“Can you believe we are getting married in one week and four days, starting tomorrow,” Mac asks as she goes into the living room.
She goes to the stereo and puts some music on to eat dinner by and dance later after dinner to. She picks The John Tesh Project’s Sax by the Fire to eat by and Celine Dion’s All The: A : A decade of song to dance by. Harm opens the boxes of Chinese food from Woo Woo Chang’s that never got eaten for dinner because Harm had an itch that he wanted Mac to scratch, x 3. He grabs two plates from the cabinet.
“Really? I thought it was sooner than that.”
“You’re just in a hurry to get into my panties,” Mac teases.
“No, I want you in a bikini having the time of your life on our honeymoon.”
“But I thought we aren’t planning anything?”
“We aren’t exactly, not planning something. I have something in mind but I have more important news to share with you.”
“Oh Harm, I wasn’t exactly planning something either. I was thinking of coming back after the wedding and making up the missed time for the wedding. At least until we both get some extra days on the books, and then we could take a longer leave for the honeymoon. What news?”
“I think I know where we’re getting married.”
Mac’s eyes light up like a deer in headlights, “And just how did you come by this information?”
“Of all people, Sergei. Well more directly, his papers to come to the States for the wedding. I picked up the papers Thursday for signing and to be sent out. It hit me like a few G’s going at Mach 1. I really thought it was an April Fool’s joke.”
“Well quit with the suspense, Flyboy… Where?”
“Florida. His papers say that he’s going to be staying in Florida for half brother’s wedding.”
“Then that leaves no doubt me Hme Harm… We’re getting married at Walt Disney World.”
“How do you figure that?”
“Well the visions and, and the silly dream I had on the first. It would explain why Harriet and everyone is being so quiet about the wedding.”
“So, what should we do about it Mac? What dream? Was it the one you were smiling on my chest?”
“That’s the beauty of it all. We can’t do anything. We signed contracts. I have to hand it to Harriet; she’s brilliant. I just wonder how much this is costing… Talk about circus, I bet everyone’s in on it. Yes, that one.”
“That would explain why everyone suddenly appeared that one day and we thought we missed an important meeting.”
“Harm, it’s obvious that Harriet and everyone have put a lot of work into whatever is going on. Maybe we could be wrong and we’re having a simple small wedding at Annapolis in the chapel…”
“Naaah,” they both say a couple minutes later, looking at each other.
“I say let’s just play along,” says Mac.
“I suppose. Hopefully no one will notice that we know. I think it would crush everybody, and I think A.J. is in on this too. I think he ordered no one to say anything.”
“Oh Harm, we could really toy with them… Start humming Disney movie tunes in the lunch room or at parties…”
“Oh Mac, you’re bad.”
“I know, but I’m your bad girl.”
“Don’t I know it,” Harm says before leaning over to kiss Mac as she leans against the counter near the fridge.
“Ok, now cut that out. I’m starving.
Harm serves up the food and two drinks on the dining room table. He holds out her chair for her and pushes it in when she is ready. He sits down with two forks.
“Oh no Harm, I don’t want to eat this with a fork. In the kitchen, in the drawer next to the fridge there are chopsticks.”
“Chopsticks, coming right up.”
Harm goes back into the kitchen, puts the two forks away, and grabs two pair of chopsticks.
“There you are,” Harm says sitting down.
“Much better. Shall we dig in?”
Mac has seen Harm eat with chopsticks before and did pretty well, but tonight not so well. He fails miserably, stabbing the sweet and sour chicken and treating it like a shish kabob.
“Oh this isn’t fair.”
“Harm, don’t worry. You won’t starve.”
“But I was trying to be romantic and you want me to eat with these things.”
“If it makes you feel better, go get a fork.”
Harm puts the chopsticks down and gets himself a fork. Dinner is quite fun even though technically it is a very early breakfast, since it is well after midnight. After dinner they stand, Harm takes the plates into the kitchen, and Mac goes into the living room waits for Harm. He comes in a minute later and takes her hand in his. She rests her head on his chest over his beating heart, his other arm wraps around her waistline. Mac puts her right arm up around Harm’s neck and, The Power Of Love comes on the stereo. He pulls her closer as he begins a closer slow dance. They are picture perfect together. Then Harm scoops her up into his arms and carries her back upstairs to bed for the rest of the day. They spend some quality time together sleeping and Harm holds Mac. Mac likes being held in bed, she doesn’t want their relationship to be just about sex. Intimacy is also needed in a relationship and Harm is ok with that.

