Chapter 14

Green

Flora Winters

I do not own Smallville

Summary: Something bad is going down in the small town of Smallville and it’s all Lex’s fault. He has always been too curious for his own good. If only he had not tripped and fallen that day while snooping around the Kent farm when the elder Kent’s were out of town and Clark was at school.

Chapter 14

“Where did you go,” Lex asked when he heard Clark sneak back in, “We need to get ready and head back to Smallville.”

“I went for a walk,” Clark lied even though it killed him to do so, “And I brought back some Chinese.”

“Oh,” Lex said with a smile as he looked at the plastic boxes sitting on the table, “I forgot to cancel our reservations at The Silver Moon.”

“Oops,” Clark shrugged which earned him a mock glare, “Sounds more like a club than a place to eat.”

“It does,” Lex said not really thinking about it because his stomach was growling as he walked over and took his plastic box digging in with gusto.

“Wow,” Clark said watching him eat, “You really like your poison now, huh?”

“Hush,” Lex snapped while loving the sweet and sour chicken, “Or I’ll schedule us a flight back.”

Clark snorted, “I could be in my loft by the time you picked up the phone to do so.”

Lex swallowed his chicken, “You’re really that fast?”

“I think I’m exaggerating…a little bit,” Clark said and began to count on his fingers, “Three minutes tops.”

“Wow,” Lex said in awe which made Clark blush a rosy hue, “You could just run us back then, couldn’t you?”

Clark smiled, “You’d want to?”

Lex thought it over, “But that would mean we’d get back sooner than I’d like.”

“True,” Clark said enjoying Lex’s frown. He really wanted to spend all the time he could with his lover but his curiosity was killing him. He wanted to be in Clark’s arms as they moved faster than a bullet.

“We’ll drive back,” Lex finally said much to Clark’s surprise, “But you can run us to Roswell after school tomorrow.”

“What is it with you and Roswell,” Clark asked knowing it was the whole him being an “alien” thing, “That television show had so many plot holes I could ride an asteroid through one. All that crap happening and it wasn’t until season three when the parents finally decided it was time to ask some questions.”

“You have way too much free time on your hands farm boy,” Lex said finishing off his noodles, “I just wanted to put you to work and see if you could dig up any evidence of a ship actually crashing there. For some odd reason the government wont sell me Area 51.”

“Uh huh,” Clark said while debating on whether or not he wanted to take the precious time to actually pick up a piece of chicken and throw it at him, “Right.”

Lex laughed, “Or we could just have some fun in my greenhouse instead?”

Clark looked up from his noodles, “What kind of fun?”

“A little this, a little that,” Lex said with glowing mercury orbs, “And a whole lot of that.”

Clark smiled, “I’m going to go clean up our little love garden.”

“Leave it,” Lex said, “Let’s see just how wild it can grow.”

“It could ruin your bathroom,” Clark said.

Lex cocked a brow that kept getting lovelier each time he did it, “I can buy a million more.”

Clark bit his bottom lip. All that money could be used to help people but it was not his place to say anything about it.

“You sure,” he asked.

“I am,” Lex said getting up, “It will be my most treasured memory of being with you.”

“Let me go get my bag then,” Clark said moving for the stairs.

“No need,” Lex said holding up the keys, “Everything is already in the car.”

Clark turned to look at him with a big smile, “Ready to go back to rules and laws that need a little bending?”

“Clark,” Lex said heading to the door, “What’s gotten into you lover?”

“You,” Clark said and was suddenly holding him in his arms in a warm whoosh, “You’re under my skin Lex.”

“Am I,” Lex asked leaning his back into Clark’s chest smiling, “In a good way?”

“In the best way,” Clark said spinning Lex around so he could steal his mouth again.

Clark had told his parents everything…well…almost everything that had taken place on his trip with Lex. He left out the details that involved heat and lots of mist. That was when he decided to call Chloe and have her to come over. He needed her help in figuring out what was in the potion. It was a good thing he had saved some and he was going to make damn sure none of the “Sex Clark Up” touched him.

