The Eyes Have It
Awakening
Julie could feel Will's body several feel away from her in the massive bed. She heard his deep, rhythmic breathing. Felt the warmth radiating from his skin. She knew she was in that place somewhere between sleep and awake. Her limbs tingled and her skin felt smooth against the high thread count sheets. She let her conscious become more aware of her surroundings. Hannibal Lecter's room came into view in the darkness. She had no idea what time it was, what day it was. She felt like she had been asleep for a year. She slid out of the bed and grabbed the nearest piece of clothing that she saw. A men's black button down shirt she assumed belonged to Hannibal. She walked out into the hallway and quietly down the stairs. She heard paper's rustling in Hannibal's office. She knocked gently.
"Come in."
She walked into his office. Her bare feet barely making a sound on the dark wood floor.
"Good evening Juliette." Hannibal said standing from his chair.
Julie walked to his desk and sat on the edge. The shirt inching up her thigh.
"Is it evening? I'm not even sure what day it is."
Hannibal smiled and poured her a glass of whisky.
"You and Will have been asleep for about 23 hours now. I guess this was good for both of you."
Julie watched Hannibal with curiosity. Her stormy blue eyes sparkled in the low light of the room.
"You have quite the hold of Will, Juliette."
"As do you Hannibal." she said narrowing her eyes at him.
Hannibal seemed surprised she noticed. He set his glass on his desk and walked closer to her. She leaned back slightly on the desk. The top buttons of the shirt she wore undone. Hannibal could smell his cologne mixing with the scent of her skin. He came closer until he was between her legs, pressed up against the desk.
"It would seem Dr. Lecter, Will it not the only man I have a hold on."
