Illinois Jan 2006.....
Amy and Jen had been good friends since high school, ever since an older hunter named Bobby Singer arranged an 'accidental' meeting between them, knowing they were kindred spirits. They had both lost their family in horrible incidents when they were younger and had shared an interest in anything supernatural; ghosts, demons and the like. After they graduated high school, they parted ways to attend different colleges in different parts of the nation and then reconnected again after a few years, running into each other at a local bar. The two of them decided to take on demon hunting together, to try to find out who or what had killed their families. Then after several years of hunting together they became as close as sisters. They'd been all over the country and were now back in Illinois at their old stomping grounds in Belleville, visiting some friends and were staying at the Super 8 motel in downtown, it wasn’t too cheap, but it wasn’t the greatest.
Between the two of them, Amy played pool the best and was able to earn them a great deal of their money, but some of it came from Jen's inheritance. Jen was the computer geek of the two, doing most of their research. She also had the car, a black 1969 Black Dodge charger and was one hell of a driver. She drove wild and fierce, like a stunt driver. Amy usually hated to drive, but shot a gun like she had a bit of the devil in her. She liked to fight and looked like a kid in a candy store, every time she shot one of her 'toys' as she called them.
Amy sat on of the bed cleaning their small stockpile of guns including a Colt 1911 A1 .45, Glock 9mm, and their sawed off shot guns they used for rock salt rounds. There was a hidden compartment in the trunk of the Charger where most of their stuff was kept. Jen had just finished sharpening some of her knives.
“Shall we hit the bar up the road?” Jen asked Amy sheathing the knife she had just finished cleaning and sharpening
“You bet, what else is there to do in this town.” Amy giggled as she finished up with the guns.
The girls changed into something a little more decent than what they had on and put on a bit of makeup. Jen put one of her knives down the side of the boot she was wearing and Amy hid a gun in her ankle strap. They walked 5 minutes to the bar and noticed that it wasn't too busy for a Friday night.
Amy and Jen made their way to the bar. The bar tender was an older guy, looked like he had worked there for many years, and noticed them coming in.
“What can I get you ladies?” he asked them.
“Umm, I’ll have a Amaretto sour.” Jen said.
“Whiskey for me.”
"Trying to get wasted?" Jen wondered.
"It's been a rough couple of weeks J." Amy answered and they both giggled, knowing it was the truth.
While they waited for their drinks, they gazed around the dimly lit bar. Amy glanced at the pool table and saw someone playing; maybe she could challenge him to a game or two she thought, with a grin. When he stood up from his last shot, her breath caught and she bit her bottom lip. He was handsome, short spiky hair and tall. She hadn’t seen a guy that good looking in a long time.
“Hey, Jen, check out that guy in the black tee shirt and brown jacket at the pool table.” Amy said nudging her.
Jen glanced over to where she told her to look, “Yea he is pretty cute, but what about his buddy over there.” She asked looking towards a taller guy, with shaggy brown hair, and a beer in one hand.
“Ooh, not bad. Whoa he is tall, and muscular, but I still like the shorter guy.” Amy said as they picked their drinks up and made their way to an empty table not too far from the guys they were watching.

Sam was watching Dean play some pool in the bar that Dean had picked out to unwind. They ended up in this town at the request of Bobby Singer, their trusted friend and damn near father figure. They were to meet up with two girls, much to Dean’s delight. The girls were hunters, and there was something big going down, and he thought they might be able to help them. Sam happened to glance over to the bar and catch site of the two girls Bobby had described for him. One had pitch black hair down the middle of her back and that would be Amy; the other girl, Jen, had shoulder length blond hair with some streaks of brown running through it. Yep that definitely had to be them.
“Dean!” Sam said trying to grab his attention.
“Yea?” Dean replied hitting the balls on the pool table.
“I think those two girls Bobby told us about are over there.” Sam said nodding in their direction.
“Really?” Dean said.
Sam could tell he was probably gonna put on the charm and try to flirt with them. Dean finished his game and picked up his beer, so they could talk to the girls.
Jen watched the guys walking over to their table, “Shit, Amy look they're coming over here.”
“The short one is mine.” She teases, giggling.
Jen just laughed at her friend, “Fine but the tall one is all mine.”
Dean and Sam stopped at their table, “Hey ladies, mind if we sit with you?”
“Sure.” Jen said to Dean, making some room for them in the booth.
Sam scooted in next to Jen and Dean slid in next to Amy.
“I’m Dean and this is my brother Sam.” He introduced them.
“Amy, and this is my friend Jen.” Amy made introductions, grasping Dean's hand.
Jen kept her eye on Sam. He was a lot taller up close, but he had sexy brown eyes and hair she would love to grab hold of while…she stopped her thoughts right there. She didn’t sleep around with just anyone, but Sam...he was tempting.
“So what are two pretty girls like you doing in a dump like this?” Dean asked with a sexy smile.
Amy glanced at Jen and rolled her eyes at the lame line and Jen just ignored her.
“Well we’re just visiting some friends as we were going through town.” Jen said to him,
“What about you two?”
“Just passing through.” Dean said, omitting the reason why they were here.
Sam caught himself gazing down at Jen’s legs. She had on a short skirt that stopped before her knee’s, and he thought how he like to have those sexy legs wrapped around his waist. He shook his head shrugging off the thought.
“You ladies want another drink?” Dean asked them.
“Sure.” the girls said in unison and Amy smiled at Dean.
“I’ll go help him.” Sam said sliding out the booth and going to the bar with Dean.
“So you think it’s them?” he asked him after he ordered the drinks.
“Yea I think it is, and damn is Amy hot or what?”
“Dean would think with your bigger head for once.” Sam said picking up his and Jen’s drink.
“Dude, you need to lighten up.” Dean told him as they made their way back to the booth. "Besides, I saw the way you looked at Jen. Huh?" He added.
Sam gave him a look of agreement, than changed his expression to that of false annoyance, trying to cover up his feelings.
"Mmm-hmm" Dean goaded Sam.
The four of them sat in the bar for the next few hours, drinking and chatting and even played a few rounds of pool, badly, as the night wore on. Finally at about 3 in the morning the bar closed and Jen and Amy left with Sam and Dean back to the hotel as that is where they were staying too.
Jen and Amy hadn’t drunk that much in a long time and were feeling pretty good. Amy was actually allowing Dean to pull her towards her and Jen's room.
“Take Jen to our room Sammy.” Dean called to him as he disappeared into room 20 with Amy.
“Well I guess we get to stay the night together.” Jen giggled.
“Typical Dean.” Sam said as he led her to Room 25, just down the hall from her room.
Sam opened the door to his room let Jen in first. He shut the door and dropped the keycard on the desk. Jen turned toward Sam and gazed up into his eyes, he had the sexist brown eyes and cute dimples when he smiled but she hardly knew him enough to sleep with him at his point. They decided to talk for a bit, before Sam let her sleep on the bed and get some sleep. He sat in the chair and watched her sleep, the way her eye lashes rested against her lower eyes, and her hair fanned out against the pillow, she was beautiful in his eyes. Sam drifted off to sleep in the chair he was sitting in.