He sped out to his loft when he heard her coming down the drive jamming to Tori. He didn’t understand why she listened to her music. It was always so sad and depressing. The music and lyrics are heart wrenching and her song Winter reminded him so much of Lex…back in the day.

He turned from his desk when he heard her coming up the steps humming the tune from what he thought was 1000 Oceans. That was another sad and depressing song that she loved even though it was so beautiful.

“Hey,” she said when she saw him sitting in his chair, “How was your trip?”

He smiled, “Do you want to know every little detail?”

He saw her sky blue eyes light up with interest and he got up so the two of them could take a seat on the sofa to talk. He wasn’t kidding when he asked if she wanted to know every little detail of his adventure.

“Clark,” she finally said while fanning herself, “You’re going to have to stop even though that is hot and romantic as hell.”

“Sorry,” he said and held up Lulu’s bath potion, “So you see why I need you to find out what’s in this.”

“Why didn’t you have Lex,” she asked and was suddenly in shock that her best friend was no longer a virgin.

“I,” Clark said and she saw the guilt in his luminous emerald orbs, “He has so much to worry about and I didn’t want to add to it.”

She took the bottle from him and pulled the cork out only for a warm whoosh to blow her hair around her face. She looked up to see that he was on the other side of the loft looking at the bottle like it was an evil monster about to devour all.

“He really is afraid of this stuff,” she thought as she sniffed the delightful fragrance.

“I’ll see what I can do,” she said sticking the cork back in tightly and put the glowing red oil into her purse.

“Thanks,” Clark said with a small smile.

“Lulu,” Chloe said walking over to him at the window, “How do you know she hadn’t planned on this taking place?”

“I know she did,” Clark said looking up at the moon that looked…closer, “And I would like to know why. She was so nice to me.”

Kryptonia was once more in possession of Lex’s body and was looking down at the three stones of power laying on his mahogany desk. She had known all about Jor-El’s hiding them here because of her being around his neck for all those years. He must have been hoping that Kal-El would find them and use their power that was a part of her in order to rule this world.

The moment she first “popped” out of Lex she could sense her essence calling to her. She had planned each step carefully. She obtained the first stone when she had hidden Lionel’s body in that smelly tomb in Egypt. She obtained the second stone when she had finished telling Kal-El her story, and tonight she had just gotten back from that silly little temple in China. Oh, her power was great and soon, when the moment was right, she would have it all once more.

She looked up from the glowing stones when a warm breeze that smelled of moonflower blew the double doors open to the study. Her long green hair blew gently around her face and she smiled.

“We wish to thank you,” she said from her seat at the desk, “For what you have done for us, Little Moon.”

Eyes that glowed like pure molten silver smiled brightly from a face radiating moonbeams. The tall, willowy figure glided over to sit on the edge of the desk in a hiss of silk while twirling her long glowing fingers through clouds of darkness that was her hair.

“I see my potion worked wonders on your farm boy,” the silver lady said.

“Yes,” Kryptonia said while rising to her feet and walked to hide the stones beneath the fireplace, “It served its purpose.”

“I still don’t understand my Lady,” the glowing woman said, “How you or why you allowed this atrocity to befall you?”

“Love,” the Goddess said smiling bitterly at the floor as he put the stones back in place, “Love made us weak, Luna.”

Kryptonia turned when she heard the chinking of crystal to see Luna fixing herself a drink. She looked over at the Green Goddess, “What?”

“We will soon be reborn,” Kryptonia said getting back to her feet, “And we will need you again Little Moon.”

Luna beamed pure moonlight and Kryptonia smiled. The time would soon be upon them and everything had to be perfect.

Luna handed the Goddess a crystal glass, “To you.”

“To Us,” Kryptonia said while rubbing her tummy. She did not drink.

Clark rolled over in his bed and groaned when his alarm clock went off right next to where his head was resting. He lashed out lightning quick and the alarm clock would never alarm again.

He opened his eyes to see that the sun was slowing rising outside his window and he yawned loudly as he stretched. His cock was morning hard and he sighed. Why did he always have to literally rise with the sun? He wished that Lex was here but he had to make do with what was readily available to him. A couple lightning fast strokes and he was ready for his morning shower.

