Chapter Eleven

He met Lois at the school and they made their way to the Torch. Clark was really upset and Lois was a little nervous about the revelation he had revealed to her earlier that day about being gay.

“I need to find Coach Teague,” he said with glowing green eyes that held lots of worry, “He attacked me in my loft.”

“Well,” Lois said with her usual smirk, “With that terrible performance on the field today…I can see why.”

“The cheerleaders are spiking the cooler,” he said and her comment had really hurt, “That is why the players and Chloe are acting really weird.”

“Nice work, Green Eyes,” she said crossing her arms, “Would you like to know how they’re going about it?”

“You know how they’re doing it,” Clark asked.

“Chloe goes all crazy,” she said and took his arm, “Yeah, look what I found.”

She picked up a folder off the cluttered desk, “Look.”

“So,” Clark said looking it over, “Mandy and Dandy did a science project, big deal.”

“This is our smoking gun,” she said turning it so he could get a better look, “According to the chemistry teacher, they researched a hormone called phenylethyamine.”

“Say that three times fast,” Clark dared her and she rolled her eyes giving him the folder to look at.

He looked up at her with confusion, “The love molecule?”

“Exactly,” Lois said.

“A love potion,” Clark asked in awe.

“Yeah,” she said, “But it didn’t work the first time.”

“Until they added the meteor rock,” Clark said and it all made perfect sense now.

“Whatever,” Lois smirked. He really was smart when you looked beyond the goofy expressions his pretty face made.

“We have to reverse it,” he said.

“It has to wear off sooner or later,” Lois said taking the folder back, “Otherwise they wouldn’t need to keep dosing them with love potion number nine.”

“We don’t have time for that to happen,” Clark said, “What if another player or Chloe goes into a jealous rage and starts hurting someone?”

Lois blinked, “Wait a minute.”

She walked over to Chloe’s desk, “You took a drink of it too…I saw you.”

Clark was so glad he had his back to her or she would have seen the shock on his face. This was not good. How was he supposed to explain this?

Both spun around to face each other at the same time and Lois asked, “How come you’re not all love slave?”

“I don’t know,” Clark lied, “I have amnesia.”

“That science report is in Mandy’s overpriced faux Prada bag,” Lois said with another one of her infamous eye rolls, “It might just tell us how to stop it.”

Clark nodded and Lois suddenly got right in his face, “And…presumably…you’re infected.”

Clark was thinking this over and did not like where it was going. Was he going to have to make out with Mandy? Just thinking about it made him want to lick meteor rock.

“The cheerleaders are having a pool party tonight,” Lois said and winked, “How do you look in a swimsuit, Clark?”

He looked at the letter opener on Chloe’s desk. He could make it look like a mercy killing…he really could.

“I’m gay,” he said, “Remember?”

“I know,” she smiled evilly, “And now you can tell your parents that it was Mandy who did it to you.”

What in the hell had they gotten themselves into? This was so not right. Guys were in grass skirts with coconut bras on.

Clark felt really uncomfortable in his blue swimming trunks and white t-shirt. He rapped the red towel around his shoulders tighter to make himself feel better. He hated wearing shorts…and he hated wearing flip flops. His feet were so big and he felt awkward. He cocked his head to the side and thought why that was…he didn’t remember.

Lois spotted the bag and pushed him, “Go get it, boy.”

“Lois, I don’t think,” he tried only to be shoved forward again.

“Go,” she hissed and her eyes looked deadly.

“Lois,” he tried only be pushed harder this time, “Okay.”

He decided that it was time to play cute and dumb. Cheerleaders simply loved guys who were cute and dumb. Just look at some of the assholes they were dating. If it wasn’t for the love potion, all these other guys would rather make love to their footballs. That thought really made him laugh.

“Hi, Mandy,” Clark said and smiled with big green eyes. He was the perfect picture of an overgrown adorable teddy bear.

“Hey, Clark,” she said and sat her drink down next to her, “Welcome to the party, cutie.”

He nodded and looked over at Lois who looked like she was about to drink his blood. He felt a chill go down his spine. That woman was scary. Mandy took a look and Clark quickly grabbed her and gave her a big wet kiss that had her moaning.

Lois moved for the bag while Clark watched from his kissing point. Why in the hell was she moving so damn slow? Just grab the damn Prada and run woman!

He pulled away from Mandy’s over glossed lips and smiled, remembering Chloe and told her, “I’m completely devoted to you, Mandy.”

She looked him over as Lois got closer to the bag. Mandy quickly lifted up his shirt and saw his ripped like Jesus abs of steel.

“Oh, hell yeah,” Mandy laughed happily, “I can so work with this.”

She grabbed her bag making Lois curse and pulled Clark after her. He was so not use to walking in flip flops and almost fell on his face. He felt really off balance wearing the damn things.

He turned around and hissed, “Lois…”

Lois pointed at the bag and he had no choice but to let Mandy drag him along like a teddy on a leash. This was a disaster.

