth so he couldn't let out anything but muffled sounds, something that wasn't going to attract anyone's attention so, unless someone happened by and saw what was going on he was well and truly fucked. Or going to be from the feeling of what was going on, something that added to his panic.
When Ruby had undone his belt then managed to get his pants and underwear down, he was beside himself, doing everything he could to get free. The only thing that kept coming to mind was most of the really old and powerful binding spells he had looked into involved sexual magic of some kind. He was sure that she was doing that though he had no idea which one it might be. But he knew he had to get loose somehow or she was going to succeed. Then, when he felt the bare thighs of the body she was inhabiting rub against the backs of his, what was between his legs beat a hasty retreat, something that felt like everything was trying to crawl back up inside him. This wasn't good, not at all, and he knew that unless something came along to put a stop to it, she was going to manage whatever it was she was setting out to do. The best he could do was wiggle around, trying to keep throwing her off until Dean came along. It was his hope that with his brother's observational skills, he would notice something off and stop. That was about the only thing Sam could think of doing so he set to work, screaming in his mind for Dean to hurry the hell up as he wiggled all over, doing his best to not hold still long enough for her to accomplish what she wanted.Alright, very quickly Ruby was getting frustrated with what was going on. First, there was the fact that the meatsuit she was occupying, some lardass local rancher, didn't want to stand up and salute, so to speak, when she needed him to. Her occupying his body, despite the fact that she was employing every bit of foul language and sexual descriptions she had to him wasn't doing the job. She guessed the fact that his body was about to violate one of the same sex was putting a damper on the festivities inside his mind. As quick as she could, she was able to dredge up a couple of his favorite fantasies and employ those to get the flesh to rise. By then, the second frustration was kicking in; Sam was wiggling all over the damn place, making it hard for her to get flap A into slot B. Since one hand had to be clamped over his mouth and the other had to partially hold onto him, she didn't have any free limbs to force him to hold still. There was also the fact that she was working blind with this. Whatever he was using to conceal himself let him invisible except for the most basic of outlines caused by the snow falling on him, outlining him slightly, and the clothes she managed to get down so she had to work without truly seeing her prey. That wasn't helping anything! Her first instinct was to hold onto him then whisk both of them away somewhere so she could complete the deed without all this bullshit. But whatever he was using to conceal himself wouldn't allow her to do that, she had attempted it but it didn't work, so she was stuck trying to perform the act here. As Dean was close by and apt to wander along any second, she needed to hurry the hell up! But, to this point, all she was able to manage was to get the lardass' cock lodged between Sam's lower cheeks, not do the penetration. He was wiggling around too much to allow her to do the actual insertion, something that was royally pissing her off! Frustration starting to take over, she thought of letting loose of him for just a moment and clocking him a good one but decided against it. With as honed as his instincts were, not to mention the panic he had to be feeling over the situation, he would manage to take advantage of that, she was sure. No, she just had to keep going about it this way. All she really needed to do was penetrate, do a very short chant then force him to ingest a small amount of her blood, that was it since she had dosed him up good before with her blood, weakening the tie that was already there. It was enough to override what Azazel did and take the first step of binding him to her. For now, it would work. It would do enough of a tie to where she could find him no matter where he went or what he used to conceal himself. But the theory and accomplishing it were proving to be two different things.
Crushing him tighter against the tailgate, she hoped that would take some of the wind out of him so she could work with it easier then, once more, tried to get the meatsuit's dick into the right place.
Being shoved harder into the tailgate sent Sam's panic higher as his ability to breathe decreased. This wasn't good and he knew it. As he felt the erect cock press deeper between his cheeks, he was almost resigned to the fact that he was about to be raped but wasn't about to make it easy on her either. Continuing to wiggle all over the place, he clenched his cheeks, trying to either force the damn thing out of there or stall it's progress, one of the two.
As he was pushed even further into the tailgate and black spots were dancing along his peripheral vision from his inability to breathe, he glanced around frantically and saw what was a Godsend; Dean was walking their general direction, carrying the bags of food. Though he didn't appear to be paying attention and where he was being held captive was out of the direct line of sight from the main walkway, he was sure he could do something to get his attention.
Thinking quickly, he did the only thing that came to mind. Taking into account what Ruby once said about being able to feel pain when possessing someone, he bit down on the hand that was over his mouth. Though she didn't remove it, she loosened up enough that he could at least let out a muffled shout of his brothers name. No, it wasn't loud but he was hoping it was loud enough that it would get Dean's attention. Once he did that, he went back to wiggling and fighting the best he could, putting more effort into stalling things to give Dean a chance to do something.
Pulling the collar of his jacket up to block off some of the brisk wind that was kicking up even harder than when he went in, Dean made a beeline straight for the room he knew Sam was waiting for him in. Clutching the bags under his coat in order to keep the food warm, he hurried along as fast as he could, not really paying attention to what was going on around him.
