Craig- So next weekend... Road trip?

Everyone sat together. Paige walked over when she overheard their plans

Paige- Hey you guys... So road trip? Spinner you can go in MY car.
Spinner- Um... I think we're going with Craig
Paige- Oh... we're

Yvette looked at Paige knowing what she was trying to do. Rile her up. She wanted to laugh knowing that that wasn't going to rile her up... Now if she had to see Ashley and Craig kiss one more time she would scream

Ashley- Well I say we all meet up at Johnson Square and we go.
Marco- Good idea
Yvette- Well i think i'll need a ride there... I don't think i am strong enough to carry my bags all the way there seeing as how... well im not any muscle...

Both Marco and Craig knew the real reason she probably wouldn't be able to. Lately she had been getting more and more tired... And her doctor had raised her medications. But she was still Yvette which made both of them only see it as a small thing, although Craig hadn't been happy with the news her dosage went up.

Craig- Well i'll carry you... i mean... well i'll pick you up...

Everyone laughed thinking he was joking. Yvette and Craig laughed nervously and luckily only person noticed and knew why... unfortunately another person noticed and didn't know why but had a hunch.

*Later*

Ashley sat in bed singing and reading when suddenly her phone rang

Paige- Ash? Its Paige...

Ashley- Hey!

She shifted her weight, leaning forward in her bed.

Ash- Whats up?
Paige- Don't let Yvette go near Craig anymore ok?

Ashley was startled by that

Ash- Why?
Paige- Haven't you noticed the way they talk to each other... They are hiding something...
Ash- Paige...
Paige- Oh poor Spinner...
Ash- Hmm... you know its really wrong of you Paige... Yvette has been really sweet and Craig and her are only friends... Dont use me and Craig to get Spinner back ok? Ill talk to you later...
Paige- But Ash!
Ash- Bye Paige

Yvette grabbed her bag pack with all her stuff and started lugging it down the stairs. Her mother and father looked up at her with tearful eyes

Dad- Need help?
Yvette- Naw papa thanks

After minutes of pulling she finally got it down.

Yvette- Spinner should be here soon...
Mom- Here hunny....

She handed her an envelope.

Mom- 200 dollars, just in case of anything or if you want anything...

Yvette smiled at her calmly

Yvette- Its only 4 days mumma
Dad- Itll feel like longer

They both hugged their daughter and the bell rang. She opened the door and Spinner laughed.

Spin- HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CARRY THAT BOULDER LOOKING BAG OF YOURS?!

Yvette and Spinner sat on a bench in the park waiting for Craig and Ashley to pull up eating pop tarts

Yvette- Gimmie my French Toast one.
Spin- No way im eating them...
Yvette- HEY!

They started fighting over it and Spinner stole a kiss.

Yvette pulled back, making herself smile.

Yvette- What was that for?
Spinner- Being cute...

She couldn't help but like Spinner at that moment. Soon Craigs car pulled up to sidewalk. Craig looked at Yvette.

He hadn't seen her for 2 days. Both had been so busy. But seeing her with Spinner crushed him. He turned the car off and he and Ashley got out of the car.

Ash- Seems like Yvette packs like me... Like we're moving... our whole room...

Yvette smiled sending shivers down Craigs spine.

Craig- Here let me help
spin- Naw man ill get it...

Craig felt a surge of jealousy sweep him

Craig turned to Yvette and got close to her as Ashley went to help Spinner get her bag into the car.

Craig- I haven't seen you in a while.
Yvette- I know...
Craig- How have you been feeling?
Yvette- Not so good...
Craig- Why didn't you call me?
Yvette- For the same reason you didnt call me.

Ashley and Spinner finally closed the trunk.

Spinner- OK! COME ON! ROAD TRIP!

Ashley laughed and got in the front seat. Craig opened the car door for Yvette and she got in.

Yvette stuck her head out the window, letting the cool air hit her face. Craig looked out his side mirror and looked at her smiling face.

Spinner- THERES JIMMY! HEY!

Jimmy, sitting in his car with Hazel, Marco, Dylan, and Spinner waved and quickly turned on the car and sped after them.

Craig- Woah! Hey man! Yall ready?

Jimmy opened Hazel's window and yelled

Jimmy- Lets go... where we going?
Craig- Um...
Ashley- WASHINGTON!
Yvette- YAY!
Craig- Ok Washington... Hope we dont need visas!!!

The light turned green and they drove off.

Ashley looked towards Craig and smiled and he returned the smile but not well enough. Lately, no matter how hard she had tried to not let Paige's words bother her they did.

Later they pulled over near a lake and got out.

Hazel- Feels good to strech these legs...

Paige caught Spinner alone, Spinner having gone to find a path down to the lake.

Paige- Spin? Hey.
Spinner- Oh... um yeah?
Paige- You ok?
Spinner- Um... yeah. Why wouldn't I be?

Paige- Oh... nohing I just thought you and Yvette weren't ok...

Spinner looked at Paige a bit furious

Spin- Why wouldn't we be ok?
Paige- Haven't you noticed anything wierd between her and Craig?
Spin- No... I mean they are friends... big deal...
Paige- It IS a big deal... Open your eyes Spin...

Paige walked away with a huge evil smirk on her face

Yvette sat on the floor and reached into her pocket for the pills she needed to take at that hour. Suddenly a bottle of water appearead floating infront of her face.

Marco- Here.

He smiled at her and knelt down next to her.

Marco- You know Paige is starting to talk
Yvette- About?
Marco- You... Craig...
Yvette- Does she...
Marco- I think she doesn't she's just using what she sees in your friendship and using it against you two.
Yvette- I don't know anymore Marco. Its like... Craig expect this to be romantic but... We're here with OTHER people NOT each other....
Marco- Ay Nina...