9:00 a.m.
“Ok Mac, here’s the checklists for the Honeymoon, wedding, and your bride’s emergency kit. Let’s get started. This will save us time in the long run,” says Harriet.
“I’ll do the packing and you can check them off for me. Then I want you to help Harm pack. I don’t want Bud to help, because when you get two men to pack they’re bound to forget something important.”
“Right,” Harriet laughs, “I was just thinking looking at this bride’s emergency kit and wondering what the groom’s emergency kit must look like.”
“A bunch of condoms, a bottle of something alcoholic, and a nudie magazine, I bet,” Mac and Harriet laugh.
“There’s a lot on the bride’s list. We could shorten it to birth control pills, a bottle of something non-alcoholic, and a male stripper’s hotel room key for you...” Harriet says and Mac laughs.
“Save that for the Bachelorette Party Emergency Kit.”
After they build their composure, Harriet finally starts the list.
“Ok. Here goes. Airline tickets, reservations, and travel itinerary.”
“We don’t have any honeymoon plans just yet, so don’t cross that off yet.”
“Ok but, don’t waste much more time.
“Passport, Traveler’s Checks, emergency phone numbers,” Harriet asks.
“Done, no, and in my cell phone.”
“But you better have a paper copy in case you lose your phone.”
“Right.”
“Ok, more solid things. Medications, underwear, and night wear.”
“Ok, got those. Emergency nightwear? Oh yeah a pair of shorts and t-shirt. I’ll save the pretty stuff for the bigger luggage. I’m going to be taking the dress I wore the night he proposed.”
“Oh Mac, that was a beautiful dress.”
“Why don’t you get started on the toiletries?”
“Sure Mac.”
Mac and Harriet finish up packing by noon. Harm comes home and starts hunting in the fridge for lunch. Harriet goes into the kitchen.
“Harm, go with Harriet. I’ll make lunch,” says Mac, and they go upstairs to the bedroom.
“Ok Harriet, what’s up?”
“Ok, have you got a honeymoon planned or not?”
“Yes, I do. I’m not the most unromantic guy. It’s just…”
“It’s just what?”
“She wants to wait and put more time on the books so that we can take a longer leave when we do decide to go.”
“Okay, so what’s the problem?”
“I wanted to have a honeymoon right away.”
“So what’s the problem? Sweep her off her feet and take her on a honeymoon, even if you have to cut your plans short. I can’t ask where’re ’re going because I’m in the honeymoon pool, but I say take her away.”
“Okay, now you have to come clean with me Harriet.”
“About what?”
“The wedding. Are we getting married in Florida?”
Harriet debates whether to tell him or not.
“Yes… But how did you find out?”
“Sergei’s visa paperwork. I told Mac and she’s absolutely sure we’re getting married at Walt Disney World.”
Harriet makes a little sound at the mention of Walt Disney World and looks down at the floor. Harm immediately picks up on this.
“Harrrriet, what have you done,” Harm asks in a warning tone.
“I can’t tell you, because I don’t exactly know,” she lies.
“Oh Mac’s just going to flip.”
“Please don’t tell Mac anything more than you already have.”
“How could you not exactly know what’s going on? You’ve been working with the wedding planner for chrissakes.”
“Ok I lied, but Harm we’ve been working on this for over a year. Don’t take all the surprise out of it for the rest of us.”
“Just exactly, who is us?”
“Well all the wedding party and the attendants.”
“Oh, I see,” Harm looks at Harriet.
He goes over and sits next to her on the storage box at the end of the bed.
“Don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything,” Harm says smiling at her, “I’ll put on my best, I don’t know anything look.”
“Thanks Harm.”
“Your welcome Harriet. Is there anything else I need to know for the immediate future?”
“Well, Commander Keeter and his wife, Commander Coulter and her date, Chloe and her boyfriend Keith, the Admiral’s daughter Francesca and her date, Lieutenant Hawkes and fiancé, and Commander Manetti and her date are flying into DC on the 6th, we all leave for Florida when your parents call me.”
“Just when were you going to tell us?”
“At 30,000 feet.”
“I see. Mac knows Chloe and Keith are coming in on the 6th, but she doesn’t know we are leaving on the 7th. I will help keep Mac in the dark about the 7th, I want you to come over the night before we’re leaving and pick up our luggage. Where are we flying out of, Small Airstrip?”
“Yes. That would help and you can drive her to the airstrip. I’ll ring twice on your cell and that will be the signal to head out to the airstrip.”
“Now what is it Mac wanted me up here for?”
“Mac wants me to help you pack.”
“I see.”

