Chapter 13/?
Cascade, Washington
November 28, 1991 = Friday
11:00 a.m.
It was about a week later, when Jim and Blair finally found the house they wanted to call home. The house had four rooms; two baths and a back yard, where Harry would be able to play and maybe even have parties.
The next day they put their bid in and began to wait to find out if they got the house. It was two weeks later; while at work, that Jim received a call from the real estate agent saying that they had won the bid on the house.
Getting off the phone, “Babe, we go the house.” Jim announced, while Blair was *going* the paperwork.
“That’s great. We should tell everyone.” Blair said, with a big smile.
“Hey guys, we have an announcement to make. We just found out that we won the bid on the house.” Announced Jim.
“Congratulations. When can we come over and see the house?” Inquired Simon.
“Give us about a month. We want to first settle in before we have anyone over.” Answered Blair. (What Blair really wanted was to make sure that the protection is all set up and will work.)
“What does Harry think about the new house?” Asked H.
“He loves the back yard.” Jim answered, with a smile.
“We’ll have to see it when we come over.” Said Rafe.
“I’m glade for you guys, now get back to work.” Simon said, with a smile.
“It’s the third best news I’ve ever heard.” Said Blair, while working.
“What do we do first?” Inquired Jim.
“When you told me you loved me.” Blair answered, with a smile. “We should get back to work.”
“Do you think Simon would let us go early today?”
“We could always ask him.”
“We’ll ask him a little later.”
Ellison-Sandburg’s New Home
December 9, 1991 = Tuesday
5:00 p.m.
It was a week later when the Ellison-Sandburg household had finally moved into their new home.
“I think we should perform the ritual tomorrow before you go to work.” Blair said, while putting away the dishes.
“Shouldn’t we wait until Saturday?” Inquired Jim.
“No, I want to get the protection around the house, so I know Harry can be safe.” Blair answered, looking where Harry was playing.
“What time do you want to perform the protection?”
“We should do it around seven o’clock in the morning, and don’t tell me it’s too early.” Blair said, with a smile.
“O.k. we’ll do it your way.” Jim answered, with his own smile. “Now lets go play with our son.”
Ellison-Sandburg House
December 19, 1991 = Saturday
7:00 a.m.
It was Saturday when all three of them got up early, so Blair could perform the ritual of protection around the house. Making sure that Harry was sitting in the middle of the house, and Jim was sitting behind Harry in a protective manner. Then taking out the medicine bag, Blair walked outside and began to sprinkle the herbs around the house while chanting in Chopec. He then walked back into the house, while still chanting began to sprinkle the herbs around the house. While still chanting Blair then sat down in front of Harry, took his hands.
Five minutes later a light blue glow began to surround the outside and inside the house, and around the three people. As Blair continued to chant the light blue glow began to envelope Jim, Blair, and Harry, until they were suspended off the floor. Then two minutes later, they all began to float back down.
“Was that all?” Jim asked, when he felt the glow recede.
“Yes, lets put him back to sleep.” Blair said, when he saw that Harry had fallen back to sleep.
“I guess it all wore him out.” Jim said, as he stood up.
“It wore me out too.” Said Blair. “While you put him back to bed, I’m going to look around.”
It was three hours later, when Jim and Blair got up and fixed breakfast before waking Harry. After breakfast, Jim took Harry outside to play in the backyard. While Jim and Harry were outside, Blair walked around their home feeling the protective magic that surrounded the house. When he was sure that their residence was protected, Blair decided to go outside and watch Harry play. As Blair walked out, he felt the protection encircle around him.
“Are you having fun?” Blair asked, as he sat down on one of the benches.
“Ye, ith’s fun.” Harry said, with a big smile.
It was around twelve o’clock when Harry was put down for a nap, while Jim made lunch for the both of them. It was an hour later when Harry woke up from his nap and was given his lunch. While Harry was eating, Jim and Blair talked and decided to visit William.
As they walked out of the house, all three off them felt something encircle around them, which caused all three of them to shudder from the feeling.
They arrived at William’s house around one, and decided to spend the rest of the day with William and Lucy. While there Lucy spoiled Harry with cookies. He also spent time with William, who read to him or played with him along with Jim and Blair. Then around five o’clock, Jim and Blair decided that it was time to go home. They it was time to go home, when Harry began to act out from being tired. When they arrived home, they felt the protection of the house surround them again.