As he was passing by where several vehicles were parked in a cluster, he thought her heard someone, who's voice sounded muffled, calling his name. Stopping, he listened closely but couldn't hear much above the wind. Being in the line of work he was he wasn't about to discount what his ears had picked up and was sure he had heard his name. Glancing around through the swirling snow, he tried to spy who, or what, might have done it. At first he saw nothing and was about to move on but there was that nudge in his brain, his hunter's instinct, that told him something was up and he needed to find out what it was. Looking at a cluster of vehicles that were shrouded in the blowing snow, he stepped closer to them to see if there might be something hiding there, hand automatically going for the butt of his gun. Squinting his eyes slightly against the snow that was obscuring things, he thought he saw some shapes near one of the pickups and heard some kind of grunting noise. Cautiously moving that direction, he pulled the gun out but kept it under his coat unless it was just some local doing something as mundane as changing a tire. No sense in panicking one of the straights after all. When he got nearer to the place he quickly got an eyeful and the gun came into full view. Seeing Sammy, face bluish, the kind of thing you saw when they couldn't breathe right, mashed up against the tailgate of a pickup with his pants down, he dropped the bags he was carrying and leveled it at the big dude behind him, trying not to see that he had his pants down as well. That was, well, ODD. Guys didn't generally need to drop trou if they were doing something like this unless they were on the receiving end. They just unzipped and pulled it out. That sent of some kind of warning flare in his brain and nudged him into thinking this wasn't human.Jaw clenched, pure fury written on his face, he hissed out, “Back off, dude! Or I'm going to shoot!”
Alright, it was official, Ruby was pissed! She did NOT need Dean around right now to fuck things up! This was hard enough as it was and him being there wasn't going to improve things! However, since it wasn't the Colt that he was leveling at her, he wasn't going to hurt her with the damn thing either so she was going to keep going, hoping like hell that she could succeed before he figured out she wasn't human.
Focusing back on the wiggling Sam, she mashed him as hard as she could against the truck then shoved her hips forward, hoping like hell for just a little bit of penetration. She didn't need it all the way, just a little, for things to work. That's all she was going to go for so she could chant then do a couple drops of blood before getting the fuck out of there!
Sam had hoped that Dean showing up would end it but it appeared that Ruby was going to go for it. With Dean not knowing this was her, he would be on edge and thinking not human but wouldn't know. That meant he had to do something to convey to his brother what he was dealing with.
Thinking quickly, he decided to go with what seemed to have worked before and hope it did again. Biting the hand as hard as he could, he felt the grip loosen a tiny bit then barked out “Demon!” as loud as he could. Though it was muffled by the massive palm against his mouth, he was praying that Dean caught enough of it to get what he was going for or, at the very least, give him a clue that he could build on and figure it out. That was, right that moment, about the only thing he had to work with. Wiggling around more, he was hoping to buy enough time that Dean got it to stop this!Inching closer, eyes hard, Dean was focused on the man that dare try to molest his Sam! “Dude, one more chance! You stop or I start shooting!” He snarled out. But then he was distracted. Sammy had managed to get out something muffled. Knowing his brother the way he did, he was sure he was trying to impart something important to him.
Brow furrowed, he tried to figure out what his brother had said since he really couldn't understand it since it was so garbled because of the hand over his mouth. Processing it as quickly as he could, he was frustrated since he couldn't figure out what he was saying. It sounded like it started with d and was a short word but that was about all he could get. Immediately, his brain went to the natural thing when it came to something starting with that letter; demon. Figuring that this probably wasn't a true human since he hadn't commented or even stopped at the threat of a gun, even the looniest of humans had some kind of reaction to it, he was going to go with demon and try that. If it wasn't, he would move onto something with the weapon, no matter how much attention it drew to him. Hand slipping into his pocket, he grabbed the small jar of holy water he always kept there. Taking it out it out, he pulled the cork and let it fly, saying the first couple of lines of the standard exorcism he had long since memorized. The effect was immediate. With a howl of agony, the beings skin began to smolder and the eyes turned black. Knowing he was now on the right track, Dean let more of the water fly as he continued to recite the Latin, voice growing firmer as he did.
Once the older hunter began with the holy water and exorcism, Ruby knew the jig was completely up. There was no way for her to complete what she started this time. After glaring and hissing at Dean, cursing him roundly in her mind, vowing that she wasn't going to give up, she vacated the meatsuit in a cloud of black smoke, swirling away to regroup then, once more, cling to Dean's ass to get another shot at Sam.
