Chapter 11/?
Surrey, England
Number 8 Privet Drive, Figg’s House
November 22, 1991 = Thursday
It had been almost a week, and still Arebella hadn’t seen Harry Potter. When she tried to mention Harry to Petunia, Petunia would change the subject right away. Arebella then tried to contact Albus and tell him her worries, but for some reason he wouldn’t listen to here. Not knowing what else to do, Figg continued to keep an eye on the house, and baby sit Dudley, when every Petunia and Vernon had to go somewhere.

The next morning Harry, who jumped onto their bed screaming and laughing, awoke Jim and Blair.
“Harry please, stop jumping.” Blair said, in a tired voice.
When Harry didn’t stop jumping on the bed, Jim sat up and grabbed him around the waist and pulled him down.
“Come lie down with dad and me.” Said Jim.
“What time is it?” Blair asked, in a sleepy voice.
“Around nine o’clock.” Jim answered, as he settled Harry.
“We should get up.”
“It’s still early.”
“I hunge.” Harry said, as he cuddled next to his parents.
“You heard your son, he’s hungry.” Blair said, as he got out of bed. “Watch him while I take a shower.”
Ten minutes later Blair came out of the bathroom, picked Harry up and took him to his bathroom, where he washed and then dressed him. While Blair was washing Harry, Jim took his own shower.
While Blair was cooking breakfast the phone rang, “Ellison-Sandburg.”
“Sandburg, where’s Ellison?” Asked a male voice.
“Good morning Simon. He’s in the shower. What’s going on?”
“There’s been a murder. We need him to come in and look it over.” Said Simon.
“Give us an hour.” Blair said, before hanging up.
A minute later, “Ellison residence.” Answered a female voice.
“Hi, Lucy. This is Blair. Can *a* speak with William?”
“One moment.”
A minute later, “Blair, good morning. Are you calling regarding the real estate agent?” Inquired William.
“No Bill. Something came up, and we need to drop Harry off.”
“Of course. Anyway Steven would like to met his new nephew.”
“That would be great. We will bring him over in thirty minutes.” Blair said, before hanging up.
William Ellison’s House
Hanging up the phone, Bill turned toward his youngest son, “That was Blair. They need to drop Harry off.”
“Finally, I’ll get to met my new nephew.” Steven said, with a smile.
“You should know that Harry is a very special child.”
“What do you mean?” Steven asked, taken aback.
“He’s a magical child.” Answered Bill.
”Dad, magic is not real.”
“It is and I’ve seen him perform it.”
“I have to see it to believe.”
“You will. They’ll be here in thirty minutes.”

Five minutes later, Jim came downstairs, “Jim, Simon called he wants us in.” Before Jim could say anything, “Don’t worry, I called your dad. He’ll be glad to take him.”
“Did Simon say why he wanted us?” Jim asked; as he sat down to eat breakfast.
“A murder. They want you to look it over.” Blair answered, as he picked Harry up. “Hey sport, you want to go see grandpa?”
“Gandpa, wefe?” Harry asked, looking around.
“He’s at his house.” Blair answered, as he changed Harry.
“I play witf granpa.” Harry said, as Blair was changing him.
“Yes, you get to play with grandpa.”
A minute later they all left the loft and drove to William Ellison’s house, “Hey, dad thanks for taking him on such short notice.” Jim said, as he handed Harry over. “Behave for grandpa.”
“Bye, bye.” Harry said, as he waved.
A minute later, “Harry I want you to meet your uncle Steve.” Said William.
“Like unkl Vern?” Harry asked, in a scared voice.
“No, nothing like your uncle Vernon.” Williams said, in a reassuring voice. “Come say hello.”
Looking over at a Steven, Harry gave him a shy smile, “Hi.” Whispered Harry.
“Hello Harry, it’s nice to meet you.” Steven said, giving Harry a warm smile.
“Harry, uncle Steven wants to see your special gift.” Williams said, with an encouraging smile.
Giving his grandfather a happy smile, Harry stretched out his arm toward the living room. A minute later one of his toys came flying toward him, causing Harry to giggle in happiness.
“Very good Harry.” Bill said, in a proud voice.
Giggling, Harry began to play, while his grandpa and uncle talked, “That is amazing.” Steven said, in an amazed voice.
Walking toward the living room, “It really is.” Williams said, as he sat Harry on the floor.
“Are they going to help him develop his gifts?” Inquired Steven, as he watched Harry play with a stuffed wolf and dog.
“Yes, that way he will be able to do whatever he wants.” Answered William
“I think they made the right decision. If you helped Jim with his gifts, he wouldn’t be having problems.”
“I know Steven. But I was scared that he would be considered a freak of nature. I never wanted any of my sons to feel different.” Williams said, in a sad voice. (Steven is right; I should have supported Jimmy, when his gifts started to develop.)
“Don’t be sad, you still have a chance to make it up, now that Harry is here.” Steven said, as he joined Harry.
Looking up, “Play.” Harry said, as he handed Steven the stuffed wolf.
With a smile on his face, Steven joined Harry in playing with his stuffed animals. Harry began to
giggle when Steven began to make funny noises for the stuffed animals.