Mandy pulled him into the workout room and devoured his soft pouting lips. He was so debating on washing his mouth out with liquid meteor rock.

She pushed him down on the workout bench and straddled his narrow waist. She was all hot and wet for him and he was as limp as a wet noodle. She was so gross.

Lois opened the door and looked to see them making out and felt like throwing up.

“Oh,” Mandy purred, “You’re so strong.”

Lois darted behind a workout machine just as Clark pulled back and smiled, “And…you’re so beautiful…”

Mandy giggled and kissed him again as Lois stuck her finger down her throat, “This is so gross.”

Mandy pulled Clark’s towel from his shoulders and tossed it. It smacked Lois right in the face which made her almost yelp. She was so not happy and Clark could feel it.

Mandy pulled him up and kissed him over to another seat. Why wouldn’t she put the damn bag down? All they wanted to do was steal it.

“So, tell me,” Mandy said from on top of him, “Since you like me so much…what are you going to do for me?”

Lois was sneaking over to them and Clark said, “I’ll take you out to dinner.”

She kissed him madly again and he rolled his eyes in a perfect Lois fashion as he moved for the bag on her shoulder. He looked to see Lois shaking her head and he sighed…but made it sound like a growl.

“I’ll…cook,” he told her as she sucked on his smooth neckline, “I’ll cook you dinner.”

Lois nodded and almost snorted when Mandy said in a Paris like fashion, “That’s hawt.”

Lois was not looking happy and he quickly pulled the bag off her shoulder and tossed it to the floor pointing at it madly. Take the bag and go! I want out of here now!

“You seem really distracted,” Mandy teased.

“I’m just nervous,” Clark told her with a full on shy smile.

“Why,” she asked.

“I’ve never done what I think we’re about to do,” he whispered and Lois felt his panic.

Mandy grinned darkly and kissed him hard. She was going to make him a man.

Lois moved out from under the desk to get the bag only to crawl back when Mandy pulled Clark up again. Can’t the dumb bitch stay in one place? Jesus!

She picked her bag back up again and Clark had her lay on top of the desk. This was so unromantic. He was going to kill Lois…hey…he could just grab the damn bag and run for it.

Lois peeked out and Clark dropped the bag right on her head. She looked through the bag only for Clark’s shirt to fall on her face. She was so out of here.

She quickly got to her feet and snuck from the room with “gross” written all over her face. Clark making out with a girl just seemed so wrong.

She opened the bag, “All right,” she said pulling out the folder only to cry out when someone hit her on the back of the head.

“Chloe,” Lois yelled, “What the fuck?”

“I know what you’re up too,” Chloe hissed smacking her with a metal stick, “I went through this with Lana and I’m not about to go through it again with my own cousin.”

“Do what,” Lois asked as she dodged her swings with the stick.

“Stealing Clark away from me,” she roared and swung the stick with all her might.

“Shit,” Lois hissed and ducked.

888888888888888888888888888

“Bored,” Mandy asked.

“No,” Clark quickly lied and tried to stifle a yawn, “Of course not…I love you.”

“Good,” she smiled down at him as she pinched his pink nipple between her sharp nails, “Because I’m just getting started.”

“Oh, god,” Clark whispered, “Lois…”

888888888888888888888888888

“Chloe this is so stupid,” Lois yelled quickly side stepping the swing, “I don’t want to have to hurt your ass!”

She knocked the weapon from Chloe’s hand and punched her to the ground.

“Too late,” Chloe snarled angrily, “You already did.”

She launched herself at Lois who back kicked her, which caused Chloe to spin around and touch the boiler. Chloe screamed and fell to her knees looking at her hands in shock.

“Oh,” Lois said and quickly ran to her, “Sorry, sorry, sorry…are you okay?”

“Yeah,” Chloe said looking around, “What happened? How in the hell did I get here?”

Lois looked up at the flames, “Heat?”

88888888888888888888888888888

“So,” Mandy asked toying with the strings on Clark’s swim trunks, “How far do you want to go?”

“Right about there would be awesome,” Lois said fighting to keep from going and pulling the dumb bitch off Clark, “Thanks.”

Mandy hopped off Clark and he praised Jesus as he grabbed his shirt before he ran to hide behind his two friends.

“Are you okay, Chloe,” he asked while quickly putting his shirt on so he felt less naked. Where had his sandals gotten off to?

“I can’t believe you, Clark,” Mandy said and crossed her arms.

“Oh, give me a fucking break,” Lois said, “You have to resort to chemistry to keep a boy.”

“I’m sick of being second to a football,” Mandy hissed.

“I knew it,” Clark shouted only to blush at the looks he was getting from all three, “Sorry.”

“Anyway,” Lois said turning back to her, “So you made a bunch of psychos.”

“What took you so long,” Clark asked clawing at his tongue only to realize he had touched Mandy too. He was going to need to bathe in meteor rock.

“She was attacked by a crazy plumber,” Chloe quickly said.

“Yeah,” Lois agreed, “A crazy little bitch.”