Immediately after being let go of, Sam collapsed to the ground, trying to catch his breath but, along with that, he was scrambling to get his pants up. They needed to get out of there NOW. Since Ruby hadn't been killed he would bet anything she hadn't gone far and would try it again when she got the chance. That meant that he had to get out of here and somewhere safe. Coughing a bit as he pulled much needed oxygen into his lungs, he shifted around, trying to get his pants up.
After a quick look around to ensure that the demon was gone, Dean slipped the gun back where it belonged then hurried to his brother. Crouching down beside him as he pulled his clothes back into place, he swallowed thickly and tried to calm his pounding heart while asking, “Sammy? Dude? You alright?” Nodding, Sam croaked out, “I'm fine, Dean. Just help me up so we can get to the room. It's not safe out here.” Nodding, Dean quickly helped his brother to his feet. Leaving him for a second to get his clothes back into place, he grabbed the food then went back to his side. Since Sam looked as though he had everything back in place, had gathered up his cell and backpack, Dean steered him towards the room, keeping a watchful eye out as they hurried along. “Which demon was it, Sammy? Do you know?” He asked as they made their way that direction.Grimacing, Sam replied, “Ruby. Let's not talk about this here, you never know who's around.”
Taking that as sound advice, Dean nodded, deciding to wait until they were inside to get the full scoop on it. Once they were inside, Dean began to lay down every bit of protection he knew while Sam headed for the bathroom to clean up. Snarling that his brother had been attacked when he was so close by, the older brother vowed to find a certain she demon and send her back to hell himself. That niggling he had when talking to Bobby about this whole friggin' mess came back stronger. There was something more going on than just Lilith breaking seals to kick off the nightmare and Ruby had a big part. Since Bobby had said Sam had some theories on this, he was going to get his brother to tell him before the weekend was over.
Once inside, Sam hit the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. Heart still hammering a rapid tattoo in his chest, he didn't bother to check out his injuries. His ribs and chest were sore but he was sure it was just some bruising. What he was more worried about was getting the hell out of there before Ruby could regroup and come back for him. Despite wanting to spend time alone with Dean, he wasn't going to put himself in this kind of danger to do it though.
Seating himself on the toilet, he pulled out his cell and dialed Bobby's number. Putting it to his ear, he waited for the old hunter to answer while lifting his shirt and taking his first look at the bruises that now adorned his chest. When Bobby answered with his usual gruff greeting, Sam launched in, “Ruby found me, Bobby. She must have tailed Dean or something, I don't know. But she managed to get her hands on me.”“Aw, crap!” Bobby answered with a heavy sigh in his voice. “You alright, boy? What did she do?” “I'm fine, just bruised up.” Stopping, Sam tried to think how to word the next part without embarrassing himself too badly. Finally, he came up with, “Let's just say that it was sexual in nature and leave it at that, alright? But I can't stay here. She got away before Dean could do the full exorcism.” “You're right, you need to be back on the reservation as fast as you can get there. And not by taking the damned bus either,” Bobby growled, trying to think. “I know but I’m not sure how to manage it. Honestly, I doubt it's safe for me to go alone anyway,” Sam admitted. “For all we know she's just waiting for me to poke my head out of the room to grab me again.” Thinking it over, Bobby rubbed his beard then said, “Dean there?” When he heard Sam reply in the affirmative he told him, “Give him the phone.” “Alright, hang on,” Sam said, standing, wincing as he did. Letting himself out of the bathroom, he saw Dean laying out the food and held the phone out to him. Seeing his brother's puzzled look, he said, “It's Bobby. He needs to talk to you.” Nodding, Dean quickly grabbed the phone from his brother then asked the old hunter, “What's up, Bobby?”
“Sam said Ruby got her filthy mitts on him,” the old hunter sighed. “She did but I drove her off for now. Sam seems fine, just shaken up is all,” Dean soothed, keeping an eye on his younger brother as he stood there fidgeting around slightly. “Dean, this isn't good. I doubt she went far. Sam can't be staying there. It's too dangerous.” Hearing Dean start to protest, knowing he was going to say he would protect him, Bobby raised his voice and talked over him. “It's not safe, Dean. That's all there is to it. Nor is it safe for him to travel alone. I need you to take him home then keep your ass planted there. I'll get there as soon as I can then him and I will sit down and tell you everything we think is going on. Alright?” Sucking in a breath, Dean looked at his brother. Though there was the thought that he wanted to tell the older man that he could protect his brother, he wasn't going to. What he walked up on was proof enough of that. He couldn't keep an eye on Sam 24/7 and it would just take a few minutes for Ruby to once more get her filthy claws back into him. No, he couldn't allow that to happen. But, really, he liked the idea of taking Sam home. That way he would know where he was and could ensure that he was safe. Plus, he could spend some time with him alone before Bobby showed up. It wasn't what they planned for but it would work out pretty much the same way with the added bonus of finally hearing what the two thought was really going on. Sighing, he nodded then replied, “Alright, Bobby, I'll take him home. You think we should go now or wait a bit?” “As fast as you can, Dean. Not only is there the chance that Ruby might still be close but there is a huge blizzard heading that direction. You don't want to get caught in that.” Bobby explained firmly. “Understood. We're gonna eat before the food gets cold then head out, alright?” “That's fine,” Bobby gruffed, rubbing his eyes. “Now, I need you to listen close. Sam knows a way to hide you, temporarily, from both sides. You need to let him do that to you and the Impala. It's nothing permanent but it'll work for the time it takes you to get him home. Don't argue with him about it, Dean. It's safest for both of you.” Not about to argue with extra protection, Dean nodded, “Gotcha, Bobby. No argument from me.”
