Sarah Walker: the Volkov chronicles
All is not what it appears
Sarah returned to her room confident that she had total control of the situation. She had a pretty good idea where the safe was now located, and she was sure that she had Jean in her back pocket now. She was so confident in fact, that she decided to go to bed and forgot to activate her jamming device.
Jean sat behind his fathers desk and gave a frustrated sigh. He was being reactive, and he didn’t like it. He was pretty sure that Sarah was playing him, and his father taught him to be proactive in these situations.
Jean was much closer to his father than it appeared. The charade they played in public depicting a very strained relationship, was carefully crafted for their protection. It gave them the advantage and served them well. His father’s enemies would see Jean as a non threat and even try to solicit him to set his father up, but the set up always seemed to be discovered.
The best part was that they were so good at it, that the connection to Jean was never revealed, so it preserved this hidden layer of security.
They played the same game with his household staff as well, especially the women. Usually the women who were after his father looked on him as an unwelcome impediment. That was until he fucked them. Jean was his father’s son and used his position to all its advantages. He designed his father’s cyber security, as well as his passive security measures in his office. As a reward his father encouraged him have his fill of all the women he desired, even his stepmother. Jean was prolific, In addition to his stepmother, more that a few former nanny’s left the Lafayette house hold with swollen bellies and large bank accounts.
He wasn’t stupid, multiple women had tried in an effort to get to his father, including his step mother, but something about Sarah seemed off.
He found her in his father’s office, and as no security alarms went off, he assumed that she got in by beating the security, but that wasn’t easy to do.
As a matter of fact the only way was through the vent above the desk, but Jean knew this and installed a passive sensor. Usually when the office was occupied he turned it off because it was so sensitive, that the air conditioner would set it off.
It was on only because the office wasn’t occupied that he had it on. The device works by measuring a change in the ambient temperature of the duct, and a sweating person would certainly raise the temperature. It was an alert on his phone that triggered him to go to his father’s office, where he found Sarah.
That was very unusual. So he did a passive scan of security systems and found multiple new camera signatures. Intrigued, he went deeper and within a few minutes unearthed all of Sarah’s cameras.
After an initial flash of anger passed his face, he quietly reviewed the footage from the hidden camera in the office, until a sardonic smile slid across his face. He saw her locate the safe and knew that was her objective.
“I’m gonna have to stop you Sarah,” he said softly.
“But first...I’m going to fuck you.”