While his mom was serving breakfast Clark could not help but think of how horny he has gotten recently. It was like he was constantly semi hard and his cock would only grow harder. What if it happened at school and wouldn’t go away?

“Sweetheart,” Martha said with a look of some concern, “You’ve been sucking on that same piece of sausage for two minutes.”

Clark quickly sucked the whole thing into his mouth and swallowed. What the hell? It had to be the full moon.

“Are you feeling okay,” Jonathan asked a little nervously.

“I’m fine,” Clark lied, “I’m just stressed out over the Green Witch.”

“Is that what you call us behind our back,” Kryptonia asked from the door and walked in all green and glowing.

Clark paled and was on his feet in an instant, “Why are you here?”

“Do calm down Kal-El,” she said looking around the smile farmhouse and at his parents with blazing emerald infernos, “Stress can kill.”

“So can you,” he hissed while bellowing in his mind, “I can’t even have a normal breakfast!”

“Indeed,” she said looking both Martha and Jonathan over in interest, “But only when it pleases us to do so.”

“Answer my question,” Clark demanded, “Why are you in my house uninvited?”

“We thought Lex was always welcomed in your humble abode,” she said taking a seat next to a very stiff and very quiet Jonathan. Smart little ape.

“Lex is,” Clark said through gritted teeth, “But you aren’t.”

“Do have a care,” Kryptonia said while running a pale hand through her hair, “We don’t want anything unfortunate to happen.”

“Would you like something to drink then,” Clark asked going to the fridge, “Milk, orange juice, my piss in a glass maybe?”

“Clark,” Martha said in outrage and to Kryptonia’s surprise, “Is that any way to speak to a guest?”

“And your God,” Kryptonia added.

“You,” Clark said suddenly leaving the room and walking out the door, “Are not my God.”

He ran right smack into her fist and fell flat on his back with her on top of him. Both Jonathan and Martha ran out to see them on the ground and green lightning struck the ground before them.

“Stand back,” Kryptonia warned them as her coiling green hair hissed like an emerald storm, “And no harm shall come to you.”

“What do you want,” Clark seethed.

“We,” Kryptonia said looking down at him with eyes that could peel flesh from bone, “Came to see your farm and pet a moo creature but you had to be all rude and obnoxious.”

“Kryptonia,” Martha said and the Goddess slowly turned her stormy face from a stunned Clark’s to hers, “Clark is going to be late for school.”

“School,” Kryptonia said in disdain and looked back down at Clark who she had perfectly pinned to the ground, “You would rather go to school instead of “hanging out” with us?”

“I can’t miss school,” Clark said really wishing that she would let him up because his hands were going numb from where she was holding him by the wrists, “I’ll get in trouble.”

“Why are you being so hostile,” she asked only a nose length from his face.

“I’m tired,” he said looking at Lex’s frightening face, “And I’m scared for Lex.”

“No excuses,” she snapped like a million leather whips against some poor unfortunate bastards backside, “We save Lex’s life, we spill our heart out to you, and you would speak to us like one of your moo things?”

“Cow,” Clark said looking into her eyes and sighed sadly, “I’m sorry, Kryptonia.”

In a hiss she was on her feet and standing over him with an extended hand for him to take. He reached out and she pulled him to his feet as if he weighed less than air.

“When does this “school” start,” she asked totally ignoring his parents which was a blessing.

“In about an hour,” he said noticing she had not let go of his hand, “Why do you ask?”

She turned and pulled him after her away from his parents, “Where are we going?”

“Where they can’t hear,” she said leaving no room for argument, “Much is happening and we need you Kal-El.”

“Need me for what,” he asked starting to get scared and looked back at his parents from the fence to make sure they were okay.

“Lex’s body is going to be going through some changes Kal-El,” she said, “He will need you.”

“What do you mean,” he asked.

“He will slowly start to become like you,” she said, “But it will be painful.”

“You,” he snapped, “You’re hurting him.”

“Yes,” she said, “But it is something that has to happen or he will die.”

Clark paled instantly, “Die?”

