Chapter 14/?

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

A minute later, Albus, Minerva, and Arabella arrived at the Headmaster’s office at Hogwarts. Stepping out of the fireplace Albus went to one of his many objects, where he picked up a wooden box, opened it and took out a medium round object.
Circling his want around the object, “I wish to locate Harry James Potter.” Said Albus. He then waited for a minute to see if Harry’s location would come up, but after about a minute nothing happened. Thinking he did something wrong, Albus tried again, but still nothing.
“Is something wrong Albus?” Minerva asked, in worried voice.
“It would seem that Mr. Potter’s name was either changed or he’s protected from magical detection.”
Answered Albus. What he didn’t know was that Harry’s protection was around him and it extended to anywhere Harry went.
“What are we going to do now?” Inquired Arabella.
“I believe we’ll have to wait until he’s eleven, when receives his letter.”
“But Petunia said he was adopted and moved to the states.”
“I know, but when the owls are sent out they will be able reach him.” Albus answered in a distracted voice.
“Why don’t we do that now?” Suggested Minerva.
“That’s a wonderful idea.” Albus said, as he took out some parchment and wrote a small note. He then attached the note to Fawkes phoenix’s leg, “Please take this to Harry Potter, but don’t give it to him and then come back with the letter.”
“Why did you send Fawkes and not an owl?” Inquired Arabella. “And why did you tell him to come back without giving Harry the note?”
“Fawkes will be able to get there and back faster.
The reason I didn’t want Harry to get the note, was because he’s too young to know about the wizard world, especially if he’s with Muggles. ” Replied Albus.
It was two minutes later when Fawkes returned, but with a different letter. Taking the letter thinking that the address of Harry’s location was on it, Albus looked at the letter, but was surprised of the contacts of the letter. [It is too early for young Harry to receive his letter. We are protecting him from evil and those who wish to take him from his family. Harry will be well protected and loved, so do not worry about him. When he is older, you will be able to contact him regarding his schooling. Goodbye for now.]
(Damn it. If I can’t find Harry and place him with his relatives then how am I going to control him, when the boy comes to school?) Albus thought to himself, and didn’t hear Minerva.
“Albus are you even listening to me?”
“I’m sorry my dear, did you say something?”
“I asked, what does the letter say?”
“Someone very powerful is protecting Harry Potter.” Albus answered, in a distracted voice. (I’ll just have to send him to the Dursley’s during the summers.)
“What are we going to do?” Arebella asked, in a worried voice.
“We’ll have to wait.”
What Dumbledore didn’t know was that Fawkes knew where Harry was; he also knew what power was protecting the child. That was why he didn’t teleport to Cascade, Washington, but to the realm of dreams. There he handed the letter to Incacha and waited for him to write out a response.
(You won’t be able to control the child Albus. He will be very powerful and have control over his mind.) Fawkes thought to himself. (And when he comes to school, I will finally be able to leave you.)
"Arebella, you should go back home, but keep an eye on the Dursley."
"Why, Potters no longer there?" Inquired Figg.
"I know, but I want continue to keep an eye on them, just incase."
"Very well." Said Figg.

Ellison-Sandburg House
December 14, 1991 = Saturday
1:00 p.m.

