Part 11
Outside Hera and the others were talking. Everyone was glad Dez and the infants were find and just to make sure things were okay with Joxer, Hera extended her powers.
"Well everything is fine with you two." Hera commented to Joxer. Both he and Ares let out a breath.
The door opened behind them and Bliss popped his head out. "You guys can come in now." They followed him in. Cupid and Strife on one side with Bliss and Ares, Joxer, and Aphrodite on the other.
"This is Lycius, God of Pranks." Bliss said as he handed his son over to his father. Cupid held the baby gently and laughed when Strife made cooing noises. Cupid was thankful to both his grandchildren. Everyone was.
"And this is Solena. Our new Goddess of Lost Lovers." Dez handed her daughter to her grandfather.
"She looks just like Dez and Strife." 'Dite said. It was true Solena, Strife and Dez shared the same hair, skin and eyes while Bliss, Cupid and Lycius had the same hair.
"How are you feeling?" Joxer asked as he sat on the edge of the bed. He and Dez were best friends and cohorts in crime.
"Better. Twins are evil." Dez said on a laugh. They smiled as Ares and Aphrodite cooed over Solena and Strife and Cupid argue over who was cuter.
"It doesn't matter they're are both beautiful." Bliss said. "Just like their mother." He bent over and kissed her softly. Both babies at that moment giggled. It was obvious they were picking up on the vibes coming from their parents.
"So the God of Pranks, huh. Him I guess it skips a generation." Strife said,
"Daddy!" Dez squealed. She wasn't totally mad.
"And our little Love Goddess over here." 'Dite cooed. "It's not so bad being a Great-grandmother. Even if I don't look it."
"You don't look like anyone's mom." Ares commented to his sister. Everyone laughed. Dez stopped laughing and thought about what the Fates had said. All that they had said.
"Dez what's wrong?" Bliss asked.
"I just figured it out. You know about the Fates saying if I succeeded in coming home I would bring about the rebirth of the gods?"
Everyone nodded. "Don't you see? Joxer's pregnant. We already have 2 new Gods. It's possible for the pantheon to be filled with children again." Dez stated. The others let her words sink in. It was true. Now that the Fates' words had come true, everyone could start on their families again.
"Well I guess this means we have to keep ya." Strife said hugging his daughter.
"Yes I guess we have to." Bliss said.
///Sometime later///
Dez laughed as Ares made silly faces at Joxer and his daughter, Kora. 'Cius and 'Lena were practicing their flying and everyone was generally having a good time. Pregnancies had been popping up all over Olympus. 'Dite and Heph were expecting and so was Eris for that matter. Even Strife and Cupid were expecting, this time it was a boy. It felt so good to be surrounded by family.
She smiled when Bliss walked over, "Happy?" he asked as he put his arms around her.
"Yes. Very." She smiled as their son and daughter did loops and flips. Dez didn't think life could get any better. And that was a good thing.
