The Eyes Have It
Dinner
Julie met Will at his house and he drove them to Hannibal's. Will was unsure of how she would react to the invitation Hannibal had extended. He was surprised when she enthusiastically accepted. Throughout the drive Will would occasionally look over at Julie in the passenger seat. She had chosen to wear a low cut black dress that complimented her in every way. Her dark red hair hung in long, loose curls falling over her shoulders. Will reached over and put his hand on her knee. She smiled at him. Will wanted to slide his hand up her thigh but he knew he wouldn't be able to stop himself once her started. They reached Hannibal's just as the blackness was creeping into the sky. Will knocked several times before Hannibal opened the door. He was wearing a white buttons down that stretched over his broad chest, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
"Please come in. Forgive me I was so caught up in cooking I didn't even hear the door."
Will and Julie walked into the foyer. Will noted Hannibal's eyes had not left Julie since he first saw her.
"Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Dr. Juliette Ash."
Hannibal took Julie's hand and kissed his gently all the while staring into her eyes. She smiled warmly.
"It's an honor Dr. Lecter. I have read so many of your papers. Please, call me Julie. The only person who still calls me Juliette is Will and I have given up trying to make him stop."
"It is a pleasure to meet you Julie. It is not often I have the honor of having women as beautiful as you in my home. You are most welcome. Please, follow me."
Hannibal led them into the dining room where the table was already set. He poured them wine and excused himself to the kitchen.
"He hasn't been able to stop looking at you since he opened the door." Will said into his glass as he took a drink.
"Do I detect a hint of jealousy in your voice Mr. Graham?"
Will clenched his jaw. He was jealous.
"It doesn't suit you Will." she smirked.
Hannibal came through the door holding two dishes and balancing a third on his forearm. He set them down and gave a satisfied smile when Julie gave a small gasp.
"Et voila, duck a l'orange."
The presentation was always immaculate with Hannibal's dishes. Will and Hannibal both watched as Julie took her first bite. She closed her eyes and let her head fall back, tasting everything. She gave a slight moan that sent a chill up Will's spine and made Hannibal arch his eyebrow.
"Hannibal, this is delicious. The wine pairs with it perfectly. 2007 Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus?"
Hannibal looked surprised. Will choked slightly on his wine.
"Yes, it is. You have a nose for wine."
Juliette smiled at him. Will could feel some kind of electricity in the room. The tension between the three of the was palpable.
"How about some dessert?"