Harriet mans Commander Coulter and her dates’ flight; A.J. takes his daughter and dates’ flight, Bud mans Commander Manetti and her dates’ flight. Commander Keeter and wife’s flight is Chaplain Turner’s watch. Harm is waiting for “Skates” and her fiancé. Mac is waiting near Chloe and Keith’s gate. Chloe and Keith are the first to arrive, and Mac is almost a nervous wreck.
“Mac!”
“Chloe! You made it,” Mac says as she wraps her in a big hug, “So where is he?”
“Keith’s coming. He told me to come out and meet you first. He’s waiting for most of the plane to empty.”
“He sounds nice already. So what’s the 411 on this dude?”
“Well he’s… Keith! Over here!”
Mac turns to see this 6-foot tall walking tree, with long dirty blond hair pulled back in a ponytail, and a backpack. His tiny earphones hang around his neck, the wire running through his shirt.
JAG H.Q.

10:00 a.m.
Coates is the watch for JAG. People started arriving as early as 8:00 a.m. She puts tags on which van the luggage is supposed to go to and arranged a place for luggage, Mac’s office for the ladies and Harm’s office for the gentlemen’s luggage. Tiner arrived early to help as well. He helped move the desks and luggage, and well to keep Coates company, in his mind anyway… Then the 3 rented 15 passenger vans pulled up at JAG, with Commander Turner, Admiral Boone, and Jack Logan. They get out of the white vans and head into H.Q. Tiner and the three men load up each of the vans and Coates gives them the directions to the Roberts Residence and takes a seat in the lead van with Commander Turner, and Tiner rides with Jack Logan.

The three vans arrive and Mikey is there to help them park in the right order. Jack Logan carpools Commander Turner, Admiral Boone, Tiner and Coates to JAG so that they could pick up their cars and go about their day. The general plan, the Burnett’s would call around midnight-1:00 a.m. They would all drive to the Roberts’ Residence and then take the vans to the airstrip. The phone rings about 12: 35 a.m. and it’s Trish calling. Harriet immediately kicks into high gear and calls the troops. Then she dashes into Little A.J.’s room to get him ready in his Buzz Lightyear pajamas with the feet. Bud dresses and starts down the stairs, to go pick the van he wanted to ride shotgun in.

Mac was sleeping in the car as Harm drove his Vette’. Harm had been pacing some after Mac went to bed. He got the two rings. He went up to the bedroom scooped Mac up out of bed and put her in his car. She had woken up when he started the engine and he told her that he was taking her out for a crescent moon drive, and he’d wake her when they got to where he wanted to go, and then she went back to sleep. Mac was in her pajamas, Harm in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. He had a bomber jacked on but that went to cover up Mac in the Vette’ seat. When they arrive, Harriet is waiting for them on the staircase. She could see that Mac was asleep so she didn’t call out to Harm.
Harm carefully carries her up the staircase into the plane. They sit in the front of the plane while Harriet lets the crew know they are ready to go. AJ Chegwidden, Sturgis Turner, Carolyn Imes, Bud Roberts, Jennifer Coates, Jason Tiner, Victor Galindez, A.J.