It was forty minutes later when Jim and Blair arrived at the Precinct, took the elevator to the seventh floor. Walking into Major Crimes, they went straight to Simon’s office.
“You wanted to see us Simon.” Jim said, as they walked into his office.
“Yes, there was a murder tonight. I would like for you to look it over.” Simon answered, while giving Blair a folder.
“What do we know so far?” Blair asked, as he looked through the folder.
“There were two of them, a man and woman. They were both shot from behind.” Answered Simon. “But the funny thing is, they can’t find the bullet.”
*“What do you mean, they can’t find the bullet. How do you know they were shot then?”* Inquired Jim.
“There were holes in the back of their heads.”
“Lets go down to the morgue and I’ll have a look.” Jim said, while looking at the file.
“Sure, come on.” Simon said, as he walked out of his office.
Five minute later they reached the morgue, “Casey, can we see the two victims?” Jim asked, as he walked in.
Taking out the two bodies, “Thank you. Can you wait outside?” Said Simon.
While Jim was looking over the bodies, Blair kept his hand on Jim’s shoulders, so he wouldn’t zone out. As-soon-as Jim touched the first body; he received a shock, which knocked him away.
“Jim, are you alright?” Blair asked, in a concerned voice.
“I don’t know. When I touched the girl, I got a shock. I don’t know if she was electrocuted, but it
felt like she was in tremendous pain.”
“Try the guy.” Suggested Simon.
Placing his hand on the man, Jim got the same reaction but this one was more intense. It was so intense that it knocked Jim down.
“Jim!” Blair yelled, running toward him. “Jim are you alright?”
“Sandburg, is he alright?”
“Give me a minute Simon.” Blair said, as he helped Jim up. “Jim was it the same sensation, as from the other sit.
“Yes, but this one was more intense.” Jim said, as he got up with Blair’s help.
“Simon, I’m taking Jim home. You’ll have to get two other detectives to go over the case.” Said Blair.
“Chief, its ok.” Jim said, trying to reassure Blair.
“No it’s not ok. You’ve been knocked down twice, by an unknown force.” Blair said, in a forceful voice.
“Sandburg’s right. Go home, I’ll call you if anything comes up.” Agreed Simon.
With a dejected sigh, “I guess you’re right.”
As they walked out, “Magic was used on them.” Jim said, in a distracted voice.
“Really? Did you see who it was?” Blair asked, in a surprised voice.
“No, it was too fast. However, the person was evil and their intentions where evil.” Jim answered, while they walked toward the elevator.
As they reached the elevator, Simon caught up with them, “How are you *felling*?”
“I’m fine. We’re taking the case, expect us in tomorrow.” Announced Blair.
“Are you sure?” Simon asked, surprised.
“Yes, this is right up our alley.” Jim said, before he and Blair left.
“What do you mean it’s up your alley?” Simon yelled, just before they left.
“We’ll tell you everything tomorrow.” Blair said, just before the elevator came.
“I hate when they do that.” Simon whispered, as he watched them leave.
10:30 a.m.
Thirty minutes later they reached Major Crimes, “What are we doing here?” Asked Blair.
“I want to get started on the case, while it’s still fresh in my mind.” Jim answered, as he started to right everything he could remember. Blair was on the Internet looking up anything that could cause pain on the human body. While Jim and Blair were doing what they could, Simon walked into the station.
“I thought you two *where* going home?”
“We need to show you something.” Said Jim.
“Come to my office.” Simon said, as he walked toward his office. Walking into Simon’s office, Jim handed him his notes, “What is this?”
“I didn’t tell you everything when we were in the morgue.”
“What did you leave out?” Simon asked, in an exasperated voice.
“Read my notes, and you’ll know.”
“Here is what I got *of* the Internet so far.” Blair said, as he handed their findings.
“What am I looking at?” Simon asked, as he read the reports.
“We believe that those people were killed by magic.” Answered Blair.
“Why would you think that?” Simon asked, in a surprised voice.
“When I touched both bodies, I got a shock of pain.
It was a different kind of pain than when you get shocked when you’re electrocuted.” Answered Jim.
“Why do you think it was magic and not electricity?” Simon asked, as he read what Blair had found.
“I should have told you this as-soon-as it happened, but I didn’t want you to panic.
But, while Blair and I were meditating, Incacha came to me and introduced me to Merlin…”
