Sara and Grissom kept observing people in public as they waited for her appointment time. They left a few hours early so they could do some more research.
They looked at people walking the streets of Las Vegas. Some were completely in love; you could see it in their eyes. They loved each other. The other couples were content; that they were comfortable with each other was also evident.
Grissom reached for Sara’s hand as they neared the building where her appointment was, she entwined her fingers with his. It felt right.
Things were different now. Different than they had ever been before. Grissom had his daughter, they were searching for Sara’s daughter and Sara was certain she was carrying another child.
Sara and Grissom walked into the professional building with Sam in hand. Sara gave her information to the receptionist, gave her blood and sat and waited.
“Sara Sidle.” The nurse asked.
Sara stood up and Grissom stood up behind her. They followed the nurse into the room.
“Wow, you already have a little one?”
“Yes.” Sara spoke.
“You are going to be busy with two. Based on your blood work you are indeed pregnant.” The doctor told them.
“We know. So Doctor Can you tell me how far along I am?”
“I can in a minute; I just need to examine you.”
Sara got the gown on and got up on the table. The doctor started her examination.
When the doctor finished she asked Sara to get dressed and she would talk to them.
“Based on what you wrote down, and my calculations, you are somewhere in the ballpark of about twelve weeks, does that sound right?”
Sara quickly did the calculation in her head. “Yes, about that.”
“Ok, so make another appointment for a few weeks and I will see you then.”
Sara and Grissom walked out and got in the truck.
“Sara, I have some other news.”
