Brass scanned the room. Everyone was cuddling with each other. It was amazing to see the sensual couples coming pretty close to making out at the tables in the restaurant.
“What is with this place?” Brass asked.
“What do you mean?” Nick asked.
“Look around, don’t you notice anything?”
“Not really, he said looking at Mia with lust in his eyes.
“Hey isn’t that Doc Robbins?” Brass interjected.
“Yeah, with his wife, what’s her name?”
“Ginny, have you ever met her?” Brass asked.
“Not really, we don’t flow with the same circles.” Nick asked.
“I guess this place is really catching on.” Brass stated. “There is Vega and Betsy and Vartaan and Debbie.”
“Wow, half of the LVPD is in here.” Nick laughed.
“Here comes Atwater and Emily too, Cath must have been raving again.” Brass laughed.
“Well you know Catherine.” Nick laughed.
Greg returned to the table with Sandra they were nearly joined at the hip.
“You two having fun?” Nicky asked.
“Yes.” Greg cooed. “We were dancing. We are going to walk back to the lab.”
Brass looked to Nick. “Alright, meet you there.”
Greg took Sandra’s hand in his and they walked out of the restaurant.
“It is a beautiful night.” Greg stated as they walked in the bright Las Vegas night.
“The lights are so beautiful, like nothing I have ever seen before.”
“Yeah, Vegas is a world all its own.”
Greg wrapped his arm around Sandra’s shoulder, she shivered. “You cold?”
“A bit, it gets chilly during the night.”
“Yes, Vegas is Vegas that is for sure.” He took his jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders as they walked back to the lab.
“What is with this place?” Brass asked.
“What do you mean?” Nick asked.
