Here but Gone
Her lips embraced his and she felt herself torn, the loud shrieking of the Tardis lift off noises pierced the air. She pulled away from his kiss and felt her body being pulled towards the box, she had known as her freedom. She galloped a couple of feet away from the box and saw it fade into time. She watched, confused worried. He walked up to her and laced his fingers through hers. She looked up to his eyes and felt her eyes shift towards the sandy ground. She closed her eyes and turned to him letting go of his hand. " So...we should probably find you a name, eh?" She smiled nervoulsy.
His eyes changed from sad to that slap happy grin " Yeah." He laughed.
"This will take some time, you know...I mean what am I supposed to do. Just forget about him?" She felt tears pooling in the corners of her eyes.
The new nameless man before her looked, felt, smelled, talked, and was...was her doctor. But wasn't, he was...just a man. Not the doctor. She sobbed loudly and fell to her knees feeling the confusion sink into her heart.
He sauntered over to her and knelt down to her. " Am I that bad?" He asked sarcastically, trying to make her laugh. " I mean I know, I might be a lil' different. But am I ugly?" He asked shocked.
She couldn't help a smile " No you are not ugly.You are just" She paused and looked into his eyes, he was still that peppy,energetic man. Not a time lord a man... " You are my boyfriend now." She laughed girlishly.
"There we go!" He smiled he stood up and took her hand pulling her up in a hurry. He laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist. She felt her body being lifted like the doctor always did. He spun her around and hugged her tightly. She laughed and felt some of the confusion slip away. He might not be the doctor, but he sure was close enough. Very close to him, she laughed and felt all the memories of her doctor come to mind. She closed her eyes pained, it might hurt. But she had him now, it would take some time getting used to but...none the less. She had him. She laughed and enjoyed the embrace, thinking of what was to come.