It was a week later when th Sandburg-Ellison moved into their new home, which caused for a celebration. That was why Blair was preparing lunch, so they could show their new home to the gang of Major Crimes.
While Blair was preparing lunch, Jim and Harry were outside trying to play a game of catch.
When out of the blue, “Da, can we ge’ a doggie?” Harry asked, in better English. Harry’s English had gotten better, ever since Blair worked with Harry on his reading and pronunciation.
“What made you ask for a dog?” Jim asked, in surprised voice.
“I had a dweam of a big doggie.”
“What kind of dog was it?”
“Don’t know.” Harry answered, with a shrug.
“I’ll talk to pop about getting a dog.”
Giving Jim a big smile, “Can we ask now?” Harry asked, in an excited voice.
“Sure, lets go?” Jim said, as he took Harry into his arms and walked toward the house.
Walking into the house, “Pop, I want a dog!” Yelled Harry.
Wincing, “Harry, wait until we get to the kitchen.”
“Sorry da.”
“It’s ok.” Jim answered, in a reassuring voice. “Ask him now.”
“Papa, can we have a dog?”
“A dog? Where did that come from?”
“I had dweam of a dog.”
“I’ll speak to da and then we’ll decide.”
“Ok.”
“Why don’t you go watch some TV?” Blair said. When he was sure that Harry was out of hearing range, “What do you think?”
“He should have a companion.”
“What about your allergies?”
“I don’t think its allergies, it’s more sensitivity than anything else. I’m sure I can handle whatever comes.”
“So, we agreed, we’ll get him a dog?”
“It will teach him responsibility and he’ll have a friend to grow up with.”
Just then the doorbell *range*, “Hey guys, come on in.”
Blair said, as he invited the guys from Major Crimes.
“This is nice.” Henry Brown said, as he looked around the house.
“Thanks, we loved it as soon as we saw it.” Blair said, as he took the wine from Brian Rafe.
“Sandburg, was it ok if I brought Daryl?” Simon asked, as he walked in followed by Daryl.
“Hey man it’s cool. He’s always welcome.”
“Thanks man. Where’s the kid?” Asked Daryl.
“He should be in the living room, watching television.” Blair answered, as he watched Daryl head to the living room.
“So, when’s dinner?” Asked Brown.
With a smile, “Let me get Harry and we can begin.” Blair said, as he went to the living room.
Walking into the living room, Blair saw Harry and Daryl sitting on the floor playing some sort of game.
Walking in, he saw Harry with his eyes closed and all his blocks dancing around. Not wanting to scare Harry, Blair sat down next to him and places his hand on Harry’s shoulder, which broke his concentration.
“That is wonderful, baby.” Blair said, in a proud voice. “Were you showing off to Daryl?”
Smiling with pride, “Da’yl, wanthd to see how I do magic.”
“I’m helping him practice.” Daryl said, as he began to pick up the blocks.
“Thank you Daryl. He should have as much practice as he can get.”
“Papa, I hungy.” Harry said, as Blair was helping Daryl.
“As soon as Daryl and I put your toys away, we’ll go eat.”
A minute later all of Harry’s toys were put away, and the three of them headed to the kitchen.
“Is everyone ready to eat?” Asked Blair.
“Sure.” Said everyone.
While everyone ate, “Hey Sandy. How much did this house cost?” Asked Megan.
“Megan, that is a personal question.” Scolded Rhonda.
“Sorry.” Whispered Megan.
“It’s ok Megan and to answer you around 10 thousand.” Answered Jim.
“Shit man….”
“Hey, no cursing. There’s a child here.” Censured Blair.
“Sorry.” Whispered Rafe. “Wow, that is a lot of money.”
“We know, but we loved this house, especially the backyard.” Said Jim.
“We’ve also decided to get Harry a dog.”
Looking up, “Doggie?” Harry asked, in an excited voice.
“Yes, doggie.” Jim answered, with a smile.
“I’m going to name it, Padfoot.” Announced Harry.
“Padfoot, that’s a strange name. Where did you hear it?” Inquired Jim.
“Don’t remember.”
“That’s alright. I like the name Padfoot.”
“Besides it’s a very interesting name.” Said Rafe.
“So we all agree. Harry gets to name his dog Padfoot.” Said Blair.
“Yay. I get a doggie.” Harry yelled, in joy.
“Ok, calm down. Lets get back to our dinner.” Said Jim.
“Da, can we go tomo’ow?” Asked Harry.
“Blair, what’s tomorrow?” Jim asked, with a smile.
Smiling, “I believe it’s Sunday.”
“Ok then, tomorrow we’ll go adopt a dog.”
“Yay, we go tomo’ow” Cried Harry, happily.
“What king of dog do you want?” Inquired Daryl.
”We’ll see what’s available.” Answered Blair.
“I was thinking of a German Shepard or a Doberman. Something big that will protect Harry.” Said Jim.
“Do you think it’s safe to get such big dogs?” Inquired Rhonda.
“If they’re taught from the start, they should be safe.” Answered Blair.
“Can I come with you tomorrow?” Asked Daryl.
“Sure, it should be interesting.” Said Blair.

5:00 p.m.

It was four hours later, and everyone was sitting around the dinning room table talking, when Blair felt something and/or someone trying to find the house.
Not wanting to disturber everyone, Blair agreed to let it go, until he was able to mediate on the feeling that he had received.
At the same time that Blair was getting the feeling of something and/or someone trying to find the house, Jim got a flash of a beautiful bird flashing into the spirit world and two minutes later flashing out. The only thing he caught was the bird communicating with someone, but he couldn’t see the person.
A minute later after everyone left, “Did you feel that disturbance?” Blair asked, while cleaning the table.
“No, but I did get a glimpse of a beautiful bird traveling into the spirit world and communicating with someone.”
“Once I put Harry to bed, I’ll meditate and find out what is going on.” Blair said, as he watched Harry play with his blocks.
“What do you think it could have been?” Inquired Jim.
“I’m not sure, but I believe that someone from the wizard world is looking for Harry.”
“Well we’ll just make sure they can’t find him, until he’s old enough and ready.”