“Yes,” she told him with more sympathy in her voice, “It his body is not allowed to evolve he will be unable to contain our divine radiance, and he will die…along with the entire world in the explosion.”

Clark stumbled back and fell flat on his ass, “What?”

Kryptonia was laughing on the inside. Poor, pious Kal-El. It was no wonder she loved him so.

“Will you serve us,” she asked, “Will you be our knight? Will you keep us safe?”

Clark looked up at her and all he could see was Lex looking down at him with love. He nodded his head, “Yes…if it will save Lex and my home.”

“It will,” she said as he got back to his feet to lean against the fence for a cow to bite his shirt, but he paid no attention.

“What do I have to do,” he asked.

“Keep our vessel safe,” she said, “Allow no harm to come to him.”

“Remember that man who would have shot and killed Lex,” she asked and waited for the nod, “Had that bullet of killed Lex we would have exploded and killed everything on this planet.”

It was comical. If Kal-El got any whiter he would look dead.

“All right,” Clark said deciding to skip school but he would call Chloe first, “Let’s go to the castle.”

“What about school,” she asked with a perfectly arched brow.

“Screw it for now,” he told her, “I’ll get the truck.”

She smiled at him as he went and told his lovely parents. Each one kept looking up at her as if she might explode at any moment. It was all too easy.

88888888888888888888888888888888888888

Kryptonia was gazing out her window in the moving truck watching all the corn stalks as they passed by. She was beyond happy and she wanted to share her joy with Kal-El in some way. She looked over at him sitting behind the wheel that controlled this mechanical thing looking all paranoid but determined. Maybe she should of just said the continent of North America…which the fall out of her “exploding” would knock the earth off its axis and destroy the moon. She sighed. Even if such a thing were possible, her blowing up would destroy more than this tiny world.

She was Kryptonia. The most powerful, was the most powerful, and will be the most powerful once more. If she was to explode, the entire universe would more than likely crash in on itself and make the “big bang” sound like a fart. Oh, she was terrible in her honesty and so modest to.

She ran her fingers through her hair and asked, “Kal-El?”

“Yes,” he said looking slightly over as to not take his full attention from the road.

“We would like to see this Crater Lake,” she said looking over at him, “Will you drive us there?”

“But,” he said looking back at the road, “What about Lex?”

“He is fine,” she said smiling, “When you made love to him you bit him and deposited your seed deep inside him. You took his blood into yourself and you had a bonding of sorts.”

It really was quiet similar to the ritual on Krypton actually.

“What,” Clark asked trying his best not to run them off the road in a fit of hysterics.

“You seed melded with his DNA sequence,” she said, “And with our divine essence, its now making him like you.”

Clark slowed the truck down and looked over at her, “What are you saying?”

“All will be revealed in time,” she said honestly, “And all will be well if you do as we say.”

“But Lex is going to be okay,” he asked.

“He will be fine,” she said as she thought to herself, “And so will we.”

“Now,” she said reaching over to pick some lent off his shirt, “Will you take us to see this Crater Lake?”

“Might as well,” he said looking back to the road, “You’ll just kick the door off and go yourself if I don’t.”

She nodded, “You begin to know us.”

“And it was scary,” he sighed.

She looked back out her window with a smile on her smirking face.

888888888888888888888888888888888888

Clark walked beside Kryptonia as they made their way to the dock. He had called Chloe while he still had cell service and told her what was up. She freaked the hell out but managed to stay calm while in Biology. She had almost cut Pete instead of the starfish.

He was actually admiring how Kryptonia’s long billowing green hair flowed around Lex’s hot body like water. It was a brighter green than the grass and it sparkled in the sunlight.

The two of them walked out onto the dock and Kryptonia smiled. This place would be perfect for her temple. She reached down and slid her feet out of expensive shoes and began to walk towards the end of the pier.

“What are you doing,” Clark asked in worry, “Shouldn’t you be careful?”

“We are fine,” Kryptonia said while not turning to look at him.

Clark saw that she was about to step off and fall into the water only for his eyes to pop out of their sockets. She had stepped out and was now walking on top of the water like it was solid concrete or frozen. He realized he was holding his breath and quickly sucked in air.

