A/N: Here is the continuation to “Birthday”. Hope you enjoy! This is for the 20 dates challenge.
Summary: Nick hadn’t been to a nice restaurant in a while and Danny decided to take his lover to a romantic Dinner and movie.
Romantic Dinner
Nick fiddled with his hair and paced around the apartment. Danny told him to dress nicely and that he would pick him up at 7pm. So, here Nick was, dressed in a dark blue, silk dress shirt and black dress pants, waiting for Danny to come and get him.
A month after his birthday, Danny and Nick had to go to a crime scene that was situated at a fancy restaurant. As they were working the scene Nick had commented on how long it had been since he’s been to the whole dinner and a movie date. Once they had collected all of the evidence, and finished their work for the day, Danny had pounced on his lover as soon as they were home.
FLASHBACK
Nick was slammed into the wall as Danny thrust his tongue into Nick’s mouth. Moans came from both men and as soon as the assault began, it ended. Nick panted to catch his breath, and Danny looked smug.
“Next weekend we have off, I’m gonna wine and dine you. Then we’re going to the newest movie that we both want to see. Hope you’re ready to be spoiled lover boy.” Danny’s eyes were sparkling and alight with mischief.
Before Nick could retort, Danny was back on his Texan lover in a heart-beat. Danny had managed to distract his lover with kisses and groping until they were both forced to go into the bedroom.
END FLASHBACK
A knock on the door broke Nick from his memories of that day two weeks ago. Seeing that it was Danny, Nick was surprised to be given a bouquet of peach orchids. Smiling at his lover’s thoughtfulness, Nick put the flowers in water and followed his date to the car.
Nick took the time took look his lover over as they drove to the restaurant. Danny was in a dark red wine shirt and dark brown slacks. The chain around his neck was visible, and Nick had to restrain himself from nibbling on that elegant displayed flesh.
He was so engrossed by Danny’s outfit, that he didn’t realise that they had stopped until he noticed Danny looking at him with an amused expression. Fighting off the rising blush, Nick leaned over and nipped that neck before climbing out of the car. Upon seeing the restaurant, Nick remained frozen. They were in front of one of the highest class restaurant and Nick just stared dumbly.
“Danny?” He knew that his voice sounded weak, and Nick was soon surrounded by Danny’s scent and arms.
“Come on love, let me spoil you tonight.” Danny’s husky voice got Nick moving, and soon the pair was seated in a private room, where they could enjoy each other’s company much more.
As they ate their dinner, both began to share the intimacies that most heterosexual couples get to enjoy in any outdoor setting. They shared their food and sampled the few entrees that were given to them, Nick began to relax and enjoy the evening so much more.
He knew that he was being seduced, and that the ways that Danny was treating him sent warm tingles up his spine. Danny had gone all out for him, and Nick could only fall more in love with Danny, and he couldn’t wait for the movie.
When dessert came around, chocolate mousse and New York cheese cake were shared among the pair and the simple pleasures that were experienced made the evening much more exciting for Nick.
Speaking over coffee before they continued their evening Nick could only stare at Danny in awe and pleasure.
“Danny, you really didn’t have to go all out. While I love what you did, are you sure that this isn’t going to be a problem?” Danny gave Nick a sweet smile and simply gave Nick a soft kiss.
Nick couldn’t wait for the movie that they were going to see. It would be just like high school dating... He hoped.
