Chapter 15

Green

I do not own Smallville
Summary: Something bad is going down in the small town of Smallville and it’s all Lex’s fault. He has always been too curious for his own good. If only he had not tripped and fallen that day while snooping around the Kent farm when the elder Kent’s were out of town and Clark was at school.

Chapter 15

Lex cried out in agony as fire raced through his limbs. It felt as though his entire body was going to shatter into million tiny fragments. He felt as though something was trying to claw its way out of his stomach.

Clark did not know what to do, so he just picked his screaming lover up into his arms. He was about to race back to the mansion only for a green pulse of energy to hum from Lex’s body in a violent wave.

The pulse sent Clark soaring through the air to crash through the roof of his truck. Lex just floated in a bubble of glowing green energy. Crackles of lightning slithered around the outer shell of it like hissing serpents ready to strike at anything that neared.

His body twisted and writhed in agony as energy pulsed from it. He screamed so loud, he bet that the people in Metropolis could hear him. The pain was so bad he wanted to die.

“Clark,” he screamed as another wave of pain tore through him, “Help me!”

He could hear the sound of metal being ripped and torn by really strong hands. He tried to open his eyes to see what had happened, but he was in too much pain to do so.

His insides felt as though they were melting, and his outsides felt as though they were becoming like stone. A deadly green ray of light filled his eyes.

“Do as we say, Alexander,” that divine voice whispered, and it eased the pain, “Allow us to take over for now.”

“Lex,” Clark yelled.

“Please,” Lex begged, tears streaming from his eyes, “It hurts.”

Clark got to his feet, ran towards the orb that encased Lex, only for it to shatter, and sent him flying back into the truck once more. He grunted in pain and just laid there. The wind had been knocked from his lungs.

He slowly raised his head up to see that Lex was Kryptonia once more. His skin was flawless and glowed like mother of pearl. That long green hair coiled and curled around his body like smoke.

“What’s going on,” Clark wheezed.

“The process has progressed much faster than we anticipated,” the Goddess turned to smile at him with lush emerald green lips, “Your seed is powerful.”

Clark would have blushed had he not been so concerned.

“Little Moon,” the Green Goddess called out, “Come and take Kal-El away from this place.”

“Wait,” Clark snapped, jumping up, “What do you mean? What’s going on?”

“Alexander Luthor will soon give birth to us, Kal-El,” Kryptonia said, “You’re going to be the father of a God.”

Clark’s jaw hit the ground.

“Come with us, Clark,” a silvery voice called to him softly, “It will not be safe here for you.”

He spun around to see Lulu standing in front of his ruined truck. She looked the same and yet different. She was all silver and dark. Her hair was like black clouds and her face like a silver moon.

“You,” Clark said, pointing at her, “What did you do to me? Who are you?”

“I’ll answer your questions,” the Moon Goddess said, holding out a hand for him as Kryptonia turned towards the lake, “But you must come with me.”

“I’m not going to leave Lex,” he said, turning back to the Green Goddess, “What do you mean he’s pregnant?”

Kryptonia turned to look at him with a cocked brow, “Surely you’re not that dense, Kal-El?”

“He’s a man,” Clark snapped, “Men don’t give birth.”

“Well,” Kryptonia giggled, “This one will.”

Already Lex’s stomach was starting to grow at an abnormal rate.

“You must do as we say, Clark,” Lulu said, “You must come with me now.”

“Why,” Clark asked, turning back to look at her, “What’s going to happen?”

“Something wondrous,” Kryptonia’s voice thundered over the calm waters, “Something that is long overdue.”

“Come,” Lulu said, taking his hand in her silvery one, “We must go now.”

“No,” Clark yelled, taking his hand back, “I’m not leaving Lex until I know what’s going to happen!”

The Silver Goddess took a graceful step back and Kryptonia rolled her emerald green eyes. He was so much like Jor-El she wanted to spit fire. In just a bit, she’d be able to do so once more.

Clark watched her walk out onto the dock. She raised her hands up towards the sky, and arched her back as far as it would allow her to. The lake wasn’t so calm anymore.

“Krypton,” the Goddess’ siren voice rang out, and the sky began to radically darken with storm clouds, “Rise up and serve your God!”

Shooting pain started to spread through Clark’s body and he stumbled back into Lulu’s arms. His eyes squinted as he watched the spectacle before him.

Remnants of his home world began to rise up out of the lake with furious speed. They all seemed to be forming something extremely large in the middle of the lake.

Meteor rocks flew up out of the ground, cave systems began to collapse as they whirled through the air to the call of their Goddess. The ground quaked under their feet as the Goddess’ voice filled the sky.

The meteor rocks in her vessel’s warehouse came spiraling through the air to join the masses. The power from the stones began to fill her with their energy.

A massive tower was being built from the meteor fragments in the middle of the lake. It spiraled and it kept on spiraling up into the clouds.

She was manipulating the fragments, making them grow, and grow, and grow. She needed all the power she could get. Her birth was going to make her whole once more.

“Rise up,” her voice echoed, “Rise up and serve us, Krypton!”

Clark was trembling, because the pain was so great.

“Take him from here now, Little Moon,” Kryptonia commanded, “Take him away from here now.”

The Silver Goddess took the weak alien into her arms and took to the sky with him.

“Lex,” he cried out, only to suddenly fall into darkness.

Kryptonia turned back to her tower, willing it to grow. Her temple of rebirth must be perfect.

“Come,” she called out to the three stones of power hidden under the floor in the castle, “Come to your God.”

Emerald green lightning split the heavens and her voice roared like a mighty inferno. The time was coming. She was going to become whole once more and the universe was going to be her crown.

The three stones of power fluttered around her head. She took off walking across the surface of the water towards her temple. The closer she got, the more powerful she became.

The temple groaned when she stepped foot onto the meteor rock floor. A beautiful smile crossed her face and the sky became a soft blue. The light from the yellow sun illuminated the whole temple.

She glided across the smooth surface of the floor towards the temple altar. The three stones of power were put into place.

The Green Goddess then took her place on the altar. She could feel her new body growing inside her vessel. It would not be long now.

Now all she has to do is wait for the sun to pass overhead. The light from the sun would beam down, focus through the three stones of power, and she would be reborn into immortal flesh.

She closed her eyes.

“Where is he,” Lex raged inside, “Where is Clark?”

“Safe,” she told him, “No harm will come to him.”

“He can’t be here,” Lex yelled, “The rocks will kill him!”

“We know,” she said, “That is why we sent him away.”

“Sent him away,” Lex fumed, “Sent him away did you?”

“You’re going to be a mother, Alexander,” the Goddess said, “Why can’t you appreciate the beauty in that?”

“I don’t want to be Mary,” Lex hissed, “Plus, I’m not a virgin.”

“Who,” the Goddess asked.

“You know,” Lex snapped, “The Mother of God.”

“That would be you,” Kryptonia said.

“I want Clark,” Lex whispered.

“He can’t be here,” the Goddess told him.

“Can’t you make the rocks not hurt him,” he asked.

“Not in this form,” she told him, “Krypton is poison to him.”

Lex wanted to cry.

“Soon,” she said like a loving caress, “All of this will be over.”

“And you will be out of me,” he asked.

“Yes,” she said.

Lex wanted to sigh, but didn’t think he could like this. This was scary. He was going to give birth to a God.

“Kryptonia,” he asked out of the green.

“Yes, Alexander,” she said.

He bit the bottom of his astral lip, “Am I going to get stretch marks?”