Kryptonia was smiling in rapture. All of Crater Lake was a hoard of Kryptonite. She could feel it pulsing for her from beneath the calm surface which she now stood on. She spun around sending small waves in all directions to hold out a hand to Clark, “Come to us, Kal-El.”

“What,” he asked, “I can’t walk on water.”

She cocked her head to the side, “Come to us Kal-El.”

He rolled his eyes and removed his shirt and shoes. There was no sense in getting them wet. He jumped off the edge and his bare feet hit the surface of the water and he stumbled and fell flat on his face. He just laid there on top of the water in shock listening to Kryptonia who was now laughing at him.

He slowly got to his knees and realized that he was kneeling on the surface of the water. He began to bounce a little and little waves went off around him. He could not help but smile. This was cool.

He could cup the water in his hands. He could stick his head under and frighten the fish, but he could not sink.

“Come,” Kryptonia called even though she was enjoying his sense of wonder. How like Jor-El he was. The only difference, Kal-El could care less about power but she had to make sure.

Clark got to his feet and carefully walked across the water to her. She smiled and took his hands in her own, “Do you see what wonders we can grace you with?”

“For your service Kal-El,” she said, “We will grant you anything you desire?”

“Anything,” he asked and she hid the darkness in her blinding green depths.

“Anything,” she whispered.

“I only want for Lex and myself to be happy,” he said, “With each other always.”

She was stunned. She had offered him the chance for power beyond any imagination and all he wanted was happiness with her vessel for always. He really is a glowing beacon of light in the darkness of this world.

She smiled up at him even though she hated that fact that he was physically taller than her. She was going to make him great in the eyes of the people who lived on this tiny rock. The future was for her to see and it was going to be blindingly bright.

She reached up and cupped a rosy golden cheek with a gentle pale hand that had a shade of green to it that at one time could smash moons, “Will you do us one small service Kal-El,” she asked softly, “And I will ask no more of you.”

He was almost too afraid to answer. Why was she being so kind and tender all of a sudden? What was she up to?

“What,” he asked as the waves danced gently under their feet.

“Would you,” she asked and he almost fell because she sounded frightened, “Would you learn to love us?”

She had asked his father the same thing.

“What,” he asked and she suddenly doubled over in his arms.

“It begins,” she cried out in rapture in her mind, “Prepare Lex Luthor!”

“Kryptonia,” Clark asked in fear, “What’s wrong with you?”

“The dock,” she said, “Take us to the dock before we fall into the water.”

He scooped her up in his arms and dashed across the water to gently lay her on the wooden surface. She hid her smile. Was he really worried about her or just Lex?

“What do I need to do,” he asked while looking around frantically.

Her emerald stars were blinding in that moment, “Kiss us.”

“What,” he asked in almost outrage, “What will that accomplish?”

“Please,” she begged for the second time in a long eternity, “Please, Kal-El.”

Make that a third.

He closed his eyes while leaning down to kiss Lex’s lips and he was seared by those divine roses that were sweeter than honey. He pulled back and opened his eyes to see warm ice looking back at him. That lovely green hair was vanishing in green sparkles.

“Clark,” Lex asked in confusion as he gasped for air and Clark helped him up, “Where am I?”

“Crater Lake,” Clark said and was happy to see that he was back.

“Oh,” he said and then looked up at him, “Why?”

“You don’t know,” Clark asked in surprise and Lex shook his head, “I thought you could look out and see everything.”

“She kept me blind,” Lex said only for a dam to suddenly break in his mind.

“Prepare Lex Luthor,” Kryptonia cried, “My Mother!”

He doubled over in agony as fire seemed to roar out from his stomach to the rest of his limbs. He cried out and Clark had him in his arms against his naked chest.

“What is it,” Clark asked seeing how pale and sweaty Lex was, “Is it the change?”

“Yes,” Lex screamed out as blinding hot light hit him between the eyes, “I remember!”

“Remember,” Clark asked fighting hard to stay the calm one, “Remember what?”

“Clark,” he said grabbing his arms with a strength that made Clark flinch in some pain, “I think I’m pregnant.”