“Good,” Bobby sighed. “Give the phone back to Sam.” Quickly, Dean passed the cell back to his brother. Nodding, Sam took it then asked, “What's up?”
“Dean's gonna take you home. You have the symbols you need to hide yourself, right?” When the younger Winchester replied in the affirmative Bobby instructed, “I need you to do it on both Dean and the Impala. That'll at least get you there safe. Once you're on the reservation, you won't need them. As soon as you two eat you need to go so you get there ahead of that blizzard they keep predicting. Once I get off the phone with you I'll ring the medicine man. I don't see a problem but I want to make sure. If something comes up, I'll call you. But, boy, make sure you call me several times on the way. And once you're there you put a leash on Dean so he doesn't leave until I can get there. If I know that boy he's going to want to go after Ruby to get some revenge. Right now, we need her left alone, alright?”
“Will do, Bobby. No problem. We'll be gone in an hour.” Sam told him, nodding. “See that you are and call me once you start going.” After hearing Sam agree, Bobby grunted a goodbye then hung up, rubbing his now aching head.
After Dean checked Sam over for serious injury they quickly downed the food that Dean had gotten them then got ready to go. Sam pulled out a small notebook of symbols he had stashed in the side pocket of his backpack and a magic marker. Motioning Dean over, he flipped to the page of the Native American symbols he needed. After having Dean pull up his shirt, he quickly sketched the ones on he needed. No, marker wasn't the best for this as it wouldn't stay long but it would hold out enough to get them there anyway.
Interested in what Sam was doing, Dean watched him sketch the symbols on his chest. But, while he was doing that, he realized for the first time just how close his brother was to him. Despite all that had gone on that day, his lower head began to override his upper one and he found himself starting to stiffen. Shutting his eyes, all he could smell was Sam, something that made him bite back a groan. Now wasn't the time for this but he was powerless to stop it as well. With all Sammy had been through that day, he didn't need his pervert brother pressing him for something even remotely sexual right now. But he was helpless to stop the feeling, fighting to keep his hands to himself the whole time.By the time Sam had finished with the symbols, Dean had managed to control himself and not do what he wanted. But as Sam stepped back to inspect them, he reached out and grabbed his brother's wrist. Pulling him back in close, he looked up at him then let his hand slip up around the back of his head. Placing it there, he pushed his head down slightly then leaned up and kissed him. Though he hadn't planned to do it or even consider the consequences of his actions, he went with it, deepening the kiss, turning it into something quite passionate. Sam, though stunned by it, leaned into the kiss. Since leaving home to meet up with Dean he had been waffling on just whether or not he could go through with this part of things. After all, doing it on the computer was one thing but for 'real' was another. Now, well, he wasn't even thinking about it. The kiss felt 'right' and he was going to go with it. Slipping an arm around his brother's waist, he held onto him as the kiss deepened. He did want it, badly. However, his rational mind took back over quickly. The horror of what had just about happened pushed to the forefront of his mind as a warning that they needed to get the hell out of there before Ruby could regroup. Once they were at his place, things could continue on but now wasn't the time.
Pulling back, he looked down at Dean, licking his lips. Clearing his throat, he said, voice a tad shaky, “Dean, we need to get going. If we continue on we're just going to get distracted. We can't do that.” Though Dean wanted to say fuck it and press on, Sam was right. There would be time for it later, he would make sure there would be, but now wasn't it. Nodding, he said, “You're right. We need to get out of here. Grab your stuff and let's go! Only thing is you are NOT drawing on my baby with a magic marker!” Rolling his eyes, Sam grinned as he shouldered his pack and doubled checked to make sure he had his phone then said, “I won't, Dean. I know better! Get some chalk and I'll do it that way.” “Chalk I can do, Sammy boy. Now, let's get the hell out of here before Ruby tries for round two!” The older Winchester said, heading towards the door.
Shuddering at that thought, Sam was on his heels, just wanting to get home as fast as he could.
Happy Thanksgiving all! Enjoy the day!
