On The Way To Heaven

Craig walked over them and sat next to Yvette

Craig- Hey we're thinking of camping out here.
Yvette- Nice...
Marco- Yeah... Lemmie go see what Dylan is doing...

Marco got up and left leaving Craig and Yvette alone

Craig- Feeling?
Yvette- Im good Craig, don't worry.

Craig stared at her

Craig- Are you mad at me?
Yvette- No. I just don't think I should have come...
Craig- But we get to be...
Yvette- Thats why Craig. We're not HERE together...

She got up swiftly and walked into the woods. Craig, instinctively, walked to go get her out of there.

Yvette broke into a run but Craig was on to it and caught up, grabbing her hand

Craig- Vett...
Yvette- NO CRAIG OK?

She could no longer hold in tears forming in her eyes.

Yvette- You know Paige is noticing...
Craig- Yeah but Ashley doesn't believe her... I dunno if she's talked to Spin...
Yvette- CRAIG! Don't you see? This has to end! I can't keep hiding
Craig- Then let's NOT hide.
Yvette- No! Not happening...
Craig- Yvette, just enjoy this trip with me please?
Yvette- Craig we're not here together... we can't enjoy it together...

They stood there for a while, starring at each other quietly. Suddenly leaves shook behind them and there appeared Spinner. He looked at them rather confused.

Spin- What... what are you two doing here?

Yvette pulled her face into a smile

Yvette- Nothing baby. Craig and I were thinking about where we wanted to camp... This is no good Craig we should see if Dylan found a way to the lake...

Craig watched with anger as Yvette grabbed Spinner's hand and walked back towards the clearing.

Craig- DAMN IT!

Craig sat down on the floor and stared at the lake. Suddenly he saw everyone walked around down there and realized they had found a path.

Craig walked back to the clearing and Hazel led him down to the lake.

Hazel- So should we all be unpacking the tents and stuff?
Yvette- On no... I forgot my sleeping bag.
Spinner- You can sleep on mine with me hun. You brought blankets and all...

Craig's face turned red and he quickly said

Craig- I brought an extra one Yvette...

Yvette looked at him, she knew he wasn't lying but still, the idea of him showing his emotions almost openly was a bit scary. She also knew she felt the same way he did, she didn't really feel like sharing with Spinner

Yvette- Thanks Craig. Sowwie babe...
Spinner- Oh... no prob hun...

Yvette smiled almost shyly and walked to Marco and Dylan, jumping on Dylan's back.

Spinner- Dude! You're ruining my game!

Craig looked at him, too oddly for Spinner's taste.

Craig- Dude... Maybe she doesn't wanna sleep with you...
Spinner- ... How would you know? And what's your prob man? Its like you're jealous...
Craig- No way

Craig lied

Craig- I have Ash...

Spinner wasn't very convinced but he nodded in agreement

Spinner- Yeah... I know. Sorry dude...

Later, in the dark, they all sat talking. Craig and Yvette hadn't spoken since he offered her a sleeping.

Yvette and Dylan threw marshmellows at each other while Craig strummed on his guitar. Ashley hummed quietly, Ellie wrote. Paige spoke to Hazel and Jimmy while Spinner spoke to Marco.

Craig looked up and watched Yvette laughing, still strumming his guitar. Words started to flow through his mind. Things he wanted to say... things he shouldn't.

Yvette soon started to yawn, tired. She got up and kissed Dylan on the head and then walked over to Spinner.

Yvette- Babe... I need a nappie... Imma go to bedders okie?
Spinner- No prob hun... Um... Want me to go to bed with you too?

This was the first time Spinner had ever mentioned sleeping with her. In fact, he had never slept with her at all. Not even on his sofa during a movie. The idea startled her.

Yvette- No... You have fun ok? Goodnight... I'll probably be asleep by the time you go to bed...

Craig looked at her slip into her and Spinner's tent. Suddenly an idea came to his mind, but it would only work at the RIGHT moment...

Yvette woke up late at night with a sudden urge to pee.

Yvette- Uhgh!

She quietly stepped over sleeping Spinner, who she had pushed away as soon as he passed out, and grabbed a roll of toilet paper and stepped into the woods. But as she looked around, she lost the need to pee.

Yvette- ... man i hate when this happens... i should have stayed in the HEY!

Craig suddenly appeared out of no where, kissing her, pulling her down...