While Harry was taking a nap and Blair was cooking dinner, Jim went into the study to look over the paperwork of the two deceased individuals. For some reason, there was no explanation, reason and/or cause for their death. He went over the files with again to make sure that he didn’t miss anything, but couldn’t find anything. Jim finally gave up for the night, when Blair called him to dinner.

December 7, 1991 = Monday
4:00 p.m.
It has been almost a month since the death of the two people and still they haven’t gotten a clue on who killed them. Even with Jim’s vision after touching both victims. Even when Blair went through the report himself, or when he tried to use his Shamanistic powers.
“Have you found anything new?” Simon asked, as he himself went through the reports.
“No. We can’t seem to make sense of these reports, and we’ve been through them at least ten times. Blair even tried to use his Shamanistic powers and still nothing.” Answered Jim.
“What about your vision?”
“I’ve written everything I could remember, and it still doesn’t make any sense.”
“Can’t we do anything else?”
“Not until we get more information or unless someone comes forward.” Said Blair, in a tired voice.
“Well I guess that’s it, we’ll have to put this case on hold until we get more evidence.”
Knowing that they had no choice, Jim and Blair agreed, “I guess you’re right, even though I hate to give up.” Jim said, in a dejected voice.
Deciding to change the subject, “So, how is the new house working out and when are we going to be invited?”
“It’s great. It has enough rooms and a back yard for Harry to play around.” Jim answered, with a smile.
“Why don’t you and the rest of the squad room come over on Saturday?”
“I’ll talk to everyone, but I’m sure they’ll be happy, especially when they can see Harry. How is Harry anyway?”
“He’s doing great. He’s reading more and he knows almost all the animals I show him.” Blair answered, in a proud voice.
“You should hear him when he reads. He’s so proud of himself.” Jim said, with a proud smile.
“I can’t wait.”
“I’m sure he’ll be *glade* to read to you.”
“Then we’ll all see you Saturday.” Simon said, before they left his office.

Number 8 Privet Drive, Figg’s House
December 15, 1991 = Saturday
5:00 p.m.
It has now been almost month since Arabella Figg moved to Private Drive to look out for Harry Potter, but she hadn’t ever seen him.
Deciding that something was wrong Arabella contacted the Headmaster again, “Albus, I haven’t seen the boy in a month. No one has.”
“Arabella, I told you everything is fine. I’m sure they picked a different baby sitter.” Albus said, in a soothing voice.
“No they didn’t. Because if they did, they would leave their son with that person too.”
With that announcement Albus became worried, “Step back Arabella, I’m coming through.” A minute later Albus came through the fireplace along with Minerva McGonagall.
‘You should have listened to me, when I told you the first time that Harry wasn’t there.”
“I apologize Arabella, but the wards told me that Harry was still in the house.” Albus said, in an
apologetic voice.
“I understand Albus, but you should still have been looking into it.” Scolded Arabella.
“Of course, come along.”
A minute later they arrived at Privet Drive, “Yes, can I help you?” Petunia asked, when she opened the door.
“Hello Mrs. Dursley…”
“What do you want?” Petunia asked, when she realized who was at the door.
“Mrs. Dursley, Petunia we wish to know where Harry Potter is?” Inquired Dumbledore.
“We never wanted him in the first place, so we gave him up for adoption.”
“Petunia, he was very important to the world.” Dumbledore said, in a shocked voice.
“Maybe to your world, but to ours he meant nothing.” Petunia said, in a hateful voice.
“How could you Petunia, giving away your sisters son?” Minerva asked, in a shocked voice.
“My sister was a freak and so was her husband. I wasn’t about to have her abomination in my house, and with my own son here.”
“Petunia…”
“I don’t want to hear it. What do you want?” Petunia asked, in an impatient voice.
“We would like to know where the adoption agency is located?” Inquired Albus.
“It was Social Services.”
“Do you know whom Harry was given to?” Minerva asked, becoming impatient.
“I contacted a distant relative on my grandmother’s side.”
“Do you have their address?”
“No, I through the paper away after contacting them.”
“Do you know where they live at least?” Asked Albus.
“I believe in the states. Now please leave.” Petunia said, as she opened the door.
Walking out of the house, “Albus, what are we going to do?” Minerva asked, in a worried voice.
“We’ll do a locater spell.” Albus answered, in a distracted voice.