“Did you figure out the cure,” Clark asked trying his best not to run to the showers in the other room.

“Of course,” Lois smiled, “I am a genius after all.”

Clark just looked at her and Lois snapped, “So I accidentally kicked her onto the furnace…at least she snapped out of it.”

“Just like Dan did when the gun heated up,” Clark said.

“Exactly,” Lois said.

“Its heat,” Clark said.

“Yeah,” Lois agreed.

“Where’s Mandy,” Chloe asked, still feeling really confused.

All three looked around and Lois snapped at Clark, “Why to go Green Eyes. You let her get away.”

“Me,” Clark asked in outrage, “You’re closer to the door.”

“Guys,” Chloe said, “Guys!”

Mandy came walking back in and Lois sneered, “We were just talking about you and those split ends of yours.”

Mandy’s eyes flashed with pure venom.

“Yeah,” she asked and put both hands on her hips, “Well, now you’re going to wish you never crossed me.”

“Oh shit,” Lois cried out and threw her hands up in the air in mock horror, “Look out everyone! She’s going to cheer us to death!”

Lois threw her head back and howled with laughter.

Clark and Chloe both looked at each other.

Suddenly three guys walked in with baseball bats and Clark quickly got in front of his girls. This was not good.

“Let’s get out of here,” Clark said taking Chloe by the arm and led her to the exit door, “Come on Lois.”

“Bring it on,” Lois laughed with tears in her eyes, “Bitch.”

A guy swung, which had Lois ducking. She kicked him right in the balls which send him to his knees howling in pain.

“What are you doing,” Clark yelled.

“Got any explosives,” Lois asked.

“You so gonna pay, bitch,” Mandy screamed.

Clark looked up and saw the “Caution Hot” sign on a pipe. He was about to use his heat vision to blast it when it suddenly exploded on its own. Mandy and the three guys were doused in hot steam.

“What the hell was that,” Lois asked in shock.

“I’m not sure,” Clark said looking around with his x-ray vision, “But that was pretty lucky, huh?”

“Yeah,” Lois said looking at Mandy who was hissing like a viper, “You better have that kind of luck tomorrow on the field.”

Clark frowned and then rolled his eyes as they left.

A dark figure stepped out of the dancing shadows to watch them leave. A smile crossed his face as violet fire burned in his beautiful eyes.

Clark was standing in his loft looking at the last entry in his journal again and thinking about what Lex had told him earlier. He laid the journal down on his desk and walked over to the open window to look up at the stars in the sky. Lex had promised him that he would not lie to him anymore and he had anyway. He had looked at all the files and had burned them to ash with his tears. Did Lex lie to him about having another copy of everything that was weird about him? He didn’t know. He wished he could read minds like Ryan could. If only he could remember Ryan and not what he had just written about the kid he had thought of as a little brother.

Should he go talk to Lex? Maybe Lex really was sorry and had told the truth about having no more files on him. He didn’t remember loving Lex but he could forgive him.

In a super burst of speed, he was gone.

8888888888888888888888888888888

Lex was standing in his secret room that was no longer his secret. Everything he had ever had on Clark had been destroyed, except for the car. This car was special to him. It would always remind him of the day that life had been breathed back into him by his beautiful green eyed farmboy that was no longer his.

“Sir,” a voice said from behind him at the door, “Clark Kent is downstairs and he wishes to speak with you.”

“Send him up,” Lex said pushing the tears back.

He was scared.

A few minutes later, Clark came walking to the room he had read about in his journal. The room was huge and dark. The only thing left was the car his journal had described. Did he really pull Lex out of that?

“When Charles told me that you wanted to see me, I couldn’t believe it,” Lex said turning to see Clark walking down the steps, “The investigation is over, Clark.”

Clark looked at him and then at the ruined car that was mangled, “What’s that?”

“This would be the Porsche you pulled me out of the day we met,” he told him as he turned to look at it in remembrance of that frightening and wondrous day. He had been smitten with Clark’s brightness and generous soul. Clark had offered him his friendship with not strings attached and Lex had taken it hook, line, and sinker. Clark had been and still was the only good thing in his life. He begged whatever deity was listening not to take that away from him. He might just go crazy and destroy the world.

“Why is it still here,” Clark asked in secret curiosity.

Lex walked right up to the remains of the Porsche, and was almost in tears as he kept his back to Clark, in order to keep him from seeing the emotion on his face.

“To remind me of what I almost lost,” he said softly, “It’s over Clark. I don’t want to lose you.”

He turned around and went to him, “Can we give our friendship another chance?”

Clark really didn’t need to think about it. He could see the truth in Lex’s eyes. He truly was sorry and wanted his forgiveness.

“All right,” Clark said walking up to him, “I need your help with a major pain in my…I have this problem.”

“Absolutely,” Lex said and fought to keep from jumping for joy, “What is it?”

“It’s a who,” Clark said and the “who” was said with a hiss, “If you want to call her that.”

Lex just looked at him and Clark rolled his eyes, “Lois Lane.”

Lex grinned.
