Blurry: The Lost Child of Tommy Oliver

Tommy looked at Haylee asking, "You're serious right? This isn't some crazy dream?" the younger woman giggled as she asked "Do you want a print out?" Tommy only nodded as she messed with the machine, handing him the grayscale picture as he sat up fixing his shirt, a hand stopping on his stomach as he only smiled at a loss for words and a little bit of a loss for thoughts as he looked back at the ultra sound photograph in his hand.  "I saw Lydia in the cafe other day with a boy." Haylee teased Tommy chuckled "yeah Lydia found out about Akio bringing the video he had filmed on his Ipod. Once she found him, they have been talking ever since. It's the happiest I've seen her since what happen with Riley."



"That's been nearly a year ago, can you believe it." Haylee said Tommy shook his head "No, I can't believe Lydia is 16." Haylee smiled as she said "And a terrific big sister" Tommy smiled as he held the picture in his hand "I need to get this to Adam so we can figure out how to tell her." Haylee nodded watching him leave.



Adam looked at the new proposal for a restart of some projects he and Tommy had started before the whole episode with Mesogog.  'Maybe I can convince him to try working on this with Anton again.' he thought taking the last sip of his coffee before setting it in the sink. "I'm home" He smiled at the voice as he called back "In here, what did you find out?" Adam had fixed another cup of coffee as Tommy walked up behind him kissing the bare shoulder as Tommy whispered "I'm pregnant" Adam turned to Tommy as he pulled  the ultrasound picture from his pocket, Adam kissed his temple and slipped his arm around Tommy's shoulder pulling him close as he looked at the picture asking. "How far are you?" Tommy smiled as he said "12 weeks, How do you think we should we tell Lydia?" Adam held up the picture and smiled as he said, "We can tell her after the party tonight." Tommy nodded as Adam set the picture on the counter as he placed his hand on Tommy's stomach as he smiles.



"Thank you for letting me does this." Lydia said as she helps put away some of the glass plates used for her party, as her boyfriend Akio helped Adam pick up the wrapping paper.  "Hey Kio, Tell my parents where you got a scholarship from."  Lydia teased as he groaned "Spill already!" Tommy called out watching him from the bar, fighting his first pregnancy craving of the punch Haylee had made. "MIT." He said holding open the garbage bag for Adam dropping in the last of the wrapping paper and empty plastic cups. "That's were Haylee went." Tommy said looking at the empty glass deciding to toss it away. "You're going to be up all night now," Lydia, giggled as Tommy stated with out thinking about the unsuspecting boy in the living room. "I'll be doing it soon enough anyway better start practicing now."  That was when Akio asked "Does this have to do anything with what you said at Riley's trial about having Lydia?" and Tommy realized what he had just said.



"Yeah it does, everything works and it's not supposed to" Adam said, Akio surprised the small family "Hey that's kind of what I was hoping to do some research for. I need an entrance essay for another college I'm considering, I don't have to use names." Adam shot Tommy a look giving him the final word as he said, "What will you need, I mean I just found out today I'm 12 weeks pregnant." Akio smiled as he said, "That's awesome, and I wish I knew what it was like to have a kid."



"We'll keep you in formed. What do your parents think about this little interest?" Adam said as he and Akio walked back into the kitchen. "They'd kill me if they thought I was remotely interested in something that dealt with an alternative life style" He said leaning up against the bar, Adam stood next to Tommy who seemed nervous… damn hormones. Adam chuckled as he lean in whispering softly "I'm not mad, and at least he understands."  Akio smiled as he said, "Of course I do, you have to understand how it could happen, before you can just jump into it, and you have to experience it before you understand it. I may not be in your body but I still get to be around as this happens so that's still a point into understanding how it all works."



Tommy nodded impressed by Akio's thought process. "I can understand how MIT wants you." Adam said as the small group laughed, Akio looked at the clock on the stove as he said, "Oh man I'm going to be late for my curfew." "I can run you home, you're not that far." Adam said Akio nodded grabbing his coat from the chair Adam grabbing his keys from the table near the door as the two hurried, Lydia waved as she told him good-bye.



Lydia turns to Tommy as she asked, "Are you really pregnant?" Tommy chuckled as he pulled the picture from pocket from his ultra sound. Lydia laughed as she looked at the picture hugging him as she said, "This tops everything I've gotten all night!"  Tommy chuckled, saying 'I know this is your Birthday but you have school in the morning now haul it up to bed." Lydia groaned as she smiled holding the picture asking, "Can I put this in my room for the night?" Tommy sighed and nodded as he said, "I'll need it back in the morning ok, and I want it for a baby album." Lydia agreed as she rushed up stairs.



Tommy was getting comfortable as Adam slipped in the room; he only smiled at Tommy as he stretched out next to him. The two lay there silent as Adam has handed rested on Tommy's small stomach, just beginning to take shape. "I'm sorry I let it slip." Tommy said Adam just hushed him as he said, "I'm not mad at all, I promise I'm not. All I want to do is hold you right now think about our baby, imagine the day it's born the beautiful look of love in your eyes you'll give it, like you given me since the moment we made this serious. Can I please have a moment like this every night?" Tommy did not know how to respond as he pulled Adam in for a kiss and curled against him quickly drawn into sleep.
